Not sure this is the right board. But...
I recently got #264, "Not a Drop to Drink" (summary: there's a drought, you can 1. ration water, 2. import water from other nations, or 3. *crazy religious fanaticism*). Voted for water rationing. Oddly, it brought my civil rights down 7 points. Huh?
Conversely, I've recently allowed flag burning and polygamy (with same sex marriage, and apparently people marrying cats... ), neither of which brought my civil rights up at all (not even 1 point). I also got some other issue - forget at the moment, but it was a major civil rights thing and only brought my CR up 3 points.
So, how is it that 3 major CR issues would, combined, brought it up less than rationing water DURING A DROUGHT (!!!) brought it down? That makes no sense, and seems some of the issues need to be re-weighed. Technically, it's a stretch to call it a CR issue at all. Maybe bringing it down 1 or 2 points would be reasonable, but 7 points (more than 3 *actual* CR issues brought it up)? Something is obviously wrong with how issues are weighed.
aka: I don't like being an "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy" (boring).
