St Lucoa wrote:"Come on hurry up! Do you want to miss the plane?"
Steven was shouting this to his girlfriend who, despite getting up 1 hour earlier, was still in the bathroom. Eventually she appeared and ran down the stairs after checking she had passports.
The two had laready phoned a taxi, which had been waiting outside for about 15 minutes. The two clammbered in the taxi and instructed the driver where to go. Withing a few minutes they had reached the airport. They quickly handed in their luggage and completed the necessary checks. Now they could relax in the lounge. Steven turned to Emma,
"Well, a great start to the holiday that would have been. Imagine missing the flight. What took you so long anyway?"
Emma said sharply, "I was trying to hurry, but we are here now, so stop your worrying."
The couples flight was called and they entered the plane, they were glad to sit down. Soon they would be arriving in Smoya. And Steven had a superise instore for Emma when they got their.

The Imperial State of Liccena wrote:Sevs was happy to have a vacation. It was nice to get out and see the world outside the factories and Agency regulations that boged down any sense of leisure in his hometown, District Three. Having already packed, hailed a public transport to take him to the airport, and arriving ahead of schedule, Sevs walked through the national airport, moving towards a security checkpoint. A pair of armed Agents in full body armor stood on either side of a metal detector, as one held out a hand to motion Sevs to stop.
The guard looked at Sevs, a mixed expression of boredom and attentivness on his face. "Identity number, citizen?" the guard asked.
"77-1033," Sevs began reciting from memory "factory worker, District Three." That was one thing outsiders seemed to never understand was the almost insane amount of security in Liccena. The tourist idely waited as the guard ran his ID number through a national database.
The guard handed Sevs a small piece of offical paper, stamping it with the symbol of District One and the Agency, "Citizen 77-1033 approved from travel to Smoyan city of Dronden." And with that, Sevs made his way past security to his terminal, taking a seat in the small, heavily chaired area as he waited for his flight to arrive.
When the flight arrived, Sevs boarded, slightly culture shocked at the comparitive extravagence of the Smoyan plane and attendants, and took his seat. Wouldn't be long and he'd have his first taste of international cultures.

Miriam skipped, singing a popular children's song to herself. Excitement lit up her eyes. "I've never been on a plane before," she said to anyone who would listen. Marina apologized with her eyes. Mothers, holding their own children, smiled knowingly. A few tourists at the airport gawked at the sight of the royal family, who had no security team. The natives, however, were used to seeing the Queen in casual places.
The family walked over to their private plane at 7:30 pm. They boarded quietly. The plane took off, and Miriam's eyes widened. Marina smiled, assuring her that everything would be all right. The plane steadied, and Miriam, watching a cartoon in the small television, nodded off to sleep. The Queen ordered a coffee, and sipped it slowly. She closed her eyes, but fear gripped her heart. This was only her second time in Smoya, and she hoped this time would be better than the first, which ended in a nuclear war. She knew it would be okay, because this time she was a tourist, not a dignitary. Paul sensed her tension, and held her hand. She smiled at him. It was a 20 hour flight to Dronden, so they ordered dinner (fried chicken for everyone!), and clicked the button that turned their seats into beds.

"What do you have?"
He reached into his wad of cash and pulled out a hundred dollar bill; that would be able to cover whatever was available, he told himself.
"And besides food and drink, does this plane have anything of note on it?"
Titan waited for a response as he looked at attendant.

She had plenty of dynamic and great shots around Eeri where she was born and raised but now was the time to start exploring the outside world some more, beyond what you could see at your computer screen. She had a passion for the still photos even with video streaming sites booming she felt nothing could top the beauty and impact of a simple still photograph. It was an art that never would die. Even if the fate of news print remained uncertain, still photographs would always remain. Her sister Erika was a farmer and had only interest in land, weather, and family, so she was brushed off by her sister in the idea of going overseas for a while. Still Erika wanted to see her sister off on this trip. Weather was looking okay but storms were fast approaching the airport. "You still could go with me," Amber said "Really, a few hundred Ameros to have my sister with me."
"Can't just pack up and leave, I've got a husband and two kids and a farm to care for. I'm not as flighty as you."
"I'm not flighty, I'm just spontaneous. That's why I didn't follow you into farming so I could spring up and into action whenever I want."
Erika could tell what she thought but with the darkening skies she wanted to her sister to make it into the sky safely. Twice there had been fatal crashes at Mabinogi International both during severe thunderstorms. One overshoot on the runway one brought down by a microburst. Erika never understood why anyone would fly. Once parked at the terminal the two sister hugged. They fought and had their differences but they loved each other regardless. "I'll be fine, a little thunderstorm is all. I'll call you once I'm there."
Even with bad weather around the airport there was enough clearance the plane could make a successful take off without much to worry about. Once the plane was fully boarded they could get set for takeoff.

"I'll take a burger and a soda. And two relatively unbiased news magazines from Smoya, one more political, one more... sensationalist. Keep the change."
He handed the attendant the hundred dollar bill; he saw her eyes light up as he pulled it out, and figured he might as well be nice. The woman probably had to deal with being oggeled a lot. He hoped to get caught up on what was going on around Smoya, see if anything major was happening, plus learn what was up with the ''celebrities'' of this land. The burger would serve to sate his appetite for the time being, and the soda would satisfy his ever-present caffeine addiction.

The plane took off to a slow start. There was a thunder storm, though. The captain said, " We are entering a storm, please do not worry. Y=Just realax and enjoy the flight.
In the cockpit, things were mixed up. It was on course, but they could not contact the Control Center in Smoya. A flight attendant spoke in the speaker and said, " Anyone who has their phone on, please turn it off. We can not contact Smoya, so please turn off all electrical devices." Another flight attendant walked up to Erika and asked," Would you like anything? Also, may I check your cell phone if you have one, or is it off?"

"I'm just fine, thank you ma'am. My phone is off so no need to check it." She gripped her seat as the flight bumped a bit in the turbulent weather. "How long is the flight to Smoya?"

His rather expensive military-grade smart-phone was contained tightly in his small bag. Both phones were powered off, so Titan knew he was not the cause of any trouble. He didn't like people checking his stuff, and he made this rather plain through his body language, though he did not actually say anything as he handed the cheap phone to the attendant.
He turned to the magazines and quickly perused them immediately after he handed the phone to be checked, while with his other hand he held his burger which he began to eat.
He wondered what was the cause of this paranoia on the part of the attendants, and as he thought, his own paranoia began to build up. He began to give half-glances at the other passengers, looking for the one who might be a terrorist. His military training in the Republican Counter Insurgency Force allowed him to detect the minor tells that separated a hostile from a civvie, and with a solider's eye he combed over everyone in the plane. He finally spoke to the attendant.
"Is something wrong?"

Marina smiled, but looked puzzled. 'This is a private plane,' she thought. 'There is no one here to annoy.' "The flight is fine," she said. "I don't think we'll watch a movie tonight. The little one is tired."
Miriam smiled up at the flight attendant. "My name is Miriam," she said. "And this is my Grandmama and Big Daddy. She's the Queen! And when I grow up, I'll be Queen, too!" She bounced in her chair. She yawned, and scooted down in her chair.

He thought to question him about what damn Terrorists he's texting, but refrained as his reason slipped back into his head. He figured the man was just being kind of an ass, and so he chuckled lightly. He spoke carefully to the man, just loud enough so he could hear him.
"You should consider turning that off."
He looked at the man menacingly; he didn't have to make any threats to intimidate someone, and the veteran's shoulders widened to show off his real size.
"You really have no idea what could happen if they can't talk to the terminal. We could all crash and die. Or we could be the only two survivors..."
He thought about making a comment about having to eat him if he was stuck for a while, but he decided that should be enough to properly intimidate him.

Solom went through his head and wondered what the man was doing; all likelihood, he was talking to his wife or mistress. Still, he kind of hoped he was doing something illegal so this flight could be exciting.
"In any case, you need to turn off the phone so the plane can contact the terminal; if it can't contact the terminal, we can't land; we can't land, we circle around until we're out of fuel and then we crash, and probably die. Understand?"
