The Antarctican Alliance Space Agency is proud to announce it's recent unveiling of plans for the Omega International Space Station. Completion of this space station will take place within the next few months, and will require international co-operation. Along with building the space station, all nations must present plans for their rocket, along with specifications and planned payload. Each nation may make special requests for their portion of the station, and will have an individual docking port designed specifically for their rocket. Slots are a first-come first-serve basis. SLAMS COMMAND, REVNAMI

Air Commodore Frank Balon is a lanky man, with flaming, short-cropped hair and a look of owl-like proportions. Not attractive by any sense of the work, but a genius in his field. And his field was the maintenance and security of the Sea Land Air Missile System run by the New Hayesalian Air Force. A series of satellites, they provided communications but more important defence from ICBMs and the ability to direct a strike against an enemy force with a kinetic kill rod.

They were damn effective, too.

But in space, they could be considered somewhat vulnerable. A satellite could leave some durable features desired and quite plainly without a good stockpile of idiots fighting wars the SLAMS could have been a very ineffective weapon- but since then the NHAF had installed Fist EKVs to each SLAMS to give it protection, albeit marginally effective.

"So if this station goes up, what's the risk?" asked Air Vice Marshal George Talliardad, Commander of the SLAMS Sytem. He himself was a burly man with no sense of humour- just pure, devoted duty to protecting 'his satellites.'
"We potentially have fourteen dangerous nations up there, working on god knows what and eventually they use a sat for target practice. Of course, we write a condemnation and warn them not to go ahead with the project. The threat is simply, their idiocy." replied Balon.
"What should we do?"
"Simply? Use their modules for our own target practice..."
"And kill their astronauts? Cause an international affair?"
"No, not at all. A focused attack from a kinetic rod is precise enough to knock off a rocket component on the ground. Imagine the frustration, if you all left work for the night, came back and found out that someone had destroyed your rockets. Or your expensive modules. Or if your $500,000 launch pad now had a massive crater where the flat ground was meant to be."
"I see." he thought a moment. "Have the Intelligence Corps write something up, work with them. I'll have the directorate voice our concerns.
"Yes sir."
