Lochinver Ordnance, abbreviated as LORD, is a firearms and defense systems manufacturing firm based in the Central Highlands of the Lochinver Republic. Perpetuating highlander tradition of professional weapons crafting and masterful precision, LORD hand-assembles all of its firearms, and puts all of its weapons through mud, ice, heat, sand and water immersion tests; and magnetic particle inspection, using state-of-the-art testing equipment to detect flaws in the metal. Every weapon is proof-fired to tests functionality, accuracy, and reliability. LORD's Research & Development Department work constantly, providing all other branches of the firm new technologies, whether it be an advanced synthetic composite body-armor material, or new early air detection systems. LORD possesses 25 locations within the Lochinver Republic, ranging from firearms manufacturing plants, to administrative offices, to airfields for aerospace technology production and testing. Owned partially by the Republican government and partially by a group of privately trading investors, LORD ultimately answers to the customer, sworn to provide satisfying service, and a superior product.
Constituted in the fall of 1832 to aid the government in providing for what would be the Winter Civil War of 1832, the Lochinver Ordnance Company originally produced prototype repeater rifles, breech-loaders, and spin-stabilizing rifle shells for the Union Army, renowned for their specific products' quality over those of the major national armory, Midlands Armory, which largely mass-produced weapons. Since, Lochinver has been the soldier's favorite arms producer, providing the government with arms and munitions through 2 domestic conflicts and 6 foreign conflicts, growing in size to its current size of 400,000 employees and 25 field locations. After Lochinver's entry onto the nuclear development scene in 1982, LORD gained a ballistic missile and nuclear technology research and production branch, developing the entirety of the Republic's nuclear stockpile.

In addition to a quality design and testing process, Lochinver Ordnance has one of the finest accounting and customer service departments. All billing is handled by LORD’s skilled accounting department, eliminating the need for customers to, “do their own math.”
