A wedding of great majesty and circumstance is about to happen in the Allied Empire of Elven Imperium. Princess Falmarinaviel Ap Tauren'ohtar of the Kingdom of Earlann is to wed Prince Tiberius Von Constannia of Constannia. This marks a great event in the Empire for this marriage is the first official state wedding between the Empire and a human state. The wedding is bound to draw guest from all over the Empire and beyond. The Empire to foster better relations with other nations of the world has open its doors to guests from outside the empire to attend.

His majesty, Coronel Hoonen'raa Ap Tauren'ohtar has sent out invitations to all countries that either deal with Empire or where interested in dealing with the Empire. The Coronel himself was interested to meet with his future son-in-law and his family.

All the guests of the wedding where to first attend a reception party, given for the royal couple. The reception was to take place at the royal palace in Teuveamanthaar, the capital of Earlann. Because of the of the customs of the Wood Elf people, aircraft is not able to reach Teuveamanthaar. Instead guests are welcomed at Haelema Airport in Tal'en'Quessir, the capital. From there they are escorted by horse carriage through the lovely Elven countryside to Teuveamanthaar. Once in the Teuveamanthaar, the guests journey takes them to the palace. Where they will meet the Coronel and his wife, Queen Daeisel Ap Tauren'ohtar

Hoonen'raa Ap Tauren'ohtar, Coronel of Earlann was engaged in a battle..sort of. He was fighting to getting on a suit over his humongous body. It was no easy task. Unlike most Elven men who stood either shy of six feet or over, Hoonen'raa stood amazing seven feet and half. He also did not share the normal physique of an Elf. Bristling with muscles from a life of physical work, was shy of three hundred pounds. He was a mountain of an Elf. Which was why his friends and enemies called him the "Bear." The Elf lord pulled the suit jacket over his back like a warrior trying to pull a great weight over his shoulders. The suit slowly over his body and a smile slowly appeared on his lips. at last the blasted thing is conforming to my will. The Elf lord thought. Then to his horror, he hear a slight ripping sound and then tearing sound. Before he could react. The back of the suit was torn asunder. Frustrated he flung the torn suit down with a angry glare. He was about to do something more, then he heard the one voice in the world that command him. The voice of his queen. "Really Hoonen. You been at this all day. Your going to be late to meet our guests. Why don't you use magic to get it on?" Daeisel said with amused smile. Hoonen'raa was still unhappy. "Dear why must I wear a suit anyway. I am warrior. I Should wear my armor....at least that still fits me." The king spoke saying the last part under his breath. The queen moved her hand to his creek, instantly evaporating any anger in his heart. Daeisel could always do that to him, he thought. It was why he adore her. The queen spoke. "This a time of peace and celebration, not for war. Our daughter is getting married. So please, my love wear the suit." She said with that smile that instantly command the kings heart. "Ok." The king spoke, sounding like the love-sick Elven boy he was centuries ago. With that the queen waved her hands and the suit appeared on the Coronel. The suit fitted him perfectly. It made Hoonen'raa look like the Elf king he was. The royal couple made there way to the front of the palace to greet their foregin guests. The various Elven dignitaries had made there arrival the night previous. As they stood in the hall they wonder, which guests would arrive first.

As her parents greeted the guests, Princess Falmarinaviel, also know by her friends as Marina, was getting ready in her own way. I will be late to the reception, but my lateness will be worth it. She thought to herself.

((OCC: You can role play the journey to the palace and/or the meeting with the royal couple. Each person will be greeted and then ask to enjoy the reception party.))

The Haktivan party was pretty quiet during the carriage ride. Though very talkative and friendly when around friends, they rarely talked unless they had to.

The three of them occupied their time in their own special way. Isadore, the head of state and father of the young man and woman accompanying him, sat in the middle, content to smoke a cigar. He smiled as he looked at his daughter and foster son. He blew out some thick white smoke as he formed a strategy for the event before him.

His daughter, Kirimi, stared out the window, enjoying the view of the countryside. She thought about the young king David, one of the reasons she agreed to attend this event. She wanted to get an idea of what may await her.

Alex, the young ward, was fast asleep. He didn't really care for rides, and if it wasn't a military matter, he slept, plain and simple. The only reason he came was for the food, typical for Haktivans really.
All around disagreeable person.

The Air over Haelema Airport in Tal'en'Quessir:

Slowly and with a majestic grace no airplane could ever reach the 'Phoenix 3' made her way to the Airport.
The giant Strato-Zeppelin was not only a transport-vessel. It was a statement for the pride and glory of the Phoenixian Kingdom.
On a observer deck the 5 most important guests have a spectacular view over the city.
" Well that's it, the legendary Elven Imperium. I see why Viola was so excited in her first letter." Hilde Eirikson exclaimed, breaking the silence.
" That's nothing really, you should see the old dragon cities. A shame that they are destroyed completely and the Elves were not innocent on that." Black Tail exclaimed, the Draconide was on of the oldest ones of his kind, transformed by the elder council 5000 years ago. That was on the main reasons why the Draconides voted him as their delegate. He was a good diplomat but to be honest he was more then biased against the elves.
" Now, now, things changes ambassador. We're their allies now and they will expect to be threat like that." King Erik Eirikson remind the old Draconide. The King himself was a grace for himself, over 60 years by now and the one who lead Phoenixia in the independence again. A man of old steel but also the most skilled diplomat in the whole group.
" Sis this could be interesting don't you think ? I bet 50 Phoenix Dollar that there will be a brawl with the Draconide included." The first time since two months Crown Prince Frederik Eirikson seems to be the person he was before his trip to Elizabetta.
" Oh, it will be interesting Bro, all this culture, the architecture..."
" And all this handsome Elven Nobles."
" Hey, that's not fair..."
" Stop it now you two, you are representing the crown honestly." The queen interrupted before Hilda could speak more.
" That's right, also it seems that we will on the ground shortly." With a last look the queen inquired if all of them were presentable and nodded in approval.
The landing stage leaded to a red carpet and the herald proclaimed there arrival.
" King Erik Eirikson IV Ruler of Phoenixia, Gryphonia, Dragonia, the isle of sky and all colonies Protector of the innocence, sword of the realm and Victor over Rokforoktora and Torogomora ! Queen Hilde Eirikson, Duchess of Gryphonia ! Crown Prince Frederik Eirikson, Duke of New Hope and shield of the realm ! Princess Hilda Eirikson duchess of Dragonia and light of the realm ! Dragon-Lord Black Tail, ambassador of the elder council !"
With each name the person stepped out of the Airship, waiting for the welcome delegation.

The Mcnernian Party

The Mcnernian group consisted of His Imperial and Royal Majesty King Emilion IV. His wife Queen Silvarianna, their two daughters and His Grace Lord Attleham on of the Kings lords. The King looked out at the city, he smiled to his wife and his Lord.

"Wonderful city that elves have."

"I would be inclined to agree Your Majesty."

The King was interested to be in the Elven Imperium. The King would be going to Celebature for a space summit if the various things that were going on were all lineing up. The King looked at his wife to gauge her reaction.

The Kings aircraft flew overhead as the Royal party neared the weddding area.

Outside of the Airanomo Palace (Tiberius and Leona):

The last year was an eventful one for the members of the Imperium Imperial Family. Between their exile to the Holy Empire of Constannia to forming the Aluvean Crown Alliance with fellow nations across the region, both Tiberius and Leona had learned much about themselves and also about their allies. Since their first meeting with Princess Marina and Prince Tiberius, both Emperor Tiberius and Crown Princess Leona had found few friends and family among their allies. Emperor Tiberius had the pleasure to meet Duchess Ardrelia of the Empire and Dane Selena of the Kingdom during the past year and was scheduled to be married to them both this upcoming week. Meanwhile, Leona was to marry Prince Russell from Constannia this week also as he had become sisters with Princess Marina and had fallen in love with Russell during her family's exile. For the two of them, this was going to be a joyous occasion.

As their carriage rode towards the palace, Emperor Tiberius sat beside his two finances in Ardrelia and Selena while Leona sat by herself looking out the window. As the carriage finally came up to the palace, the four of them exited and were greeted by Princess Marina. Before Marina could speak, however, Leona rushed up to her and hugged her as she spoke. "Sister, it has been to long. It's a great day to see you again Marina." As Leona continued to hug Marina, Tiberius and his finances came up and greeted themselves to Marina's parents while Leona and Marina talked...........

Outside of the Airanomo Palace (Francis and his party):

While Emperor Tiberius went forward to greet himself to the bride to be and her parents, Lord Admiral Francis Kissinger and his party was just arriving at the palace. Francis was the commander to his emperor's loyalist forces and was a battle brother and dear friend of Tiberius. While he exited the carriage, Francis reflected on the year that had past and the events that had lead him to be here today. As with Tiberius, Francis had found love and marriage as he had married Princess Vera of the Drow Kingdom and Noblewomen Amirra of the Drow Kingdom. Also, both his wives and himself had adopted and accepted their mistress in Anala from the Sea Elf Kingdom as she was a reminder of their lost innocence and love for one another. With the past year, Francis had fought for his emperor and his nation for the complete backing of the Empire for them to support the loyalist forces to liberate the Imperium. It wasn't an easy battle, but Francis had succeeded and in the process had gain acceptance into his wive's families. As they arrived at the palace, the four of them decided to wait and have conversation among themselves before they went and introduced themselves to the party...........

(OOC: Francis and his characters will be playing a minor role in this rp as the focus of my group will be on Tiberius and Leona).

It had been a long flight from Drakonia, the tightness of the quarters on the cabin that was strapped to the back of the great Drakonian who served as their transport. A kindly beast centuries old, the female was willing to take the royal trio out to the wedding in a rather odd of a place. Princess Jilyah had spent much of the time staring out the window, letting the wind blow through the braided raven hair that flowed from her scaly head around the horns that stuck out of the top.

When they had arrived at the airport (an odd place for a Regulus to land), the three Drakonians declined the carriage ride, instead using their Gods-given wings for good use. Soon, they had arrived at their destination and proceeded to land. The three approached the city, unaccustomed to such architecture, being used to the great ancient halls of stone and masonry which had been built through the centuries.

Kreml, son of Aidron the Elder, the Paladin of Ice and Fire, was clad in rich extravagant robes of varying shades of red with a midnight blue cloak covering his back. It contrasted well with his dark green scales and golden eyes. Jilyah, meanwhile, was dressed in a beautiful gown of blue which showed a bit of her upper chest, just enough for her golden necklace festooned with jewels. The braids in her hair flowed down to her chest, just shy of her bosom. Geana, meanwhile, donned the silver armor of the Paladins, with a great rigid sword in a huge sheath strapped to her back. Her black and red scales contrasted well with the armor, little changed from five hundred years ago. In her powerful claws, she beheld a jewel-encrusted case which contained the gift for the Royal Couple.

The trio made their way towards the palace, easily towering over the other guests that would be there. No one said a thing as they neared the Palace, all three youngsters (by Drakonian standards, of course) were rather nervous about how this would go down. None of them had ever been to a royal wedding before, or at least a foreign one held by Humanoids. Well, they just had to see how this would go on.

The Atomoseans were actually on time for once. The packing, plane ride, and unpacking had passed without incident, thank God, and Patron Anastas and his Secretary of State were on their way to Teuveamanthaar.

One would think that a return to her strict expectations of punctuality would finally soothe Madame Secretary's oft-frayed nerves.

"One" would also be entirely incorrect.

"...I just want to get one last run through of the checklist before we arrive."

"Gee whiz, Miss Sara! Again?"

"Luck favors the prepared, Patron Anastas."

"If Luck is anything like me, she's also put off by the paranoid, Secretary Khalil."

"Please, Sir. Just once more. Extra clothing, just in case?"

"Check."

"Elven etiquette books?"

"Check."

"Wedding gift?"

Patron Anastas' look of annoyance vanished. He quickly rifled through his breast pockets, then his pants pockets. "OH, MY STARS AND BARS!" Sara clutched her heart. Anastas pulled a small box from the pocket of his coat lying on the seat next to him. "Golly Miss Sara, calm down! I knew it was here the whole time. Its location didn't change from when we packed to when we took off to when we landed. What makes you think it would change now?"

Sara straightened her headscarf and cleared her throat. "Well, I was just-" Anastas spoke slowly: "Caaalm yourseeelf, wooomaaan. Look out the windows. Smell the fresh air. Relax." Sara complied, taking a few deep breaths and admiring the countryside. "Subhan'Allah."* The Patron smiled. "Good. I also took the liberty of getting an extra refill on your blood pressure medication."

"Alhamdulillah."**

Down from the heavens, the Kaldaran craft came screaming back into the atmosphere. Having recently embraced the Thaman idea of comfort, the delegates were traveling in a modified mobile command ship as opposed to being strapped into a dropship like usual.

"My Emperor, we have successfully stabilized and are making our descent into Elven airspace as we speak." the pilot said over the intercom.
"Good" the Emperor said, his powerful voice echoing throughout the chamber. "Make sure to inform the airport of our presence."
"Yes my Emperor!"

Adan leaned forward in his seat, happy to feel the pull of gravity again. His mind focused on the events to come.
"Relax my love, you'll do fine." Lucia said, taking his hand. "After all you've accomplished, I doubt you will have any trouble sitting through a wedding."
"It's not the wedding I'm worried about," Adan said, "this is our first real step outside of our homeland."
"What about Thama?" Lucia replied.
"Thama was our ally long before we set foot their soil. These are nations that have yet to form an opinion on us. We must try our best to make a good impression."
"And you will." Lucia said with a smile.
"My Emperor, we will be landing shortly."

Syranian Airport, Syleru

The sun shone radiantly over Syleru through broken cumulus clouds high up into the atmosphere, it was one of those few Syleruian days without pouring rain over it's cities and vast expanses of rainforest. Even though Syrania was relatively close to a local rainforest, the usual chirping, squawking and howling of the varies bird and monkey species weren't droning quite as loudly today. Thousands of solar powered railway cars zoomed through the city, following pre-calculated courses to wherever the hell the citizen felt like going, most of them to their place of work. The airport was also quite quiet, with the only real important flight going on was the one heading to the Elven Imperium's wedding, which was soon going to depart.

"Hurry up Reginald! We don't want to late now, do we!" an older lady, by the name of Victoria called to her longtime friend and fellow representative. "I'm coming! I know you don't want to keep Chris waiting!" he responded in ragged breathes as he ran toward the sleek hydrogen-solar low-orbit jet. He wasn't the slimmest individual so even that 30m dash was enough to get him panting. He boarded the plane and the door slipped shut. The pilot, an agent in Syleru's policing department, began warming the hydrogen fuel cells. "Solar levels at 100%, sir. Hydrogen cells will be warmed in a minute." the pilot said in a low, monotone voice. Christopher nodded, he always was a man of few words.

The second the cells were charged the pilot thrusted the throttle forward and twisted a bunch of nobs and checked a bunch of readings. The plane sped down the runway and took off straight at the end. It pointed almost straight up, and was still increasing speed, the passengers were almost experiencing 2-3 Gs at the moment. It took a dozen minutes or so but the plane finally was in lower orbit. "Still surprises me how fast it takes to get the ground to space these days." Reginald huffed, "Switching to solar energy." the pilot remarked quietly as he made the switch. The plane suddenly quieted down boatloads and the passengers were free to move around.

To entertain themselves they played logic puzzles and quick board game classics for the thirty minutes to took to reach the Imperium. The plane slowly descended downward and a calm and resting pace, unlike the first few minutes of shocking speed and height gain. They landed in the Imperium's finest city, the one hosting the wedding obviously. "Do you have the cheque for एn5000?" Xavier asked Amanda, who was arguably the most responsible of the quartet. "In fact I do, Xav! Although I'm not sure what it's worth in the Elven currency. We never really had much of a formal relation with them." she noticed. "Well we might as well start now, darling." Victoria responded optimistically.

Teuveamanthaar Airport, Elven Imperium

The representatives marvelled at the city, although they all agreed it wasn't as grande as say, Syleru, it still was something to be gawked at. "For once we're away from the constant squawking of our national bird." Xavier sighed, "And to believe my son has one as a pet, too!" he added. "Oh shush, Xav!" Victoria whispered. The representatives were all close friends, but like any good friends, they bickered, a lot.

Christopher was silent through most of the trudge to the Imperium's royal palace. The elven people stared quite persistently, making him feel uncomfortable, he coughed slightly as a sort of 'don't look at me or I will kill you' sort of hint. They didn't catch on. Christopher wasn't exactly the game-playing fellow, and was in fact almost always serious. He adjusted his tie as they just about entered the palace. He was hopeful that this wedding could extend their relations, and perhaps create a potential ally. All that mattered though would happen beyond those large ornate doors.

"Maximus Veon Constannia! Stop showing off doing barrel rolls with the airship or whatever nonsense it is you're up to, or so help me I'll bring Irene along the next time we go to a state function!" Her Imperial Highness, Crown Princess Susan Lucy Van Constannia-Skyriknir cried as she walked onto the bride of the airship where her nephew was at the helm. She was 51 years old, with shoulder-length black hair, pretty blue eyes, and a firm, confident tone to her voice. Maximus clearly responded to the threat. "It's turbulence Aunt Susan, honestly! Just don't bring that terrible woman along!" The young Prince answered. The 'terrible woman' Maximus was referring to was actually his cousin, Princess Irene. She was born only a few weeks before Maximus, and their entire family had never been able to tell whether or not they were the best of friends, or the worst of enemies, given their constant teasing of one another, as well as the numerous, memorable pranks they had pulled on each other over the years.

"Turbulence or no turbulence, I'm getting airsick! So either you tell the wind to go stuff it, or the next party in New Edom you go you'll have Irene telling every embarrassing story about you to every guest there, do you hear me!" The Crown Princess threatened again, although the humoured grin on her face revealed her lack of intent on carrying out her 'threat'. "Oh, quit scolding poor Maximus dear. Here laddie, have a toffee," A kind, old motherly voice said as an old woman walked up to Maximus, pulling a toffee out of her purse and handing it to him. "Mother, do you always have sweets with you?" Princess Susan chuckled. "A grandmother should always have sweets for her grandchildren. Hopefully you do? After all, how old is Roland now? Nearly three years old?" Princess Susan nodded, though it was surprising how fast her grandson was growing up already. "Well, we're going to land now anyways, so you won't have to worry about the wind now Aunt Susan," Maximus stated, still chewing on the delicious toffee. With a salute to the crew the Prince walked off the command bridge along with his Aunt and Grandmother.

Carriage ride over
The Constannian representatives had to take multiple carriages, due to the size of their delegation, which numbered around a dozen. After the twenty or so minutes that it took for the carriages to get from the airport to the palace, the carriages came to an orderly, stop, and from the first one stepped out a tall Constannian, with short brown hair that was beginning to show slight hints of greying, dark brown eyes, and a short but complete beard. The 6'7 man was the groom's father, His Imperial Majesty, Holy Emperor Charles Richard Von Constannia VIII. He held the carriage door open, and helped out his wife, Her Imperial Majesty, Holy Empress Lily Violettia Van Constannia I. She was a few years younger than her husband, though also in her early fifties, but you could hardly tell at first glance. She stood at 6'3, a good height for Constannian women, and her figure seemed like it belonged to a woman in her thirties instead of fifties. Her blonde hair went down about halfway down her back, and her light blue eyes matched her hair well. After the Holy Emperor's wife came his sister, Crown Princess Susan, then his mother, Empress-Mother Maria Van Constannia I.

From the second carriage his children exited next. Crown Prince Edward helped his wife Victoria out of the carriage, and the newly wed couple smiled as they walked over to where the older Constanian Royalty was. Prince Maximus hopped out the carriage, confidently walking up to the rest of the party, followed by his younger brother, Prince Russell James Von Constannia III. While Russell's older brothers all had brown hair, brown eyes, and were a dignified 'proper' height, all being at least over 6'3, Russell had blonde hair, blue eyes, and only stood at 5'11". He was also the only one of his brothers not in his twenties, since he was only 17. The other Constannians exited their carriages, and walked up to the Wood Elf palace, with one of the Princes walking quicker than usual. "Getting impatient, eh son?" Holy Emperor Charles asked to the tall, bulky young man beside him. "Yes, you're right about that Father," Prince Tiberius answered, the normally stoic Prince now grinning and barely able to contain himself from charging up to the palace and kissing his bride, ignoring every one of the foreign guests here. "Calm down Tiberius, it's rather odd seeing you get this giddy, even if it is your wedding," said Tiberius's twin, Crown Prince Edward, trying to maintain his usual air of dignity and formality.

The Constannian guests, all twelve of them, approached where Marina and her parents were receiving the guests. Prince Tiberius bolted over to where Marina was, embracing her and spinning around once before kissing her. Russell was a bit behind his older brother, walking up to Princess Leona and smiling. "Hello Leona, it's nice to see you again," the young Prince said. It still seemed surreal to him that within a week he would be married to her.

Meanwhile, the other Constannian guests had approached Marina's parents and Emperor Tiberius, bowing or curtsying as they introduced themselves. "You weren't like that with my little Rose, were you?" Lord General Gordon Brinford whispered to Prince Edward, who chuckled and shook his head. "I did no such thing to your angelic daughter, Uncle Gordon, though she tried doing that to me constantly ..." Victoria laughed a little and shook her head, although she winked slyly at her husband.

"Damn... We're late!" muttered the veteran Sybarite.
"No worries honorable one, for we have arrived," a young Kabalite warrior replied.
"Excellent," the veteran motioned.

The locals of the imperium bore witness to a giant airship docking at a port, and three fully cloaked Sommorraghai warriors (adorning three swords each, adorning armour, scarfs, strange religious symbols, texts, many more exotic items, and guns) walking briskly through the crowds. As they made their way to the imperial Capital, heads turned as locals heard a language unlike any other.

5 hours later....

The three warriors were unhappy or say the least. To them horses were what pigs were to Islamic people, the very thought of being within 50 meters of one would revolt any Sommorraghai to the core. But alas, they would put up with it. Their only consolation was the promise of a gladiatorial fight.

At the main entrance of the Wood Elven city

Finally they arrived.

"Good day my fellow soldiers," the old Sybarite spoke, "Fear us not, for we have come for the wedding, here is our Der'shij... sorry I meant to say invitation".
"Go on in," replied the guard.
"We shall my young friend, we shall," he replied.

As the men moved on, all near them shuddered in fear. Their killing intent was unmatched, to them such an atmosphere and attitude was natural and a necessity, but to the locals of the Imperium these strange warriors looked like fearsome and young grey demons with long ears.

The skies above Haelema Airport, Tal'en'Quessir, Elven Imperium

The massive 878 Jet plane, Royale class, soared through the air relativeley silently and peacefully, much like a bird on the wind. The 'Mesairi' was the Royal Families delegation plane, it had travelled all throughout the Aluvean to various Nations and Island Nations. But today would be the first time it had ever graced the Imperium's lands. Although it had been centuries the Mesairien's still had reservations about this trip, hence why three fully armed Mesairien Rangers had been sent along as Royal bodyguards for the first time in centuries. A role that had been stripped from their general duties after they led a rebellion against the Mesairien Empire.
The Prince, Princess and three Ranger Bodyguards were sat in the Royal Cabin, a long , large and regal suite at the top of the plane. Underneath them sat several security decks, today they were filled with only minimal support officers but usually over 150 men would be onboard to fight off any potential boarding parties.

"When we're there you stick to the Princess, don't let her out of your sight, you got that?" Master Veron, an Elven man who looked about 25 but was infact more like 250 years old, said in a calm and quiet voice as he discussed the plan to safeguard the Prince and Princess in the Imperium with his fellow Rangers. Like most Effenmont Elves, Veron didn't particularly trust nor like the Imperium and leading this bodyguard delegation was the last thing he wanted to do, but since Grandmaster Thorpe was busy in Zenitath he had been forced to, being the second senior officer. As such, he was determined to do this properly.
"Roger that, don't worry I won't let you down boss." Ranger Karen Vilechi, a 24 year old Human female with Aubern hair that came to her shoulders and crisp blue eyes, replied in her usual soft tone. Veron nodded in response and turned his attention to Kerica Ai Sun, an 18 year old Human female with grass green eyes and pitch black hair that was tied into a small ponytail at the back of her head, Ai had quite literally just finished her initiation into the Rangers just one week prior.

"I want you on the Prince at all times too, at no time do you let him wander off alone with anyone. Not even when he finds the maid he's certain to try and bed and attempt to lose you." Veron said in a much more serious tone, the 19 year old prince had a habit of running into a crowd and losing his ordinary Bodyguards, putting himself and other party-goers at risk all so he could attempt to bed the closest woman with low or no inhibitions and is dumb enough to sleep with a Mesairien Prince - someone with no power or even real status in Mesairien what-so-ever.

Ai nodded back shyly in response and Veron gave a half smile and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'll be running overwatch from a distance and keep my eyes on both of you and the Imperium's royalty. Plus I managed to commandeer a thermal imaging satellite to help us keep track of things, just incase." He said in a re-assuring tone, Ai immediatly perked up and smiled slightly back at him.

"Oh quit worrying, it's not like we're at war with these people!" Came a voice from across the large cabbin. Prince Haru had been the source of the voice, he was lying half on his layed down chair and half on the wooden desk infront of him playing with his Retiko Gaming Device.
"We may not be at war but this is the Imperium your highness. I wouldn't put anything past them, I'll have you know I served with Grandmaster Tikus during the Ranger Rebellion and..." Veron was about to go into a big rant about how the Rangers had split during their rebellion and that the Imperium had swooped in to take Veron and Tikus' places at Thorpe's side but he was swiftly cut off by the 21 year old Princess Kimi Mau, she was wandering in to the sitting section of the Royal cabin from her bedroom at the rear of the plane.

"Master Veron, I appreciate your dedication to protecting us but this is NOT the Ranger Rebellion, the Imperium isn't going to attack you for staying true to the 'glorious' Mesairien Empire" She said in a very commanding and strong tone of voice, motioning with her fingers to indicate she was being sarcastic when using the word glorious. Kimi stopped at the side of Veron.
"The fact is the Imperium helped my family get the throne back and become a protectorate again, what we are meant to be. I doubt they'll try and attack us at a wedding, Mesairien has some high tech weaponry now, so much so that a war between our two peoples once more would be suicidal for both sides. Now please do your job and don't try to interfere with foreign relations." She added in a harsh voice with a relatively angry expression of her face before storming over to a seat near Haru.

Veron sighed in response, this was going to be one heck of a long visit. He was actually glad Kimi wasn't next for the throne, she was far too trusting in these natural Mesairien enemies.

Several hours of awkward silences later, the plane came in for it's landing at the airport.

On the ground the Mesairien's exited the plane in their most lavish attire, the princess wore a silver dress that came down to several centimetres below her knees with golden inlining and small black coat over her top half. The Prince was wearing a black pinstripe suit with a grey tie and the Ranger's Golden Eagle medal on his chest, of course this medal was his grandfather's but the boy wore it with mixed pride and honor.
The three Rangers however decided not to wear their ceremonial uniforms, the old Mesairien War suits that had been used back in the days of Queen Akemi and the begining of the New Age, and instead chose their modern day combat attire. Black and Grey fatigues covered by a Dark Brown Kevlar jacket, they ditched the helmets for now though.
All three of them had melee weaponry strapped to their backs, Ai's Zenitathean Katana, Karen's Gaien Axe and Veron had his trusty Elven shortsword.

Now they waited for an Elven delegation to come and pick them up while the small amount of security and air hostess staff that had come onboard the Mesairi unloaded the small amount of luggage, ready to be loaded onto this carriage they were supposed to take to the Elven Palace.

Haelema Airport, Tal'en'Quessir, Elven Imperium

Selina helped Alyssa from the plane and into the carriage, but that was about the extent of their interaction. For having so much interaction in politics, the two always are surrounded by a tense silence, as if they hated each other. Selina only slightly disliked her almost permanent accomplice. She viewed her as weak and unreliable. She relied on her emotions and trust in other people too much to ever be good. She occasionally wishes she had never take Selinopolis as a protectorate. The carriage ride was long, and felt even longer with Alyssa non ending rambles about the scenery and how nice the place looked. It was a serene environment, she saw it as a great place for an Assassin. The other two Assassins on either side seemed to look at her and nod, as if they new what she was thinking.

When they arrived at the palace it was a grand sight. Alyssa was awestruck, and gasped when she saw it. "Please don't act this way in front of the others, try to not embarrass me." she asked. Alyssa shot her a look of mixed resentment and sadness. They both opened the door and waited to see the king.

When Selina helped her down from the plane and into the carriage, Alyssa wondered what her plan was. Selina was never kind to her, not mean, but seemed to bear a dislike for her. She tries to make The Mentor like her, but it never seems to work. She wondered if she would ever truly be accepted.

Every attempt seems to have the opposite effect. During the carriage ride, Alyssa marveled at the majestic scenery, but as she ooh and awed, she noticed Selina eyeing her with a a look of disgust. Alyssa met her gaze, feeling both angry at her for hating her so unfairly, and hurt that she bore a grudge with no explanation. She began to wonder why she came to this wedding. To promote diplomatic relations. said the invite. Almost like the diplomacy when her father was killed by an Assassin that placed her nation in the shadow of the much larger Demincia. She knew her nation was not strong enough to convince them to let them run themselves. She ran her nation now mostly, though always under the watchful eye of Selina.

When the palace was in sight Alyssa was awestruck. It was a marvelous sight, nothing like she had ever seen. While she was gawking, Selina made a plea to not embarrass her. Alyssa met this with another glare stronger than the one before. The grand door opened, revealing the contents.

Queen Ariana arrived at the palace wearing her favorite light blue gown trimmed with silver. Her brown hair was inn a half updo and she stepped out of the limo holding the hand of a tall man with blue eyes and blond hair. "Well, we're here." she breathed. Her husband, the recently crowned King of Sankara his native country, was awestruck. "Wow, it's really nice here. I'm excited to learn about Elves and their culture. Ariana gave her husband a dazzling smile. "Well, come on Michael, let's go meet our hosts. A small boy and girl walked behind the couple, who were holding very young girls in their arms. Behind the queen and her consort and the royal children stepped out two women. The first had striking features and she dressed in a lush red velvet gown trimmed with gold that accentuated her figure, but was still modest enough for dress code. Her black hair fell in ringlets and her golden eyes looked around curiously. After her, a pretty woman in a purple and green gown followed. Her red hair was pinned up behind a gold tiara set with topaz and amethyst and her green eyes twinkled with curiosity. Soon they all made their way to the palace and took a spot.

Strolling on foot through the dense forest had been a good idea Elendil thought. Their two figures blended perfectly with the shadows cast by the sun under the canopy of trees. Elendil Helyanwe walked straight and proud. Her mottled green tunic, dark green pants, mottled cloak, and black boots were matched by her apprentice, Ley, who walked beside her. With cowls drawn over their head, they were able to sneak past all the welcoming celebrations and find peace in the lavish forests of the Imperium. They continued forward, the fallen leaves only giving the barest of crackles as their trained feet tread lightly on the forest floor.

"Elen, I hear another carriage." Ley whispered, quietly her head turned looking at the road to their side.

Elendil cocked her ear and listened as well. She too could hear the horses' hooves clomping on the dirt road and the jostling of their bridles. Silently, the two sneaked closer to the side of the road and like shadows watches as a carriage rolled by carrying people within.

"Well, we mustn't be far now. Come, Ley." Elendil said as they now ran along the road after carriage. After a short while they arrived at the palace gates. Elendil produced both the invitation and their papers granting them diplomatic immunity. They were waved through without hassle then.

"Stick close to me, Ley. These royals can sometimes be less than friendly towards us elves." Elendil warned as she walked towards the large welcoming area in front of the palace. A large crowd was there, a large variety of bright colors and glowing armor.

"Elen, shall we introduce ourselves?" LEy asked, eyeing the Imperium family who stood near the foot of the steps.

"Ley, what have I taught you? Always take careful notice of your surroundings. Now tell me what do you see?" Elendil asked, as she listened to her own advice, scanning the crowd from beneath her cowl.

Ley looked closely and took notice that several members had bodyguards and retainers with them, some of them armed. "Some of the royals are armed as well as their fellows, but nothing too troubling it seems. There's only swords and daggers."

Elen smiled at her young apprentice. "I'm not interested so much as in the weapons they carry, but who wields them." The two carried on like this. They stood a little aways from the large bustle of the crowd and Elendil quizzed her young apprentice...

Constaniana wrote:The Constannian guests, all twelve of them, approached where Marina and her parents were receiving the guests.

As Leona had finished hugging Marina, she quickly noticed Russell and ran up to him as she jumped into his arms and started kissing him. It had only been three weeks since she had last seen him, but since that time Leona had changed in many ways thanks in part to the dragon blood that now ran through her veins. As she kissed him, Leona could feel her blood boil as she wanted them to be married already, but she showed enough restraint not to take things further. If Russell was looking at her, he would have noticed Leona's body had became more toned and well developed with her once blue eyes now had turned into a beautiful crimson red..........

As Leona was busy with Russell, Tiberius and his finances introduced themselves again to Holy Emperor Charles and to the rest of the Constannian delegation before Tiberius spoke up again. "My friends, it is great to see you all again for this joyous occasion. Before I forget, let me introduce you all to my finances. Most of you know Duchess Ardrelia of the Empire. However, I would like to introduce my other finance, Dame Selena of the Kingdom of Phoenixia." As Tiberius finished, his two finances bowed a bit before exchanging handshakes with the guests as they waited for a response.............

In the clear blue sky, about 100 kilometres from the city of Tal'en'Quessir flew a giant jet, around 231 feet long, and 63 feet high. In it were three of the Royal Family of Daragal, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

King Daga lay on his king-sized bed, in the middle of a large cabin. He lazily read through the latest Time magazine, as he waited for his family to arrive. Around him the lavish cabin was stunning. Although surprisingly simple, it's oak panelling, and the desk, bed and closet were all incredibly beautiful, demonstrating the wealth and power of it's inhabitant. He sighed, and jumped off his bed, slowly making his way over to his magnificent mahogany desk. He sat down and opened the laptop sitting there, making his way through the various reports in his emails, and replying to each one, most being from his ministers or senators from the House of Representatives, asking for his support or approval on various topics. He was on the 27th one, talking about the need for a more streamlined administrative system, when the door to his cabin opened, and one of his personal gaurds poked his head through.
"Your Grace, your son's are here to see you."
King Daga smiled, and got up from the desk. He made his way through the open door into a large lounge area, where two young men and a middle aged man sat on the various sofa's.
The King nodded to the two gaurds, who quickly left. He then made his way over to a Lay-Z-Boy and sat down.
"So, what happens when we get there?" He said, directing the question to the middle aged man.
Peter Garadeigal, the Darag Minister of Foreign Affairs, stood as the King asked his question, and made his way over to a large flat screen TV. He turned it on, and using a remote he flicked through until he reached the pictures he was looking for.
"Okay, this is an image of the city the wedding is going to be held at, it is named Teuveamanthaar, quite a mouthful to say the least. It is populated mainly be elves, however as a result of the conference I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few humans as well." He flicked to the next picture.
"This is an image of the couple to be married. Prince Tiberius von Constaniana, and Princess Falmarinaviel Ap Tauren'ohtar." He chuckled. "They have been courting for a while, and have finally decided to marry. Now, once we touch down at the elven capital of Tal'en'Quessir, we will be transported by carriage to Teuveamanthaar, and will be taken to either the palace or the hotel." He turned to face the younger man. "Prince Charles, the elven Princess Korianna will be attending this conference as well, so you would be best to keep an eye out. Any questions?"
The two princes, Crown Prince Thomas and Prince Charles, looked blank, and King Daga chuckled. He stood up and walked over to the min-bar in the corner, puuring himself a lemon-lime and bitters.
"It seems like you have everything under control, as always Peter, so all we need do now is wait till we touch down."

Haelema Airport, Tal'en'Quessir, Elven Imperium
The Imperial family stepped down from the Strato Cruzer which had carried them for hours to take part in such an auspicious occasion. As they stepped down, they were greeted by Elven staff which directed them to their official transportation which would move them across the country the during their stay at the Elven Imperium. After having passed through customs, and done all the paperwork required upon entering the country, the Imperial family immediately entered their carriage and left for the wedding.

"Remember to look presentable, greet formally and politely, and congratulate the wife and husband to-be."

"Dad, we know, we're only forty you know."

"Um, yeah. But still, its not bad to be reminded. Here we come, you get off first Samuel."

The Lyncanestrian family finally arrived at Airanomo Palace got off the limousine one by one, with the Emperor being last following his wife. They made their way across the bridge and mingled with many of the guests in attendance. After meandering for a while greeting heads of state and the like, the Emperor moved towards the bride and approached her with his wife and two of his Imperial guards, which held in their hand the antique clock which was brought as a gift. Emperor tipped his hat (figuratively, as he was not wearing an actual hat) to Princess Falmarinaveil and then said,

Your Highness, we hope for you a happy marriage and that you may accept this small token of our goodwill on behalf of me and the people of Lyncanestria.

At the Teuveamanthaar Palace Gates, Elven Imperium

As they waited for the ones who were supposed to be on time to greet, to break the ice Reginald struck up a conservation. "Lovely weather in the Imperium, don't you say, Victoria?" he remarked to his equally intellectual counterpart, Victoria. "Indeed it is, Reggie. Much better than the two hundredsome days of rain the homelands get, bothersome to say the least." she said back. "Quite. Maybe if the Imperium allows it, I could buy a cottage by the lakeside to remind me of my childhood down by Imperium waters." Reginald chuckled at the nostalgia, he had terrible long term memory for he could only vaguely remember bits and pieces of his childhood.

As the two talked on about more mature topics like politics and the upcoming wedding, Amanda was sitting down and simply staring at the beautiful sky. "It rather surprises me how traditionalistic the Elven Imperium is about environmental balance, we're pretty forceful about our environmental protection." she muttered to Xavier, who was quietly counting the seconds go by. "Yeah, its quite remarkable." he yawned back. Even with the supersonic sub-orbital jets they still experienced quite a bit of jet lag, they did leave at evening after all. It was the afternoon and the representatives were beginning to feel a little drowsy.

But still they powered through the wait, gawking at the mud roads, the carved wood columns and the small green ornate temples or buildings or whatever they were. The palace too was quite the sight, although many times smaller than the average Syleruian skyscraper, the ancient architecture and mossy stone was still something to be regarded, and was quite comfortable to rest your back against, as the young Amanda was doing. The four were quite used to conformity and absolute seriousness in the homelands but when in other nations they could finally kick up their feet and lollygag around a little.

Over by the landing pad where the jet was parked, Christopher and the Pilot - 7HPOGF462 as he was known by his identification serial number were carefully manhandling the slip of paper worth exactly $7000 dollars out of the jet's main entrance. Christopher ushered the representatives ahead to introduce themselves and to get acquainted with the Elven people there. Christopher's primary goal however, was to get the darned slip of paper out of the main entrance and to the palace to be set for the gift-giving.

The queen slowly approached the soon to be married couple. She and her ladies gave a curtsy and her husband bowed. "Your Highnesses." "It is a pleasure to be invited today and my family and I sincerely wish you every joy and happiness." I am Ariana, Queen Regnant of Nuridia." "Hello, I'm Michael, the queen's husband and King of Sankara." The young king introduced himself. The queen and prince were still holding their young daughters in their arms. A little redheaded girl and dark haired boy bowed to them. Ariana laughed. "These are our eldest children, Prince Paul and Princess Tabitha. These are the Princesses Ileana and Imogen." She gestured to the little girls she and her husband held. The lady in red velvet was carrying a very young infant. The queen placed the two year old on her feet and picked up the infant. "This is our youngest, Princess Irene. She was born a week ago." Most people were shocked back home at how their twenty four year old queen could handle a country, a husband, and five young children at once. The black haired lady in red walked up and gave a curtsy. "Hello, I am Duchess Selene van Roschmann, the queen's friend." A petite red haired lady with a delicate and pretty face walked up and curtsied, her purple and green gown rustling. "Hello, your Highnesses." "I am Lady Ruby Katerina Drace, but you may call me Ruby." "I am Duchess Selene's cousin." Mirth shone in Ruby's green eyes and Selene's golden ones swept around the room as she went to place their gifts on the table.

To Haktiva

The carriage ride to the Wood Elven capital was peaceful and quiet. It was not total uneventful. As they pass Elven villages, Elven villagers came out of the woodwork to view them. They talked and whisper among themselves as they saw the carriage carrying the Haktivans move pass them. The maidens of villages gave friend cute smiles at carriage trying to entice Isadore or the sleeping Alex. The Elven males of the village gave Kirimi smiles and waved at her as she passed there view. In all the villagers where enchanted by the sight of the humans. There presence giving a new experience to the Elven villagers.

When the carriage reach Teuveamanthaar, The Haktivans thought the enter a fantasy movie. The houses and the tree surrounding them seem to be on in many places. Elven citizens look at the Havtivans with both curious and amusement. They continue on there daily activities, just stopping for a few moments to look at the strangers. The carriage move through the city. The Haktivans got a wonderful view of the Elven city before heading out of the city. The carriage continue for a few miles, reaching a Elven palace in the woods.

When they reach the palace, it was a buzz of activities and lights. People,Elven and otherwise where entering the palace. The carriage let the Havtivans out in front of the palace and drove off. When the Havtivans enter the palace they where greeted by a herald who announce their presence. The group walk for ward and where met by a hulking giant of an a elf and Elven queen. The herald introduce the Haktivans to the Coronel and queen of Earlann. The bear that was the Coronel spoke. "Welcome to the wedding reception. It is a honor to meet you all. Please enjoy the party" He said with a bow.

The Haktivans bowed in return. "Thank you your majesty", Isadore replied, speaking for his children as well. They walked past the rulers to survey the situation, as well as look for snacks, bathrooms, and exits should the need arise.

"Wow, these royal types are pretty unusual hu?", Kirimi asked, looking around at the unfamiliar scene.
"You mean the air of self importance and holier-than-thou attitudes?", Isadore asked his daughter, still smoking.
"Yes", Kirimi replied.

Alex didn't join in on the conversation, he was too tired to care. He kept his eyes open just enough to be aware if his surroundings, though it wasn't much.
All around disagreeable person.

"Personal freedom is a double edged sword though. On the one end, it grants more power to the individual. However, the vast majority of individuals are fuckin idiots, and if certain restraints are not metered down by more responsible members of society, the society quickly degrades into a hedonistic and psychotic cluster fuck."

Prince Russell chuckled as he broke the kiss with Leona, though his cheeks were reddening. "Well you're certainly in a good mood," He looked at Leona, noticing differences, some subtle, and some...less so. "Wow Leona, you look great! Did you...uh..get a spa treatment or something?"

The rest of the Constannians took Emperor Tiberius's announcement with mixed feelings, though none of them showed it on their expressions. After all, for a people as monogamous as Constannians, who rarely re-married except in cases of adultery and early deaths, the concept of polygamy was at the very least odd, and some far-right conservatives would label it an abomination, though thankfully people as extreme as that rarely rose to prominence in Constannia. "Well, it's lovely to meet you, Dame Selena. I hope your marriage to Emperor Tiberius goes well for you," said Holy Emperor Charles after they shook hands.

Prince Tiberius put down Marina as the guests approached them with gifts and blessings. The tall prince bowed to the Nuridians and the Lyncanestrians. This queen certainly has good company. I just hope Maximus doesn't cause a scene with these women... Tiberius thought. Sometimes his younger brother Maximus could go too far with his flirting, but hopefully he would be able to restrain himself at his older brother's own wedding. He had been fine at Edward's, although that one hadn't had as many foreign guests in attendance, and he already knew most of the high class women back in the Fatherland. "It's a pleasure to meet all of you," he said to Queen Ariana, her family and her friends. "It's a fine looking clock Your Majesty" He then said to the Lyncanestrian Emperor.

The other Constannians began to disperse, wondering which guests they should talk to. Though there would be plenty if time for that, so they weren't too concerned about finding conversation partners.

Kudos.
