International Incidents Best MT Roleplayer Tournament
This tournament, largely inspired by Jenrak's Regional Tournament, is designed to pit the very best MT roleplayers against each other, to see who in fact many people believe to be the best of the very best. Nations will be voted on based on their body of work, their name recognition, and their usage of the modern tech setting for their roleplays.
The Voting Process
For the First Round, voting will be done via ballots similar to the Preliminary Tournament. You will post your ballot on the thread using the pre-configured form provided. This form will be used during the preliminary rounds, so please be cognizant of filling out your ballots correctly the first time. Because of the nature of the tournament, the process will be open longer than the preceding prelim rounds were. Also, if a tournament nation wishes to withdraw from the competition, votes will be disregarded, and their opponent nation will continue on in the brackets, just like the previous rounds.
Here are the first round match-ups, determined by random drawing...
Cyrupe vs. Leistung
Cyrupe is a 2010 nation from Azhukali, while Leistung is a 2009 nation, settled in the Tarquinia Region. Both areas are home to some of the most respected nations in all of NationStates, and so this match-up should come down to who can rally the most support from their respective regions.

Lamoni vs. New Nicksyllvania

Kraven vs. Anagonia-Yohannes
For the money, one of the most anticipated matches in the first round. Kraven has established a reputation as one of the most feared nations in all of the game, MT or otherwise, while the merged Anagonia-Yohannes has set the standard for creativity and presence over the last few months. If ever there were a match-up worthy of main event billing, this is it.

Jenrak vs. Oseato
This match was predetermined by nominations and by the preliminary tournament. Therefore, one may argue that these two nations have had the most impressive run leading up to the tournament. Jenrak scored more nominations than any other nation in the field, for good reason: no other nation conveys the same level of respect, fear, and admiration than Jenrak does. Comparatively, Oseato is a widely known and honored nation that burned through the competition with relative ease in the Preliminary Tournament. It's Conglomerate vs. ODECON, one time for all time in this highly anticipated showdown!
