In honour of today's featured region, and given the delight for all things tropical and sun related in my nation, what are your nation's fashion trends with regards to swimwear?

In my "state," obviously, anything and everything goes, although those that do want to wear things, two piece bikinis for women and knee-length trunks for men are most popular, although anything and everything in between can be seen. Nudity generally is most popular.

How bout your state? Is what people may or may not wear regulated in your nation? What's popular, what's not?

The typical swimwear for both adolescents and most adults would be swim trunks for males and bikinis or some similar two-piece swimsuit for females. Of course, one-pieces are also popular with females and speedos are the same with males as well. Children typically wear swim trunks in the case of males and one-pieces in the case of females. Older females prefer to wear one-pieces, of course.

Nudity is allowed (at least among non-Humans) but is pretty much uncommon on beaches due to societal taboos towards public nudity.

Beringian men wear swim trunks with built in modesty shorts as well as a t-shirt of some sort. Beringian women of wear a figure hugging wool jersey sleeveless tank suit. The swimsuit legs stop at an unflattering point mid thigh and beneath the swimsuit legs are built-in modesty shorts. It's not regulated per say but it's the most common type of swimwear. You'll also find corset like swimsuits that hug the figure more and reveal a bit more of the body with higher cut legs and occasionally exposed midriffs on younger women. It's not everyday you'll see a woman clad in a bikini because they're thought of as risqué and best suited to exotic dancers and common whores.

All beaches and lagoons are clothing optional, like many lakes. Many people think nothing of showing off their skin, much to the surprise of foreign visitors. Even some authorities who maintain mountainous areas allow nude hiking and skinny dipping. Universities are built round a series of lakes and so it is now a custom for initiation for swimming naked in the shallow areas. Swimwear is always permitted, though very unpopular.

Anyways we swim in the nude.

It has become a tradition for for men use swimming trunks to swim, while our women use swimming bikinis to swim, and our children use one-pieces to swim. Public nudity on some of our beaches are legally allowed, especially because our state's beaches are extremely hot.

Since Naturism is popular in beaches throughout Nazi Centauri and her Overseas Territories & Dominions,swimwear aren't used in beaches in our nations in which beaches are lined with men,women in their birthday suits as well as there are no gender segregation and everyone is mixed in the beach itself,no matter male or female,young or old. While in Singapore & Southern Malaya,Men are required to wear trunks and women bikini's or swimsuit(thongs are still acceptable) while certain beaches allow for birthday suits to be used only in that beach alone in which is states "Clothing is Not Necessary beyond this Line".

Yes, most of us swim in the nude, our birthday suit sis what we use!

All coastlines/rivers/lakes/marshes/ect. for swimming recreation (a la the beach) are privatized, as are almost every public pool. Therefore, the company sets the standards. Almost every pool is mixed-gender with separate changing rooms, but by and large, THIS is the so-called "dress code".

Men's swim trunks must be to the knee or longer.

No recreational spot currently permits two-piece bathing suits or bikinis. Cleavage is, generally, not permitted.

Beach nudity is forbidden by law.

On our beaches nudity is legally allowed but because of social taboos ladies will usually only go topless, although some people ignore the taboos, mostly groups of younger people and weird old men. In our public pools one must cover up though.
