Will they? Not anytime soon, but it's certainly not impossible.
Should they? Yes and no. Economically I don't believe it'd be sustainable, but then I'm not an economist and if I can be proven wrong, then so be it. As is, all I see wanting it are ultra-nationalist secessionalists who do not represent the majority of scottish people. What those nationalists forget is that England pays for many of it's things such as the NHS, Parliament and so on, if Scotland became independant I don't believe it would be able to sustain that on it's own. Let's nor forget it's free universities that is free for everyone except English people.

To summarise, I take the whole situation with a pinch of salt and am up for being convinced either way.
