What is your military's close quarter combat weapons.

Example: Ani-Wayan Cherokee's use Tomahawks, clubs, scalping knives, bayonets, the Tsalagi Short Spear ( a short spear of about 3 to 4 feet in length), Remington Model 870, .38 Special Revolver, and the Winchester Model 1897.

Commonly used weapons include knives, bayonets, sabers (commonly used by officers), M1014 and 870 shotguns, and natural appendages (i.e claws, teeth, hooves, tails, etc).

The Free Empire of Socialist Unamedistan has three (3) military branches and two (2) sub-branches:

Branches:
-Army
-Navy
-Air Force

Sub-Branches:
-Conscript Corps (paramilitary sub-branch of the Army)
-Marines (sub-branch of the Navy)

Sidearms:
The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines use the FN-Five-seveN

The Conscript Corps use the Makarov PM

High ranking officers in all branches/sub-branches have the Walther P38

Other:
Since all service rifles used by all branches and sub-branches are Kalashnikov based, they use Kalashnikov-compatible bayonets. Additionally, officers have ceremonial swords (not sabres like typical military officers, they look more like ornate Viking Age swords)

Zonolian troops carry the standard KAM-1980 MPAR which allows the 'heavy' barrel and stock to be removed allowing a CQC weapon, it can also be fitted with the standard triple drum magazine to allow more ammunition.

Essentially, anything they desire. Swords, spears, axes, and maces are all common choices, as are using their own bodies (tails, wings, etc.). It really depends on the individual; one of the Royal Knights is well-known for choosing two melee weapons from her collection randomly each day.

YellowApplan military personnel are well-trained in hand-to-hand (or, in some cases, hoof-to-hoof) melee combat, and will gladly take an opportunity to knock down their opponents and/or break bones. Knife-based combat is additionally popular and trained for, primarily among the YellowApple Aerospace Defense Corps, where personnel are expected to be able to repel boarding parties within the tight confines of a YellowApplan aerospace vessel. Melee attacks utilizing the butt-ends of rifles are also commonplace. YellowApplan tactics generally revolve around subduing a target rather than intentionally killing except for the most extreme circumstances, which is reflected in the emphasis on melee combat tactics.

Conductive energy weapons, shotguns, and capsaicin aerosols are utilized routinely within the Domestic Security Corps, and shotgun functionality is built into the Morita MK1 and Morita III assault rifles utilized by the Domestic Security Corps and Aerospace Marines, respectively.

Some specialized units additionally wield various long-bladed weapons, including vibrokatanas and energy blades. However, given the susceptibility of self-injury when wielding any such energy-infused blade weapon, very few personnel are sufficiently trained to the point of being capable of fielding them in an actual combat scenario.

Anything possible, they are trained to improvise. Combat boots are known as "Skull Smashers" by the ground units on account of their popular use. When weapons are used, it is usually something that can kill with one blow, as to avoid the enemy possibly escaping. trench spikes are a favorite, though Shovels and even simple fixed blade knives are common as well. Their most deadly weapon, is their bodies themselves. Azacan troops are taught a mixture of Icelandic Combat Glima and Russian Combat Sambo.

Azhurun military personnel only use melee weapons with plasma sheaths and displacement. So, easily quantifiable as CQC armament. Even more so, each individual is genetically edited to their own choice. Some are large bears able to rip men limb from limb, reptiles able to inject venom with massive fangs, or feline animals enabling claws to be used. Some have a mixture of all three and more so, such as a prehensile tail with a large talon at the end.

Added alongside Power armor suites that deploy kinetic barriers that deflect incoming objects and are often used to add an extra amount of force behind a kick or a punch. Literal shields are also a fond favorite of many, using the edges to break enemy throats and noses.

The imagination is literally the limit.

generally the staff of themnax used as a quarters staff, which is why it is constructed more then sufficiently sturdy enough to do so, dispite its other functions being relatively high tech.

cattle prods are also useful in close quarters.

we don't have a military as such, but our constabalry IS equiped with staffs of themnax. as is any individual citizen wishing to be.

It's as simple as stating "I've got a military." There's no military army creation button thingy on the game, so all militaries are roleplayed on the forums only.

All Zwitterjiundian Infantrymen have bayonet attachments for their weapons as well as a short sword.

Officers have Swords, Chainswords, Powerfists or powerswords depending on their rank.

The standard side-arm issued to all personel is the P33 Pereira REX

Marines have fore-arm mounted flamers and powerfists.

However most soldiers will just clear the area by attaching an extended magazine to their pistol and selecting full auto or pistol in one hand and bayonet in other.
