What are your favorite video games?

Postby United Warrisons » Wed Nov 30, 2011 1:21 am

I like SWAT 4 for its realism and accurate simulation, and I also like Deus Ex, for its interested plot and its Dragon Tooth
sword :). The only time I found something annoying in Deus Ex was when I got stuck in a door.

So what are your favorites?

Yes every class I tried out I enjoyed. Even the trooper was fun when I expected it to be a dull class.

I beta tested as well. Sith Warrior/Jedi Knight were broke but the story was amazing.

My favorites would be Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7, Mech Warrior, Smackdown Here Comes the Pain, Ghost Recon 1 and 2, and Rainbow Six Rogue Spear.

MW3 - It is just awesome.
MHII - It is fun in multiplayer: but AI diplomacy sucks.

My all time favourite must be Sengoku Rance (Rance 7), with VtM:B being the runner up.

Meh. I tried to like MW3. It was missing something for me that the other 2 had. If you like semi-realism, try BF3.

Me too! I think the bounty hunter and smuggler had the most interesting plots, gonna play smuggler when the full game comes out. I think those character conversations really added some depth in a (most of the time) shallow game genre.

I grew up with rts games, Age of Empires, Total Annihilation. So I'm gonna go with AOE2, the gameplay felt so polished. Also WC3, it was a really big game for me and my friends.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind blew me away like a storm when it came out. For me, it felt like a revolution in gaming.

Also, Shadow of The Colossus, the most beautiful and downright powerful game ther is in my opinion.

Call of Duty: black ops ( killing commies is cool )
Red Dead Redemption :
( Speaking about the feds and other governmental pigs )
Dutch: after i'm dead they'll find a new monster.
Marston: Why that?
Dutch: Because they have to justify their wages...
Avatar, the game: Destroy the Na'vis with the RDA, fuck yeah! The guns are great!
Call of Duty: modern warfare 1 and 2: How a moronic story can make you love a game...

I'm always more inclined towards RPG video games than anything else. Video games like FF and Kingdom Hearts have always appealed to me.

I'm also a fan of games like Little Big Planet and the Katamari games.

Have you tried Catherine? It's a Japanese "horror/puzzle/action-adventure" game, and I got it on sale from Amazon yesterday.

No, I haven't. Is it for a console or for PC?

EDIT: Nvm, just read the link. Stupid question. :p

Ahhh Medal of Honor :), most of the MOH series are well-made, unfortunately the same can't be said for MOH - Pacific Assault.
It was buggy, and it crashed all the time even after installing the patch.

The Mass Effect Series. Best RPG ever made, imo. And of course, all the other RPGs from BioWare, especially KOTOR and DAO.

Can't wait to play TOR.

Also a big fan of the Dawn of War series, and the expansions, especially Dark Crusade, which after the patches was prettymuch perfect, imo. Sadly, was disappointed in DoWII once I got a computer to run it, the inability to put in badges and banners(with the bullshit excuse of not wanting "inappropriate content", have some balls game developers) prettymuch ruined the game for me. The whole draw to DoW was the ability to customize your army and literally play your tabletop army in the videogame. Without that customization, it was a waste of time.

And the Age of Empire series, and the StarWars: Galactic Battlegrounds series, both of which I still play occasionally to this day.

And an underrated game, one of the first RTSs I played that is still challenging to me, Sid Meier's Gettysburg, which had the awesome feature of Live Action cutscenes to really immerse you in the experience, and really good voice acting of the generals.

And many more, but those are the ones that immediately spring to mind.

Tiami is cool.
