[SUBMITTED] Condemn The 47 percent

The World Assembly Security Council,

ASSERTING that The 47 percent is a nation comprised of freeloading slackers, dependent on their national government's social welfare programs,

DISGUSTED that its population refuses to take responsibility for either their personal or business lives, as evidenced by its unionized work force constantly striking, and the national auto industry soaking up huge government handouts,

BELIEVING that The 47 percent is a detrimental influence on the entire United States region,

CONCERNED that The 47 percent further sets a bad example for the world community at large,

HEREBY condemns The 47 percent

Hi, gosh, so I guess I should have posted this here before submitting it? I just want to make sure it's not illegal before my SuperPAC starts advertising for it. I'm running a campaign, for Pete's sake!

I believe that this condemnation shouldn't have been submitted. Just because a nation has large social welfare program along with high intelligence and healthcare doesn't mean they're freeloading slackers. They're just developing, kind of like the third-world countries in the Middle East, minus the social welfare programs.

Should this proposal reach quorum,

The joke proposal rule has always been a judgement call, and my view is that this one is acceptable. It's based on actual NS content (see the description/national happenings of The 47 percent), and is humourous rather than completely ridiculous.

As I'm sure you're aware, no rules are being made up - but I guess that doesn't matter to you if there's a chance to poke fun at the SC and its mods. I suggest you decamp your attitude back to where it's appreciated.

Given the WA exists to mindlessly approve any proposal with enough TGs behind it, I may as well help this evil proposal win, since actually reading the proposal is futile--robotic button pushing is more important. Perhaps if enough garbage resolutions are passed by the power of their creators telegramming everyone alone, someone will realize the system is dumb.

Though I am upset that Mitt Romney beat me out in the Presidential Primaries, I do agree that we need to band together as fellow Republicans and send a clear message to The 47 percent. I urge you all to support this resolution, so we may finally have a better America, under God, and self-sufficient for the foreseeable future.

Why should IRL politics affect the Security Council? The nation play-acting the current Republican Presidential candidate is doing this to make fun of the IRL person. If Mitt Romney were acting as the IRL person, the nation would simply ignore The 47 percent to go after the votes that will make a difference.
