As for how they're treated, that has nothing to do with their race. Their ancestors lost a war to us, and the losers and their descendants became part of the war booty. So they're slaves. Just like their un-mixed (and mixed) ancestors were. We got rid of the error-ridden "racial purity" - the same condition that gives purebred dogs their problems - and replaced it with Code that doesn't result in silly breakdowns like osteoporosis (whites and Asians), melanoma (same), sickle-cell anemia (blacks) and other such things.

Every original kind of semi-pure-bred human had some breed-specific error or other, and usually several. Bah. We aren't about to have that going on in our empire.
