The army focuses on extreme elitism, preferring hit and run tactics to harass an enemy before destroying what remains. The navy is rarely used, but is always on standby if needed. The air-force plays a crucial role in the wars Naftahstan has fought in, as it is the most powerful air-force of it's world.

A large amount of mercenaries with high-tech railguns, coilguns, and a lot of powered armor and genetic restructuring.
Said genetic restructuring focuses on speed, endurance and giving everyone tails. Don't really need strength when we have railguns and powered armor.

We also have the Civil Defense Agency, but they are less an Army and more a barely tolerable self-controlled auxiliary.

These brave men arm themselves with broad shields and shiny, holy swords and equally shiny armour to combat the forces of Balzaamon the Dark. Their armor's ivory color is a symbol of Almire's purity, both in the land and the hearts of its people.

Such weapons they wield are said to be enchanted by Archangels, and they bless those who fight for their homeland, granting them strength from within.

The Silver Eagles


The Silver Eagles are riflemen that support the Crusaders in battle. Clothed in nothing but trousers and trench coats, with almost no armour, these hawkshots are the bane for any shadowspawn, especially when a pure sun-silver round finds its mark.

The Children of the Light


Commonly (and disdainfully) known as "Whitecloaks," the elite, overzealous, and haughty Children of the Light serve as Almire's secret police force. They accompany Almirian Crusaders in patrols, and strangely believe that:

1)The only righteous form of combat is self defense. (Therefore, they rarely stage assaults)
2) Swords are a thing of luxury, never to be touched. (They only arm themselves with lances.)

Royal Cavalry/Armoured Corps

Argent Mk I Medium Landkreuzer


Recently fielded by the Royal Cavalry and Armoured Corps, the Argent is the newest main battle tank in service.

It has some 47mm of welded Chronite-Sunsilver reflective alloy for frontal armor, strong enough to deflect 7.5 cm shells, but will still be shredded by 9 cm guns. For the sides, 35mm of the same alloy is used, easily defending against 5.7 cm. 7.5 cm will still, however, dent the side armour severely.

The Argent is armed with a single 7.5cm rifled gun in the forward hull, two 8.8 cm guns in the sponsoons, one on each side, with a 45 degree turn radius, and a single 2.2 cm 6-shot kwik-automacgewher with a rotary cylinder magazine mounted in the turret. There is also a 8.6mm automacgewher in the frontal hull controlled by the driver.

For speed, two 500hp high-end steam engines give the 46-tonne Landkreuzer 21.7 hp per tonne, giving it some decent off-road mobility. Suspension is still the old spring-leaf, but developers claim to be testing out torsion bar in the labs.

Paladin v3M Infantry-Support Landkreuzer


This monster of an Infanterie-Landkreuzer sports 5 turrets, the largest fielding a 90mm howitzer, two bearing 5.7cm guns, and the other two are armed with 8.6mm automacgewhers. Armor consists of the same chronite-sunsilver alloy found in the Argent MBLK, and since they're both built on the same chassis, hull armour is identical. However, the main, central turret armor has 50mm of the alloy on the sides, and 60mm sloped heavilyon the front. This is a real pain for 5.7 shells to even scratch, and only the mighty 8.8cm has the ability fully penetrate in one hit.

The commander is also able to use the 8.6mm automacgewher mounted on the cupola, if necessary.

Since it's price and difficulty to manufacture, the current landkreuzer is parceled out to support various infantry divisions, and a few to specialist armoured regiments.
