Just wondering, but has anybody else here watched Hamtaro, or even liked it? And why?

Alternatively, why did you not like it?

I loved it. I even got a game for the Nintendo DS, the one where you play all the little mini games or sports.
Now that I think back, I don't remember the end of the anime, do you?

I would occasionally catch myself watching it while flipping through channels stoned. Otherwise, not really. It's a little too childish for my taste.

Nope. I didn't have cable at the time it was on, so I only saw it intermittently, but liked what I saw.

Methinks I have played one of the GBA games at my friends house, I found the game entertaining, mainly because I could push people off a tower.

yes it was on this network that no longer broadcasts here and was then revived and rebranded

shit was awful
we, unlike the bourgeoisie, have nothing to lose and therefore our expression will be the only honest one, our words will be the only challenging ones and our art will be the one revolutionary expression. We need new noise and new voices and new canvases to become something more than the last poets of a useless generation.

I used to love that as a kid, then logic set in, and all I could think was...

From a work to a work I was led to a work."

I wasn't a follower of the series, but I always thought the episodes I did see to be incredibly cute. Other than that, I don't have a strong opinion on the anime.

For whatever fucking reason, the dubs were in Chinese.

I loved Hamtaro when I was 10. I watched it every morning on Cheese TV and had Hamtaro: Ham Ham Heartbreak and Hamtaro: Rainbow Rescue for the GBA. I kind of miss it, even if it was a little stupid.
This was formerly a signature. One day, it may return to its splendid past. In the meantime, enjoy some pictures of my cats.

i don't think it was ever run where i could see it when i could. heard of it at the time though. or shortly after the time might be more accurate. i think it inspired a planet hollywood commercial, back when there were still video stores and vids came on vcr tapes and betamax. at any rate i MIGHT have seen parts of one or two eppisodes back then. this was sometime in the early to mid 90s if i'm not mistaken.

there may even have been a bit of a fan fallowing at that time.

I used to flip to the show just as it ended so I could see him do the hamster dance during the credits. Other than that... no never actually watched it.

I watched crazier shit when stoned. Ever see that Japanese game show Banzai? Best. Thing. Ever. At least it is when you've also phoned in an order for ten pizzas from Papa John's and it's you and your room mate by yourselves. Great week end though.

Don't anymore, but I still enjoy drawing the little Hamster on desks in the auditorium, amongst other things.
