Adeola Onikoyi bid farewell to his wife and kids as he boarded his private jet "Slim Shady 1" to Kingdom Brittania. He knew the environment was important and that was why he was attending this summit personally. This was his first summit as the President of Aljaharra and he was really excited. Next stop would be the Masquedez Palace Private Landing Site in Kingdom Brittania.

As soon as Adeola Onikoyi landed at the airport, he received the letter from the minister. He had to admit that these people were efficient. So, he made his way to the guest room with an entourage already waiting for him trailing behind him. He hoped the emperor was waiting to personally receive him at the entrance. He would prefer that to sending a minister or an aide.

We wanted for you to rest in our room specially made for your to be accommodated, for you to rest for a day before the actual meeting starts. Grand Duke Jason thought long and hard about the pros and cons of various methods of transportation before deciding to arrive in Kingdom Brittania via traditional means. Teleporting didn't always work properly, and would therefore be dangerous across such a vast distance, and the attention he would get from arriving on a broomstick would be unwelcome (not to mention a distraction from the important issue at hand). So, even though he hated the bloody things, he took a plane.

Once in the capital city -- which had looked nice, clean, and rather majestic from the air, and lost none of its grandeur from his new point of view on the ground -- he found the hotel and checked in. "I don't expect any trouble, but keep your eye open," he told his bodyguard, a tall, athletic-looking, olive-skinned woman wearing an eyepatch over her left eye. She nodded.

Jason sat down to wait for someone from the government to call and give him further instructions, then thought better of just sitting there twiddling his thumbs and turned to speak to his bodyguard again. "Florica? Get out the chess board and bring it over here, please." She rummaged in one of their suitcases, pulled out a chess set and brought it over, setting it on the table between them. While they waited, they would have a quick game or two.

(OOC: I wasn't sure whether to just act like the meeting had already started... let me know if this is wrong, and I'll change it. Also, a quick note: Yes, as I mentioned briefly, New Olwe is a predominantly magic-using nation. No, it shouldn't affect this RP one way or the other. I don't plan to have Jason use magic in this thread, and I haven't thought of a good way to apply his skills to help the environment in the long run, either.)

Because of the many nations that wanted to join, but they are late. The Great Emperor decided to move the ending date of the summit to September 10, 2009. The Emperor extends his thanks to the nations that wanted to join the summit. We thanked them for being concern to our world's present environmental problems.

Emperor Michael VI, personally visited the room, where Grand Duke Jason checked in. The Emperor wanted to personally discuss the diplomatic relations of the two country with the concern of the environmental problems that each country will face.

As the Emperor and his security arrived at the room where Grand Duke Jason. The Emperor ordered for a banquet for the leader and administrator of the country New Olwe. The banquet was very entertaining and the foods were all delicious, with the participation of the Minister of Environmental Protection and the Minister of the Empire, the talks between the leader of Kingdom Brittania and New Olwe continues.

The Emperor can't come personally to meet the representative of nation Haraq and the President of St. Anthony and Andrew, because of it, Emperor Michael VI ordered to his aide to bring the letter of the Emperor to the Nations Leaders and Representatives, who are participating in the summit.

"You are quite a gracious host, Emperor," Jason said. "I didn't know what to expect, having never dealt with your country before, but so far I'm quite impressed. I see the potential for our nations to be friends for decades to come." Even though he had served as Grand Duke of Olwe -- and, more recently, New Olwe -- since time out of mind, Jason had rarely felt comfortable in diplomatic situations. The great lengths to which the Emperor had gone to make him feel at home were much appreciated.

"So, what sorts of environmental problems are you facing here in Kingdom Brittania?" he asked. It was just idle curiosity that prompted the question... this topic would likely come up again at the summit the next day, and everyone in the room knew it. Jason was perfectly willing to answer the same question if it were posed to him... New Olwe had nothing to hide, unlike its notoriously secretive protectorate, Area Sixty-Nine.

A Malkovian ambassador shall be sent to oversee these proceedings.

His Majesty was grateful for the warm acceptance of the Grand Duke of New Olwe for the banquet prepared for him. To response with the question of His Highness, Grand Duke of New Olwe,The Emperor ordered for the environmental cases that Kingdom Brittania.
"The List Contains Some Serious Environmental Cases:
1.) Oil Spill in the Michael Paradise Reef
2.) Acid Rain, Resulting to the Sulfur Emission of Nearby Regions
3.) Mass Coral Bleaching, Resulting to 20% of the main reef system to be destroyed
4.) Global Warming, that causes Severe Hurricanes"
When His Majesty's aide said these worse Environmental Problem. The Emperor immediately become sad.
Because of the Emperor's Sickness. His Minister of State advised to end the meeting, so as not to trigger his illness.
"Sorry for the Disruption of the Meeting, but please meet the Emperor during the Summit, For Him to rest, You Know It's Hard to rule a big nation." said the Minister of State.

[New Olwe]

"Of course," Jason said, nodding to the Minister before turning to the Emperor as he was being escorted out and saying, "I apologize for any offense my question may have caused. I meant no harm." It was obvious the Emperor had been deeply affected by the reading off of his nation's environmental problems, and Jason felt personally responsible for this.

[Aljaharra]

Adeola Onikoyi felt quite welcomed as he entered his room. It was the Emperors aide and security team that checked him in, but he had no complains. He received the letter telling where the summit would hold immediately on his arrival. So, on the 4 of September, he made his way to the Palace. When he entered the conference room, he wasn't surprised to see that he was the first to get there. He sat down at the mini bar in the conference room and entertained himself with a shot of gin and lime, while waiting for the remaining representatives to arrive.

The Malkvoian ambassador slipped quickly into the conference room, sitting himself in a comfortable chair. As was his preference, no one at the conference knew his name, so if he was adressed it would have to as "honoured ambassador", or something of that ilk.
