Natan Region Annual International Banquet

This is a banquet to honor the Natan Region. anyone can come to it! you can meet delegates from the Natan Region. as the founder, I welcome you all to this banquet! United States of Natan delegate sits down at the head of the table to eat

[The Antarctic Trade Federation]

Maurice Moss, the Minister of Foreign Affairs receives the invitation and decides to attend.

After a 12 hour flight
he arrives and is escorted into the dining room, only to find an empty room yet to be filled and the United States of Natan delegate already sitting down and downing his meal.

His thoughts:
"What in the ruddy hell..."

the Grand Soviet Union sends their esteemed leader Sergei Balakin to the banquet. He takes a plane and when he lands he is escorted into the dining room. "good day gentlemen" he says to the others in the room with a smile on his face as he sits down.

“There is growing opposition among members of the Parliament towards the conflict over Wicksteed, you must make a public statement or I fear that we will…” the voice of Minister David Miles was interrupted as President Laura Rodríguez turned off her cell phone before entering the room. She had chosen to attend this banquet personally as news of Natan and region named had been appearing again and again in international circles, some of it was good and a lot of it was bad. She wanted to judge Natan for herself and this was the best way to do it.

The leader of the United Provinces walked through the large doors at one end of the room and then sat down at one of the seats. “Good evening gentlemen, I hope I have not arrived too early.” She said while scanning the room to see which leaders from which nation had decided to attend the banquet, that would be an easy way to judge the true influence of Natan region in world affairs.

"Good evening Mr. _________. It's a pleasure to meet you!", Moss quickly says issuing a handshake, "wow, what a marvellous dining room, I'm sure our leader would be very pleased but unfortunately he is too busy dealing with other foreign affairs to attend. My sincere apologise."

Moss takes a seat adjacent to the delegate, and has his order taken. Fine Cavier with a glass of White Russian.

Lady Baltika leader of Kitsune France recieves an invitation from the Ozzalonian State. "This might be interesting....."

After a 13 hour flight she arrives at the dining room, the anthro fox sees that the room is nothing but humans except for her 2 bodyguards "......Ummm...... where's the food, mate?" She asked looking around the room.

"order it, we have any food you could possibly want. oh, and all of you, feel free to invite your friends to the banquet, then it will be much more lively"

"Thank you President Natan, I don't mind if I do", chuckled Moss.



Moss was eager to start talking about arranging diplomatic agreements. With the newly discovered natural gas reserves and the breakthrough of fracking, the Antarctic Trade Federation (ATF) was aiming to become the next global exporter of natural gas. This is the first international meeting an ATF representative has ever been too, so Moss was ardent to put ATF on the map and into international circles.

After placing his order, he turns and faces President Natan:
"Since we are a relatively new nation, we would like to become better acquainted with your nation and hopefully strike up an alliance of which will benefit the both of us."

"Outstanding!" She looked at the menu and the waitress came by, Baltika a little nervous "I just want a chicken......nugget......combo, thats all please." She smiled to the waitress as she wrote down the order and sighed. Baltika didn't know what her two bodygaurds ordered, she was zoned out.

"ah, that is very amazing, Moss! and, those of you that are democratic regions or are capitalist regions, feel free to join the Democratic/Capitalist Alliance! "

Hugotopias, another nation in Natan Region, sends their president, George Hugo. "hello everyone"

Suddenly, Moss' phone begins to vibrate. Moss takes it out, unlocks the screen and cringes at what he sees.
'Emergency Status, Respond Immediately' titled the message.

Oh no, this can't be good...
Moss looks up and gently taps President Natan on the arm. "Looks like you've got something important to address tonight, I believe this rogue nation is a threat to our alliance."
Looking around to see if any other delegates are showing signs of apprehension, he passes the phone over and shows him the message.

Baltika watched, she was getting uncomfortable with this Banquet. She rather go back home and discuss military budgets but now was a good time to relax even if she was just daydreaming, she could never have the time to do so anyway. So she sat and heard leaders discuss their country's futures and she heard somone freak out over something.

"Ah, so are you all having a good time? I propose we start a debate. what topic shall we choose?"

"What?! He can't be serious", thought Moss. Had he just been ignored?

"Mr. President, there is something I need to show you and it is urgent." This time placing the phone in directly between the plate and his face.

“I must apologize for eavesdropping but I believe that Mr. Ross referring to the threatening message which Three States Alliance has issued to the world. I would not be too concerned with the matter, every known again a nation attempts to go to war with the world but in almost all cases their threats come to nothing. However, I believe my government will be placing an embargo upon them.” President Rodriguez said after overhearing the conversation between the representatives of Natan and the Antarctic Trade Alliance.
