A Time to stand up!

Postby Merriwhether » Fri Mar 16, 2012 2:16 pm

The turbulent times we live in are based around fear: fear of the rich and powerful politicians because the global democratic system is inefficient and corrupt. Well, I say no more running, no more fear! It's time for the lower-class and poverty to stand up for ourselves! This is not a post for the rich or politically involved. Especially US representatives or corporate board leaders. We must no longer stand for the nauseous greed and evil need to feel superior over people who can't afford to have a say or give back to their community. The rich abuse their money and power to make themselves look like pillars of society and gain pardons when they do something wrong or pay other desperate innocents to do it for them! I say no more corruption, no more abusing the once-pure now tainted democratic system for their own corporate and political greed! Down with the rich and powerful! No more corruption!

Not to start by taking the wind out of your sails, but I'm pretty sure rich corporate leaders do not read this board.

True, true. Also, don't judge me by my nation here, Merriwhether. I've been trying long to increase civil and political freedoms, I just haven't done very good at it.

You're saying a lot without really saying anything. You're just saying what you think is right, without any evidence. A list of what's wrong, nothing about how to fix it, or if there really is a problem in the first place.

And to raise the important topic we must make our voices heard by standing out and flat out making it heard: We will not stand for the inherent greed and corruption of the diplomatic and corporate systems.
