It's part of the USA. The USA is not socialist, it's capitalist. Therefor, Florida is capitalist. Quite simple.

If you're talking about Florida, no. Cuba's another matter entirely.

Happy?

Perhaps by finally lifting that stupid embargo. Fidel's not even president anymore, and frankly, this whole thing has become rather pointless. America's moved on, found another boogeyman, and I don't think the populace cares anymore. If the Pope has the guts to visit, the US should just buck up and begin regular relations again.

There a great many registered voters in Florida who disagree with you. I'm not saying they're right, but they're there.

Never really cared for Florida myself(besides Disneyworld, of course). Never liked them since they had the 'smarts' to elect Jeb Bush. How much you want to bet that the people that disagree with Cuba still are those who were alive during the Cuban Revolution?

If that's true, Florida would have a serious age gap problem. In any case, there's enough of them that some serious problems would boil down if so. Then again, most people of that demographic are conservatives anyway, so either way they'd be against Obama for one reason or another.

By use of the word Culturally, I hope you mean more liberal than the northerners? (My Uncle lives in Cocoa Beach—I really should ask him his political stance some time)

When you compare the North of florida to the South of Florida you see that the North of Florida is more 'Southern' than south florida which is more 'Northern'
