I just got back from Japan and atrophy had done the same to my Japanese. I was able to say hello, order food, say it was delicious, and say good bye. This made for a lot of good meals but little other direct interation until I remembered all I had forgotten.

Because to preserve my history I would have to speak Gaelic, German, Dutch, and English. I guess 1 out of 4 ain't bad
