Nitomian-Gibet will not be given up without it either being destroied as we leave or years after the peace treaty when Gibet might have the money to pay for part of the land. We were always willing to sell parts of north eastern Nitomian-Gibet. We would, however, not give up Corellia. It is the major oil producer of the area. If you, however, can give us land else where with the same importance we will be willing to give up Nitomian-Gibet.

Since I'm on my phone now and can't multi-quote, Nitom, this portion is for you.

You seem to be overlooking several important factors at the moment. First, OOCly it's Gibet's country. He can do what he wants with it. Meaning that if he wants you gone OOCly, you're gone, no arguments.

Two: Karma. What goes around comes around. While your troops are out leveling Occupied Gibet, other nations will be preparing to dismantle your entire military, by force, so thoroughly that it'll take decades to rebuild. Wonder how long it'll take for someone to pounce on you while you're defenseless.

Three: while your troops are out slaughtering, I (and likely others as well) will be bombing the hell out of your troops the entire time. Not to mention pushing forward with our own troops. And my country, for one, supports dealing with war criminals summarily. So those troops firing on civilians probably won't last long.

Lastly, Correlia will be mine, to be held in trust on behalf of the Gibetan government until the war ends. You can dig as deep as you want, or salt as much Earth as you can get your hands on, but it won't help. You can't be strong everywhere, while you're fighting off attacks on at least four fronts and your troops' supply lines are cut. Frankly, a good civilian uprising inn Occupied Gibet would probably be the death knell of the occupation.

Soon word of the possible loss of Nitomian-Gibet got to Ethans office. The order was then given to destroy all the roads and burn all the land and cities before they were abandoned. They would destroy everything. Also, all civilians would head striaght for the enemy troops to slow them down. Mixed into these groups would be explosives and sometimes small ammounts of units to hold up the enemy advance longer. Everything that the enemy could use would be destroied or taken with the Nitomian troops. Meanwhile, the Nitomian air craft and Nitomian war ships would try to make a hole in the enemy blockade to get troops out of Nitomian-Gibet. This would be a huge blow to Nitom, but, would be a even greater blow to the allied forces and Gibet in the long run. Corellia would be the greatest blow to Gibet. The oil fields there would burn for weeks if not months due to the massive ammounts of oil found there. The city it self would be burned to nothing but ash and dust.

The honorable Princes Electorate, the most revered Confederate senate and the noble Duchies of the Elbe are eager to register the official protestation of the Hardenburghian Confederation as a whole against the seemingly unprovoked and unrestrained aggression demonstrated by the Holy Empire of Nitom. It seems that the principles of self-determination and non-aggression, the forefront of foreign political interaction in this modern age have flown past the attention of the Holy Empire, which insists on following through a frenzied, primitive and maddened neo-imperialist instinct.

The Hardenburghian government unreservedly condemns the actions of the Holy Empire and demands that it instantly stands down any aggressive actions it is currently engaged in against the Empire of Reformed Britannia and strives for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. It would be impotent of the Hardenburghian government not to remind the Holy Empire of the Confederations continuing commitment to Article 3 of the Hardo-Britannian Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Friendship, as detailed below:

If forces hostile or neutral to the Hardenburghian Confederation attack Reformed Britannia then the Confederate senate reserves the right to revoke its said policy of Neutrality and enter the conflict with the aim of defending Britannian sovereignty.

OFFICIAL COMMONWEALTH COMMUNIQUE


The Britannian government, after enduring an unprovoked and completely uncalled for terrorist attack courtesy of the Nitomian government, is not inclined to accept a peace treaty that will effectively let Nitom off scot free-nor are we willing to let the people of Northern Gibet suffer continued tyranny under the rule of the Nitomian despot.

The forces of righteousness are closing in on the Nitomian military forces in Gibet from both directions. No matter how valuable Northern Gibet truly is to the Nitomian economy, is it truly worth the lives of the soldiers who will be fighting to defend such an investment-who will be fighting to 'protect' territory that their own government seized, territory which is not rightly theirs, territory which belongs firmly in the hands of the Gibetan people?

How willing will the sons and daughters of Nitom be to fight for a lost cause? Will they throw their lives away simply because their commanders tell them to resist the inexorable allied advance which will overrun the north of the country? Or would they prefer a much less destructive, a more peaceful way out?

That way out is what the Britannian government is currently offering. As of the issuing of this communique, Britannia's terms for peace are as follows.

• Nitom will return full control of all Northern Gibet to the Gibetan government.
• Nitom will return all 'prisoners of war' it has captured to their original countries. The allied nations will, in turn, release any Nitomian nationals in their custody.
• The government of Nitom will hand over the remaining perpetrators and planners who were directly involved in the terrorist attack on Britannia for trial, and will pay compensation to the families of both the hostages and FRU men who died during the rescue operation.
• The government of Nitom must also pay the mobilisation costs for the armies of the allied powers. This can be paid over time as opposed to a lump sum for convenience.

Our offer stands. As of now, our forces are prepared to liberate Gibet through force of arms if necessary; we implore the Nitomian government to accept this peace settlement so that a sense of normalcy can return to the lives of the citizens of all nations involved in this horrendous conflict.

After recieving the Britannian offer Ethan called Kegan to his office. After several minutes of talking the two men agreed to all but one of the terms. The term that was not agreed upon was the one concerning the mobalisation payments. After another twenty minutes of talking the two men agreed that they would agree to pay half of the mobalisation bills due to the fact that Gibet once it took back Nitomian-Gibet would be able to pay for the bills no problem and have planety of money left over to make Gibet an major economic power. Along with the restrictions from the second war on Gibets economy and military being lifted it would be more than fair.

Correllia, Nitomian-Occupied Gibet

The strategic port-city of Correllia was still realing from the last war and this one was not helping. With the Nitomians hard-pressed to keep-up the fight despite them being entirely out-numbered, and entire civilian populaces being driven towards the front, the populace in and around the city's strategic oil-fields suffered th worst. With Nitomian troops destroying every factory, oil-field, and strategic bridge or roadway, it was apparent that near-total war had been un-officially declared against the people undr occupation. This, coupled with years of growing tensions over their conquerors, was more than enough to set the plans into motion for an uprising.

It began when a number of civilians, some armed, began to protest the Nitomian destruction of many Correllian buildings and factories. As smoke and ash filled the air, shots rang-out from the small crowd. Even as they were (most-likely) gunned-down from being out-classed by Nitomian troops, the call had rang-out across the city. "Corellia Rise!!" The pot had finally boiled-over--metaphorically speaking. Everywhere, civilians took-up whatever arms they could get their hands on. Many hundreds stormed Nitomian Ammo-Depots in hope of over-whelming their defenders and securing better weapons and equipment.

Men, women, and children......all fought for their liberation. They were all betrayed, forgotten, abandoned; all brothers and sisters--rebels fighting for a cause worthy of bloodshed. Their price that would be paid would be the ultimate one--no one flinched or wavered. Everywhere, Gibetan flags will raised in defiance of their oppressors. This was the beginnings of a National movement. This underground was now and uprising--fighting back the shadows from within them. Hopefully, it would be enough.

Alexiandra, while glad that Nitom has surrendered to the allied forces, must make a query. The last communique that the allies received from a Nitomian source did not give much information as to the circumstances of its standing down, nor its withdrawal from occupied Gibet. In order to co-ordinate a smooth, uneventful demobilization, Nitomian authorities will need to give the allied nations times, dates, locations and means of Nitom's surrender. Planned retreat movements, a schedule for mobilisation repayment, and a full withdrawal of Nitomian naval units back to mainland ports is necessary to stop this resolution becoming a messy, disorganised affair. Alexiandra will not tolerate any further delays as far as Nitomian retreat is concerned, and we expect all hostile units to be demobilized and disarmed within two weeks. If these times are not met, we will treat this as a blatant reluctance to accept the treaty laid out already, and will resume combat operations against Nitomian forces. Also, Alexiandra would like to lay down its own set of terms for a peace between itself and Nitom. Firstly, we demand a reduction in the number of Nitomian naval units both in production and on active duty. Although the Alexiandran navy proved adequate to fend off Nitom's warships, we cannot tolerate a threat within The Alliance of Grand Powers itself. Furthermore, the government sees it fitting that Nitom should remove some of its nuclear arsenal from combat capability. The Alliance of Grand Powers should never again have to endure the threat of thermo-nuclear war simply because of the foolish and rash decisions of one of its member states. The region simply wishes to continue daily life unharmed, and Alexiandra will not allow Nitom to ruin that status. Finally, we would like Nitom to sign a treaty stating that in the event of Nitom becoming the Prime Minister of The Alliance of Grand Powers on the June 4th election, Nitom must answer to a council of AGP member nations so as to impede Nitom's ability to gain autonomy over the region.
