Whatever, we have Mark "Keeping up the legacy of Joe Namath" Sanchez, who, by the way, had even more playoff success than Flacco did in their respective Rookie seasons.

Although, as a Rutgers fan, I've been wanting to see Ray Rice in green since 2005.

Or, as I like to call him: Roflsburger.

Ravens to the Superbowl this year.

Yeah, he's a rapist alright. Just like Kobe Bryant.

Yeah, the Ravens will be good next year. I will be at their training camp for about a week next summer.

Have you ever woken up in the morning and realized that your day is gonna suck on a scale not previously known to man? I do that every day. And then I realize that mercenaries AREN'T burning my village down and raping my mother and I go back to bed.

And all that is now and all that is gone
And all that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon

Dear mods, excuse the renewed gravedig ;)

It's no Favresque 'will he or won't he' kind of story in the sense of having an offer and making up your mind to take it and continue or leave it and retire. But has the NFL seen the last of Terrell Owens?

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d ... nfirm=true

Terrell Owens can't get a job in the NFL doing what he does best, which is catching passes. The main reason for his inability to find work is that he doesn't catch them as well or as often as he did at the height of his career. But there are other factors.

The biggest is that Owens wants to be paid in the neighborhood of what he received for spending the 2009 season with the Buffalo Bills: $6.5 million. Some speculation has his asking price at about $5 million.

Given that Owens is seven months from his 37th birthday, he is dreaming if he thinks he can command that sort of money. A more realistic number is between $1.5 and $2 million, and that would likely not be guaranteed the way last year's one-year agreement was.

I hope it stays this way :)

Think about the numbers in terms that we can relate to. Remove eight zeros from the numbers and pretend it is the household budget for the fictitious Jones family:
-Total annual income for the Jones family: $21,700
-Amount of money the Jones family spent: $38,200
-Amount of new debt added to the credit card: $16,500
-Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710

-Amount cut from the budget: $385

I hope this isn't a gravedig, but the new football season is about to begin.

I went to Eagles training camp about a week ago. We're screwed. Our offense in completely inept :( .

Any preseason predictions as to who will win the super bowl?

Heh, a lot of the ESPN "experts" have been saying Super Bowl or bust for Green Bay.
