What is your favorite foreign music?

I go for pretty much anything in a foreign language. I like K-Pop and J-pop lots. I also like artists who sing in Latin languages. Carla Bruni is my favorite French artist, and I like Juanes and Shakira for Spanish.

I've got a fair bit of icelandic music.
But most of it's instrumental or sung in english, so it's no real problem.

J-Pop, K-Pop, Russian stuff, A LOT of Spanish/Mexican stuff, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic Pop.........most everything. As long as it bounces, and isn't overly rude, I'll listen.

I like Carla Bruni too! I guess most of the foreign music I listen too would be British, although I used to be really into Utada Hikaru, Faye Wong, and to a lesser extent Ayumi Hamasaki. Pop ballads by asian women used to be my thing. :p

A number of American and British bands of the 50s-80s, as well as a couple of German punk and metal bands.

Oh, and I love anthems and military marches from Europe. They tend to be quite stirring, unlike us Canadians.

Anarctica is uninhabited. When humans live there who aren't there only to work on scientific missions, perhaps someone will.

If it's any consolation I've got black metal from Kyrgyzstan, death metal from Botswana and powerviolence from Indonesia.

There will never be any x-pop on my computer, where x is replaced with the first initial of the nation of origin. Pop is bad for you.
