Now, now do remember that for many such barbaric nations. These bans come out of a savage fear, rather than villainy.

As far as I understand many of these societies ban firearms because they fear the loud noises they make and the seemingly unexplainable death they appear to cause when these "firesticks" are pointed at their people.

It is a perfectly reasonable thing to imagine that these barbarians simply do not understand that their citizenry can be taught to use firearms safely and responsibly, so in their fear they ban them.

It is in our advisement to not strongly judge these nations. Unless of course, they only ban firearms to their citizens and allow the police and military to use them, in which case they are clearly aware some members of their society can use them safely and as such are nothing more than savage tyrants.

Conceal carry in most of the country, some areas have open carry, not to mention everyone drives well armed cars that are like tanks to fight off road pirates and biker gangs, everyone owns at least one handgun and a shotgun or rifle, there is no registration since as an anarchy, do not really have a government.

The ownership of firearms is restricted under the Firearms Act of 1974. For a citizen to possess a firearm, they must be at least twenty years old and have a license issued to them by a representative of the Committee for Firearm Safety or be under the direct supervision of a person who meets these two requirements. Before someone can be issued with a firearms license they must have no criminal record and pass a 100 question firearms safety exam with more than 90% accuracy. A firearms license allows a citizen to purchase bolt action rifles and pump action shotguns, all other weapons types are considered restricted weapons. However, a person who is a member of the police or military can be issued with a special license known as a Restricted Firearms Permit which allows them to possess restricted weapons. Before receiving a RFP, a person must have written permission from the head of the police or the military branch which they serve in.

Due to the ongoing civil war there are currently no restrictions on private gun ownership. Though I imagine if the "legitimate" government wins it will still be legal with few if any restrictions as we are an extremely civil rights oriented people.

What's The States of Firearm Ownership In Your Nation?

Firearms are not allowed to be owned by civilians in The United Socialist Provinces of CoolBoyGcp. If a citizen is found in possesion of a firearm, they must immediately surrender it to the state, pay a hefty SC5,000($10,000) fine, and face a probation period of five years.

Police, military, and other national security agencies are allowed to posses firearms of any kind as they are government organizations. Members of these agencies may not bring these firearms home. And if they retire, they shall be required to hand in all firearms to the state.

The nation has a stockpile of billions of firearms; which are for use for government security agencies as well as in the event of an invasion of the nation in which case the nation shall arm every citizen for defense of the nation.

Though firearms are illegal for the average citizen, many organized crime members have organized or use a black market to obtain weapons. Also, an emerging field is the printing of firearms using the common 3D printer.

Although there is a firearms registry in Krasnotav, there is no regulation on what a civilian can purchase. The firearms registry itself is actually a wildly outdated mess and is largely ignored by all but those citizens that are conscious enough of the law to actually bother with it. The KNP also hardly enforces it, having far more important things to do. Ironic, as enforcement of the registry could likely prevent most of the civil strife that parts of Krasnotav seem to be playing tug-of-war against every year.

Weapons ownership is both unrestricted and pragmatically necessary in Kakistopolis, as one of the central features of our form of government is that it is legal to murder people on Wednesdays.

Gun ownership in the Republic of China is heavily regulated by law.

Generally, private citizens are not allowed to possess guns.
Guns can be used by law enforcement, the military and paramilitary, and security personnel protecting property of state importance (including the arms industry, financial institutions, storage of resources, and scientific research institutions).

Civilian ownership of guns is largely restricted to authorized, non-individual entities, including sporting organisations, authorized hunting reserves and wild life protection, management and research organizations. The chief exception to the general ban for individual gun ownership is for the purpose of hunting. Individuals who hold hunting permits can apply to purchase and hold firearms for the purpose of hunting. Illegal possession or sale of firearms may result in a minimum punishment of 3 years in prison, with the maximum being the death penalty. Gun ownership in Hong Kong and Macau is tightly controlled and possession are mainly in the hands of law enforcement, military and private security firms (providing protection for jewelers and banks). Still, possessing, manufacturing and import/exporting airsoft guns with a muzzle energy that no more than or above two joules of kinetic energy is legal to citizens in China's SARs.
Firearms control was inherited during British and Portuguese rule and more or less retained today. Under the Section 13 of Cap 238 Firearms and Ammunition Ordinance of the Hong Kong law, unrestricted firearms and ammunition requires a license. Those found in possession without a license could be fined HKD$100,000 and imprisonment for up to 14 years.

In Soviet-German Dortmund, the government are not only in favour of firearm ownership within the nation, they also give away firearms free to people. The government are in favour for 3 reasons;

1 - In the case of a war occurring within Soviet-German Dortmund, the government believe that supplying the citizens with PPsh-41's and Mauser C96 Schnellfeuer's will reduce chances of an enemy victory.

2 - All weapons supplied are made in Soviet-German Dortmund, increasing production within the arms industry.

3 - To ensure this doesn't cause any murder or anarchistic demonstrations, anyone who has unlawfully killed someone with any kind of firearm will be sentenced to death.

while it is perfectly lawful to possess ANYTHING you can make (or grow) yourself, it is extremely uncommon. being considered something of an esoteric hobby. partially because cameroi culture does not romanticize aggressiveness, but more so because firearms are, at the tech level of our planet, lananara, an extremely obsolete technology.

Legal, and with absolutely no restrictions, however mostly only the men actually own any firearms. Every tribesman is part of the army and with several million warriors and not the most funds, every man is required by law to own at least one rifle, shotgun, and handgun.

Anyone can buy a firearm, except mentally incompetent people. You have to register guns the same way you have to register cars. If you're seen in the public with a gun and without the registration paper, gun is confiscated and you'll get fine. You can retrieve gun from the local police office with registration paper and by paying the fine.

And there's no restriction on what type of gun you can buy. You can buy even a minigun if you can afford it.

Firearms are legal to own, however you must apply for a licence and security check which takes an average of 3 weeks, afterwards you can legally buy the firearm you have applied for, however the weapons are only legal on your own property, if you are caught carrying a weapon around with you then your gun and license is taken away and you are sentenced to a large fine or jail time.

However guns are becoming increasingly unpopular (partly due to the 300% tax on firearm purchases, especially in cities, and a petition has recently been brought forward to the government asking for a ban on firearms which is currently being considered.

Most firearms are largely "legal but regulated" in Neragua. Pistols and other handguns have an outright ban on them and possession of such is illegal. Hunting rifles and shotguns require a licence from the local police agency which must also certify that your firearms have a bolted down safe in which to store your weapon and ammunition. Incendiary devices such as grenades or other explosives are, like handguns, outright banned.

Weapons may only be carried and utilised on private (read: your own) property. Carrying a firearm in public is a criminal offence.

for possession of firearms and certain blade and electroshock weapons simply no current disqualifier, class 2 weapons license for purchase of all types and public carry of most but class 1 for public carry of guns, throwing stars and throwing knives, wepons license and drivers license categories is on the national health services photo ID card. Weapons licences are shall issue to those at least 16 and there is no weapons registry, weapons ownership is a constitutional right and very coomon mostly for target shooting and self defense(also as deterent against invasion) and hunting was never popular even when it was legal.
