Unobtainable Maximum

Postby Truingren » Mon Jul 02, 2012 6:58 am

Currently my economy is at 97/100, the other day I answered an issue that I know (based on previous reactions with other nations) not only do my civil rights increase but also meant to increase my economic freedom. After the changes took affect I noticed my economy failed to rise past 97.

My questions are am I ever able to obtain 100? Why didn't my economic freedom increase?

This has been mentioned loads before. Once your stats get to the extreme end (high or low) it's hard to get 100 or 0. For some, it takes many years to get 100/100 on the economy. Just be patient and you'll get there eventually.

Amland is a modern tech nation, but a little more developed. It is just about as developed as Japan, technology-wise.

As Amland said, it's much harder to move a point the closer you get to either extreme. Just to clear up some points:

Issue choices don't affect all nations the same way. Just because it raised CR and Economy on one nation, doesn't mean it'll do that on another.

The three trended stats present on your main nation page are Civil Rights, Economy, and Political Freedoms. Economic freedoms exist, but it is a hidden stat.

Well that is more complex then what I thought.

I thought Economy was Economic freedom and is what was reflected in the trend line. Has this now changed? Cause I remember many many years ago the explanation was that Economy didn't tell how strong your economy was but rather how much economic freedom your economy had.

For as long as I've played this game, it has always been Economic Strength displayed at the top of ones nation page, and Economic Freedom being one of the three dimensions determining ones nation category.

Mmm, I thought the three at the front of the page is what determined your category. So we will never know our economic freedom?
