HISTORY/BACKGROUND
Fishian settlers arrived on the continent from Northwest Alaska about 109 BC. No formal territorial claims were made until 41BC, when Caveman Scalebump took possession of the Northcoast in the name of Great Alaska. Civil War erupted after the old ruler, Xavius the Great died, without any heir or living relative, being 201 years of age. The Fiefdom of North was founded, and, after an unstable rule of three successive assassinations of the Frederickson families, Old North Fish and North Fish split, North Fish being transported to the East Pacific and Old North Fish drifting (through continental drift) to the MSRS region via the Emperor’s Harem, where it remains today.

In recent decades, Old North Fish has transformed itself into an internationally neutral nation, but breaking neutrality in late mid-2011 to strip its responsibility of holding a regional bank after a major assassination following the Opening Gala Day and what was to be the end of the shortest era in ONF’s history, the Fiefdom was no more, and, in its stead, became hereafter the Kingdom. Old North Fish has sometimes fluctuated to the title of ‘Protectorate’ when under the protection or high-alliance with another nation, and can also become a Principality when the predecessor did not die of natural cause and the successor became abruptly placed into power. Although the ‘Protectorate’ status and ‘Kingdom’ status is used often, the ‘Principality’ is quite rare.

Geography
Old North Fish is mainly made up of savannah desert, subtropics, tundra, mountainous plateaus, ridges and flat grassland plains. There is an abundance of rivers, lakes, creeks, etc all throughout. Most of the southeast is dominated by densely populated colonies of Bigfoot, for they thrive within the tropical environment. The weather is mostly clear and usually fine, sometimes reaching extreme temperatures. The hottest temperature was 48^oC. The coldest temperature was -27^oC. The all year average temperature is 16^oC.
 
Maritime Claims/Territorial Sea: 3 nm (5.5km) NW/NE
 
Climate: Generally hot and dry in central and western areas, windy and chilly in north and north east, temperate, fine and sunny in the east and humid in the tropical south.
 
Biomes: New Settlement Territory to the west and most of Central Gillia is just grassland and desert plains. Tragnov is extremely cold and snowy, with mountains surrounding the North-Eastern state. Scalaw’s north is tundra because of Tragnov’s mountainous climate, but Scalaw’s east is grassy and fertile, with meadows and valleys and hills. To the southeast is the tropical climate, where Bigfoot thrives.
 
Terrain: Mostly ridges and rather steep areas to the tropical southeast, fertile/flat and some part hilly lands in east and central. There are snowy, mountainous tundra areas ine the northeast state of Tragnov. A few places have blizzards and avalanches all year and permafrost is not an uncommon sight. The bald-headed falcon and bare bottomed baboon abound in these places. Desert savannah plains in the west.

Land use/Arable land: 57% (includes about 173,000ha of cultivated scrubland), South-western plateaus used for rice-paddy farming.

Natural hazards: Tornadoes along north coast. There are frequent floods to the southwest and occasional snow avalanches in the mountainous southeast.
Currents and Winds: The Northern Great Sea Current floats past the northeast coast, and winds blow SW/SE.
