Ahem.
I think that we should legalize prostitution so that we can then tax and regulate it as a business and the women (or men in some cases) will be protected under the law.
Annnnd GO!
EDIT: I have set the poll to be disabled after 5 days.

(I should probably take the feminist route, since thats more sympathetic here, but eh... I can't stomach it)

Hehehe. And what is wrong with being lecherous if it is consenting.
I think its a little odd that if you pay someone to have sex with you on camera its legal. Take the camera away and then its a crime.

Or is it legal wherever people want to make it legal, and people just haven't done it outside of Nevada because, apparently, we're all idiots?
And yes, prostitution should be legal.
---WikipediaProstitution in the United States is illegal except in some small rural communities in Nevada. In the United States, each state has the power to regulate prostitution in that state. Only in parts of Nevada is prostitution legal. In all other states prostitution is usually classified as a misdemeanor.

Perhaps pornography should be illegal too. It can be damaging to the moral fiber of society in much the same way prostitution is. Taking men away from good women and putting them in the hands of harlots. Pron can be addictive, and damages relationships nationwide. This is all a serious danger for society, divorced and single-parent families are typically 'at risk'(more likely to be impoverished)1,2, not to mention people who are perpetually single. Society, and thus the government has a valid concern.
