Nodsliw's Nuclear Weapon Programme

Postby Nodsliw » Fri Apr 15, 2011 9:09 am

Secretary of State, Thomas Pollenger, contacts other nations:
Recently, as you may or may not know, Nodsliw began a "Nuclear Weapon Programme" for strictly defensive use. However, today in the Presidential meeting, it was decided by President Nodsliw and Vice-President Haven that the vote FOR or AGAINST the programme should be offered to the foreign nations. This, we understand, is unusual but due to the joint vote, it was undecided if the programme should progress. Nodsliw would appreciate any feedback on the current project, and any concerns can be handled by my very own State Department. The poll has been sent out, and the results will be shown in FORTY-EIGHT hours. Please let it be clear that Nodsliw accepts any national representation (like an ambassador) into this nation, if you have any concerns.

Thank you,
Secretary of State, Thomas Pollenger!

The Sultanate of Qatarab commends the nation of Nodsliw on its start of a nuclear weapons program. We,as a nation abundant in Uranium, have been able to advance significantly in the field of nuclear energy and weapons. We believe that you should be allowed possession of both defensive and offensive nuclear weapons however your status as a WA member may inhibit you from achieving such a goal. We wish it to be known that the Sultanate of Qatarab would gladly be willing to assist in such a program by sending scientists and engineers with sufficient knowledge to help. We wish you good luck with your program and remind you that we will be supportive of your program.

You hold the full right to develop nuclear weapons. There are so many nations who do that. It only matters how you use them, and even in that you can decide everything for yourself.

Asking the WA for permission would tbh a waste of the WA's time. The WA does only discuss these kinds of matters with fellow WA members, and even there member states have full freedom to develop nuclear weapons.

It might be benificial to ask another nation to help you. That would make the process easier and faster, considering the construction of nuclear weapons is a difficult task and experience of nuclear weaponary is important. If you want me to help you out, do not hestitate to contact me about this via TG. Such kind of cooperation would be very beneficial to us both.

Secretary of State, Thomas Pollenger, replies:
We appreciate the positive reactions and would like to thank those who support our project. With the current turn-out, it seems this project will be passed. Once the forty-eight hours are up, an official statement will be released confirming the acceptance of this project. Again, thank you. As for the foreign scientists coming to Nodsliw - we welcome them with open arms. Transportation and a facility for them to work at will be arranged after this project is accepted.

Thank you,
Secretary of State, Thomas Pollenger!

Thomas Pollenger states:
It seems Nodsliw will be heading for a good-day in its history. However, it is unofficial yet, Nodsliw seems to be heading for a Nuclear Weapon Programme, approved by the majority vote. As I said before; President Nodsliw will release a statement on the creation of the Nuclear Weapon Programme project. Thank you.
