Who wants to form a commonwealth?

Jothastein is looking for a small, politically strong(NOT CORRUPT) nation to form a commonwealth with. Basically, Jothastein would act as the martial arm, and the other nation would control politics. Preferably someone with the same government as mine, but not corrupt.

New Rome is not above asking for help. We recognize that our economy and defense are weak. We may not agree with all of your teachings or ways of governing but we feel that making friends with all nations is a good way to make sure our defense has no need in being stronger. Also, you're a bit too big. I would prefer someone that is roughly the same size as me.

With all due respect, but I think judging nations by size alone is not a fair assumption. Especially not since yours is only 8 million, which IIRC means you've played for something like less than a week now.

New nations tend to quit pretty fast. Older (thus larger too) nations are more likely to stick with you, if you know whether they treated other allies likewise in the past.

EDIT: The WA catagory is also not a very accurate way of measuring how an ally would fit you. A lot of people around here (including myself) have WA catagories that do not accurately represent what their actual nations are from an IC point.

I reccomend you choose an ally based on how the potential ally has treated others in the past. If you know a potential ally has betrayed or otherwise unfairly treated other nations in the past (you can look this up by checking their post history) or has waged war very often, well, don't all that nation.

This, i've only been around a few months and my own population has already reached approximately 1.2 billion. Going by population count isn't the best way to determine who should and shouldn't join you

This, I even thought of quitting when I joined my first alliance, because I was worried I might not have had the time, I was only about one month old then, it feels like a year.
