RAP BATTLE LEAGUE
Dear Sir or Madam,
Greetings, famous historical figure, fictitional character, or celebrity!
I am pleased to inform you that the review panel of the International Epic Rap Battle League has, after much deliberation, decided that you have sufficient qualifications and meet the criteria to receive an invitation to join the IERBL. This global organization seeks to determine once and for all which famous icons are superior to others via face-to-face showdowns, and has reason to believe that you would be a solid contender.
Should you choose to accept our invitation, you will compete against other individuals in verbal wars for supremacy and do your utmost to ensure that your own greatness is emphasized while proving the inferiority of your opponents. These rivals can come from anywhere in time and space, so be on your toes and prepare for anything.
We eagerly await your reply, and I wish you the best of luck!Sincerely,
The Commissioner of the IERBL

*Not really necessary since you don't need to be a good story writer to be a good rap writer, but it gives me an idea of how much of an effort you'll make, how active you'll be, etc.
RULES
1. Stay active. If you're not, then you'll (redundantly) be kicked out. Pop on at least once a week, and give me a heads up on any extended absences. I can't emphasize this enough.
2. Follow the voting system. Telegram IERBL who you think won the match no more than 4 days after it ends, be honest (don't just vote based on the standings), and don't even think about rigging it.
3. Matchup guidelines. I'll use a randomizer and telegram you who you'll face and whether you'll go first. Feel free to take a day or two to research your opponent, but try to start quickly. 2 verses with a max of 8 lines each, with a second round for rebuttal.4. Line of the Week. You may nominate a small part of any of the week's raps for the Line of the Week award. The winner will be determined via a vote in which self-voting is not allowed and will receive 1 extra point in the standings.
5. Changing characters is allowed. Sticking with the same guy for several matches will probably get tedious after a while, so you can switch at any time.
6. Limit the flaming to the IC. Personal insults directed towards the character you're rapping against are encouraged, but OOC personal insults are not.
7. Uh... who? At one time or another, you might wind up facing someone you know nothing about. I'll give you 3 opt-outs for those occasions. If you run out, just use the bio and hope for the best.
8. Be original. If you're using someone from the ERBH videos, don't even come close to plagiarizing.
10. Have fun! Or else.
11. Thou shalt not create more rules than the Ten Commandments. Oops.
