Dozens are reported dead, and hundreds wounded as fighting breaks out in Gnu Linuxia. The majority of the violence is centered around the Western province of Koy, long a haven for dissent in the country. There were more outbreaks of violence in other parts of the county as well. A carbomb detonated in the capital city of Jenra, in the college district. 17 people are reported as dead in that attack. At least another 21 people died in street fighting in the capital between the rebels and the government and pro-communist forces.

Response from Capitalist Leader:
Thank you, we are greatly pleased that the international community sees our plight for what it is. The training should be very helpful. We do not have large quantities of weapons, supplies or materials, and any sort of help in that area would be greatly appreciated.
The 200 men will be assigned to liaison duties, as well as to security positions and (for the higher ranking among you officers) training duties.

IC: Mr. Ahmad: Tell the general to send some troops to Gnu Linuxia to aid the rebels. Unlike last time, we shall not sit back after what happened. *Gestures out of the window*

The amphibious assault of the 10th Infantry Divison (~20,000 soldiers) and the 3rd Elite Corps (~300 soldiers) was around ten minutes from Gnu Linuxia. The message of their arrival was to be forwarded to the Rebel Leader (OOC: what's his name?) in a few minutes time
To: Rebel Leader
From: Easfield Lodge Army
We have been sent to help you overthrow the communist government and need information as to where we should land and where we need to be.

An assassination attempt on Major General Richard Wong has resulted in the capture of a single foreign soldier. The Linuxian government has refused to elaborate further on the nationality of the POW, but third party sources indicate United Gordonopia as the offending nation. The captured soldier was with a small squad of other men, apparently in disguise. It is believed that a firefight broke out at a checkpoint, and that is where the man was captured. Linuxian soldiers say they may have injured another of the men. The rest of the men ran off into the hills, where they are still unaccounted for. Atleast 2 Linuxian soldiers perished in the fight.

ooc: ...but I didn't even attempt it yet, they had just come out of the forest... and if they look like normal civilians offering help, you wouldn't just arrest them (and these guys would kill themselves rather then be captured). You've got to wait for me to attack, you can't godmod a rash move like that. They would do all they could to offer to help you, and they would just leave and try another entrance.
