From the Department of Foreign Affairs
Welcome all prospective diplomatic partners!
Here you can apply for an embassy in the Emirate of Tarmeca. All embassies will be established in the city of Ar Basel in Tarm.
Details
Once your embassy is established, we will provide between 20-60 armed soldiers to guard and protect your embassy, Ambassador's residence, and Deputy Chief of Mission's residence (DCM). We will also provide drivers and bodyguards for both the ambassador and DCM, but these positions can be filled by natives from your own country if you wish. The Department of Foreign Affairs can also assist your embassy in hiring translators. We will provide your embassy with several armored vans and SUVs for transportation, but your Ambassador and DCM can each bring a personal vehicle as well. All embassy staff not including FSNs will receive Diplomatic Immunity, meaning that they do not have to be tried for any crimes committed in Tarmeca by the Tarmecan court.
It is possible for you to have your own military personnel in your embassy for protection as well Tarmecan soldiers. However, a special application must be filled out and approved by the Department of Defense before this will be allowed. A maximum of 30 of your own soldiers may live on the embassy compound to guard it if approved.
The Department of Foreign Affairs will also screen each ambassador before they are appointed, and reserves the right to veto an appointment of an ambassador that does not pass our background check. While this rarely occurs, all this will mean is that your government must appoint a different ambassador that is more qualified for the position.
