So would you rather nations die? Would you rather people not to try to remove the radiation? If so, than obviously you don't care about your people or other nations and instead, only care about money. That would be sad.

Yes, this, as opposed to dumping nuclear waste in an area, and not taking any action, and leaving the inhabitants to suffer the painful consequences of radiation poisoning.

However you lack a definition of what is harmful to a person, light nuclear radiation can sterilize someone, that could be seen as harmful, light nuclear radiation can be harmful to small minuscule particles of one's skin -- there is a whole lot of small things that could be considered 'harmful'. Is comfort being measured?

In Unibot, our drinking water glows green from all of the nuclear testing done by the enthusiastic arm manufacturing industry, one has to remember to wear proper radiological protective gear when going sunbathing, and yes -- we have a sterilization problem. But do our people want to leave this great land ? Maybe. But I think there are some who would prefer uncomfortably living in Unibot, instead of on a reserve, so they can live at home.

The Great Chiefdom applauds this resolution and its author. We have thus registered a vote for this resolution on the floor.

We consider the opposition to this resolution to be unreasonable and unjust. We, the World Assembly Ambassadors, already have enough trouble writing up a proposal, and getting other Ambassadors to support it. Define and set out clauses and articles clearly, and you'll have a set of ambassadors going up in arms about their entire nation populated by flying ducks, duck-billed platypuses, cackling hens, two-eyed humans and whatnot, and how the proposal would adversely affect them. Leave articles and clauses vaguely, and another set of ambassadors are up in arms over how unclear, undefined and prone to misuse the resolution is. The unwritten consensus that has formed in all of the years of the WAGA's (and the NSUN's) existence was to write up a resolution with clearly defined clauses, but having enough middle ground to be left to a nation's interpretation.

We note that the Nuclear Disaster Response Act is an example of such a piece of legislation, and a finely crafted one as well. Therefore, Travancore-Cochin shall vote FOR.
A. Parameswaran Nair,
Ambassador from Travancore-Cochin to the General Assembly.

It's not the only resolution that has encountered obstacles from the fourth dimension, honoured ambassador...

I urge you all to vote against this legislation! Who is going to pay to establish the ndro and etc? The people!!! this would go against the WA taxation ban. Wouldn't it? :?:

Where does it say that the WA collects taxes directly from citizens, honoured ambassador?

Similar to any other organization-establishing resolution, all funds used to carry out the obligations of this resolution will come from the WA general fund, which is not collected from direct taxes on citizens.

whether there would be any future debates on this matter ( radioactive )
or nuclear

we should look at both angles

A.will it be good for us as energy consumers?
b. what will our children become in the near future?
c. where to have it installed or requested apon

i.e. war breaks out what will be the target? of course all nuclear plants

who will lead the nuclear disaster team for any spilling of illegal dumping

should there be permits set aside and investigated every 6 months then who will pay for that or will there be more useless taxation!

After reviewing the NDRA, Moverans have spoken, and they have decided to vote FOR this piece of legislation. Perhaps we care to much about panicking the people in these times.

Could Your Excellency elaborate as to which aspects of this resolution are not to the Armed Republic's liking?

I must congratulate to how well this resolution was written, now that it has passed and I am for certain that it will go well as a good companion to WA GA #51.
