Noobubersland wrote:Aren't all Finnish songs drinking songs?

As J&D already said, they're either about drinking or depression. And then you have the odd occasion when Finns to try to sing in English...

Anyway, here's a translation.

I drink everything. I drink all my life.
I drink my neighbour's booze .
I drink my wages. I drink my retirement.
My wife's inheritance I also drink.

I drink apartments. I drink forests.
I drink the land, I drink.
I drink my farming vehicles. I drink my horse.
Dogs and Cats. I drink lots and lots.

I drink. I drink. This boy drunks.
I drink. This boy drinks.
I want to swing like a crazy drunkard.

Hey Hey! Lets drink again!

I drink to a hangover and when I'm drunk I drink
And when I am sober I drink
I drink a little, I drink
And again, I drink

I drink in a major scale. I drink in a minor scale.
I drink in alcohol.
Until I deposit my account
And in the garage I drink

I drink. I drink. This boy drunks.
I drink. This boy drinks.
I want to swing like a crazy drunkard.

Hey Hey! Lets drink again!
Hey Hey! Lets drink again!

And if the Finnish lakes do not change to booze.
Then i'll realize,
You could fill Pelkosenniemi (a town in Finland) with the booze.
And you could drink to Vuotoksen (a river in Finland).

But still that would not get us far enough.
How about fill whole world with booze
And I could drink the whole world in a bottle.

I drink. I drink. This boy drunks.
I drink. This boy drinks.
I want to swing like a crazy drunkard.

Phew! That took a while!

It looks of chocolate; it smells of chocolate; it tastes of... well, nothing, really. Maybe some malty sweetness here or there, but there isn't much.

Maybe if they named it Young's Triple Chocolate Stout, it'd taste better. Or maybe I got a bad batch from the tap. BeerAdvocate seems to say that I did.

I was actually about to mention that RIS is probably my 2nd least favorite style of beer, edging out the Beer Pong style by a wide margin.

I've tried Old Rasputin and Stone's 2011 RIS release (that I saved in a fridge for 6 months), and I think one more (that I can't remember), but the taste is just too funky to me. Something about all the malts and hops at once... maybe my brain just needs more time to get accustomed. Or it's just getting overloaded.

It's London Porter that which was aged and fortified with honey, it was then exported and sold to the Tsar's. They prefered it to Vodka. It has a pleasent honey after taste.

10 is just... crazy, from what I remember. So much malt and licorice.
