International Peace Conference

I am writing this to propose an International Peace Conference. Although the Security Council is similar to the IPC it uses force to gain peace which is counterproductive. The IPC would use negotiation and peace treaties.

I dont get it. The SC uses force? In the form of what...sternly worded condemnations?

The UN SC employs private military contractors, perhaps a similar situation?

You need to work on the OP. Make it in the forum of a proposal, which you can find laying somewhere around WA forum, and fill it out.

(Sorry if this is not well writen. This is my first time but, this is important to me.)
Proposal: An International Peace Conference
Reason: To create and uphold international peace.
Further Description: Although the Security Council is very similar, it uses force. I know it uses force by it's footnote on the WA page. It says "Spreading interregional peace and goodwill, via force if necessary." I believe that force is never necessary when trying to uptain and hold peace between nations, for force is the oposite of peace. Therefore, the Security Council is counterproductive and should be replaced by an International Peace Conference.
