What is CoPS?


The Coalition of Ponyist States (CoPS) is an RP group that was initially created by Enatai and Urmanian. Originally, CoPS was an alliance between nations that posessed populations of sentient equines based on the tv show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. However, as time went on, it was realized that CoPS as an IC alliance was nearly unworkable due to the wide variety of nations present, and it was then reorganized as an RP group.

The RP Group is noticeably more lax, and we are on the lookout for new members. Our only requiremens are that you're ok recognizing the existence of sentient ponies, and that the quality of your RP is good! Beyond that...well, we've got pre-existing communists, fascists, capitalists, monarchies...all kinds of things! In other words, no matter who you are:






The Pax Luna Protocol

As we all know the endless divide between Pony and Anti-Pony RPers has been a great distraction to everyone, and caused numerous incidents. Nathi mentioned & 'sandboxing'; and to be honest, until such time as everyone can be civil, that's precisely what I think we should do. I present my three point plan for trying to avoid further bitchiness.

  1. Don't do pony-genocide RP. Don't even comment on it. I think we're all fed up with the whole darn notion, I know I am. The same with pony revolutions and such.
  2. If people are discourteous to you OOC, ignore them. Or if you think they'll annoy you. Or if you don't like the cut of their jib. There's really no reason to interact with people you dislike on this forum, Don't bother to tell people that you ignore them... just don't interact with them. just have nothing to do with them. But don't interact with anyone who strikes you as provocative in that way,
  3. Try and spread out the threads a little, so that some are in the International Incidents forum. Part of the reason we're so prominent is because we;re basically sitting in this forum for everything. I suggest that any IC RP threads made in the next month or two be put in the II forum.




The Application Process for CoPS Has Changed. It is now a two step Process.

Fill out this application in the OOC Thread. This is the application to the OOC CoPS RP Group. If this is accepted, then you will be allowed to participate in RPs maked 'CoPS Only', and allows you to ask for a position on the Pony Lands/CoPS Map.

All members of CoPS are allowed to give their opinions on a player, however none of these opinions are official.

Only Urmanian, Lubyak, and Enatai can give full confirmation to a nation.

You will then be either ACCEPTED, PROBATION, or REJECTED

ACCEPTED means that you are fully accepted into the CoPS RP group, and are free to post in any thread marked "CoPS Only"

PROBATION means that we see some potential, but we can't be sure, usually due to a lack of information available on your RPing ability. Feel free to ask to be let into any RP marked "CoPS Only", or start your own, and we'll see how things go. If we think that you've gotten better, then you will be upgraded to ACCEPTED

REJECTED means that for some reason or another you were not allowed to participate in CoPS. A reason for why you were rejected will be given, and you may reapply whenever you think you've fixed the problem we've had. At that time, your application will be reconsidered.

If you are rejected from CoPS OOC, I will do my best to explain WHY you've been rejected, so that you can know what to fix if you wish to reapply.
