Carmadin Football League

Hello, and welcome to the Carmadin Football League. The CFL consists of four lesser leagues, which are, in order of prestige, The Carmadin Gold League, The Carmadin Silver League, The Carmadin Bronze League, and the Amatuer's Cup, an extended tournament for proffesional teams (ah, Carmadin ). Each League has 8 members, and the Amatuer Cup has 16. The Platinum League is contested when 8 berth are recieved, and the top 3 teams in the Gold League, as well as the victor of the Carmadin Shield, gain berths each season.

The Carmadin Shield is the mid-season tournament contested between the 24 members of the upper leagues, the Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Connected to the CFL is the Elmonian Premier Liha, a 10-team league contested in the CFL offseason. The league champions and runners-up gravitate to the CFL season, entering into the slots prepared for them. Please note that the slot is promoted, relegated, and gains rank points, not the Elmonian team.

The Platinum League is a tournament contsted whenevr 8 teams gain berths. the top 3 Gold League teams, as well as the Shield winner, recieve berths each season.

Carmadin Football League Season I Preview

hello,and welcome. We will be working our way from the bottom up,checking out all 40 teams in the CFL.
First,the lowest tier. The Amatuer's Cup is a prolonged tournament,running over the course of the season. The 16 teams are drawn into 2 divisions,Division Carmadin,and Division National. after every team plays their division through twice,the top four from each division enter the Knockout Phase,2-legged ties through to the final. the winner is promoted,and the second promotion spot is a play-off game between the division winner with the best record,and the runner-up. if the division winner was in the final,the promotion is given to the runner-up.

The divisional draw will provide a great opportunity to learn about the Amatuer's Cup teams:

Please Pardon our appearance…..

The CFL is expanding! That’s right, you heard me! Expanding. Our current format is quite competitive, and a lot of fun to watch. Perhaps too competitive. When only 4 teams are stationary in a league bustling with teams being promoted this way, and relegated that way, it can get a bit hectic. So, the CFL is expanding. Currently, our short-term goal is 16 teams to each league, doubling the amount we have. So, our promotion and relegation numbers will be even kookier, setting things up so 2 teams are added to each league every season, and in just 4 seasons, voila! We have a bigger, better CFL. Now, cuz you’re a diehard CFL fan and just have to know, here’s what will be happening:

The Gold League will be relatively unchanged. The Bottom two each season will be relegated to the Silver League, and four teams will come in.

The Silver League will promote four teams (all SBCC entries) to the Gold League, and relegate two to the Bronze League.

The Bronze League will be the craziest. They will promote six teams to the Silver League, and relegate one team each to the Carmadin League and National League.

The Carmadin League and National League will both promote three teams to the Bronze League, and four teams will be added to each league at the conclusion of each season.

Now, you may be wondering, what about the Carmadin Shield? Well, we regret to inform you all that the Carmadin Shield will be temporarily suspended. Now, for everyone who is now freaking out because Carmadin won’t have an entry into the Cygnus Cup, stop. We are pleased to present to you Carmadin’s Interim tournament:

Copa de las Ligas.

Ignoring the awful translation into Rushmori from Carmadese of “Cup of the Leagues”, the Copa de las Ligas will be a five-team tournament that takes place at the end of each season between the Winners of all the five leagues. The winner of the Carmadin League will face the winner of the National League in a 2-match series as a play-in game. The Gold League champion will take on that winner, while the winners of the Silver and Bronze Leagues will face off. The two winners will then meet in the final, to decide who will represent Carmadin in the Cygnus Cup.

Well, there you go. We’re expanding. Hope you’ll all follow the league, and be ready for a bigger, better, CFL, Gold League, and Carmadin Shield!

The most exciting Gold League yet came down to the final matchday. With Seendok Shells and Northeastern both tied with 47 points apiece, the Shells were set to play a fateful game in Chahr against the North Stars, while Northeastern took on FC Charge. Some muted celebrations occured as Seendok held the Stars to a scoreless draw, but things exploded when news came of Northeastern's 3-1 defeat at the hands of Charge, sending the Shells to their second Champion's Cup
