Repealing laws in our nations

Postby Galonica » Tue Mar 15, 2011 1:55 pm

Is it possible to repeal an undesirable law in our nation?
If so, how?
If not, can somebody try to do something about that?

It's only possible to do so by waiting for that issue to come again and selecting the correct one, or an option in another issue that basically repeals it.

If you're talking about changing the issue after it has been put into effect, you just have to wait for the issue to come around again. If the issue hasn't been put into effect( as in: you've said your response, but the issue is awaiting legislation) you can change it.

But this is NS related. This is a NS related thing. This is a NS player.

Sadly, at this point in time, you have to wait for the issue to come around again if you want to change a law in your NS nation. Sadly further, some issues disappear from the schedule of issues after being answered only once, making some laws, at this moment in time, virtually permanent. The programming of NS needs desperately to be updated and corrected.

Yes it does. Thank you for responding and take a look at Placing an Embassy in Galonica in the Factbooks and National Information section. Someone in the WA should petition for a grace period after a legislation is passed to repeal or amend it.

Uh, no. anyone who submits a proposal to change the game in that manner will find their proposal deleted for a Game Mechanics violation. The proper place to suggest changes in how the game works is the Tech forum.

Besides, even in RL nobody instantly repeals legislation, so having to wait for an appropriate issue to come up is actually fairly realistic.
