Merkut had had enough. His mountain was being attacked again by those villagers, and for what? The demand of a human sacrifice once a month? There were hundreds of people there! They wouldn't miss one!

They had gotten together in a ragtag bunch of misfits. What good media it might make! Of course, that was assuming they were successful. One man led them on a rescue mission for the latest sacrifice: The king's daughter. Merkut wouldn't eat her, humans had too little meat and too much insides to be tasty. He'd simply deposit her on a cliff and scare her off. The man's name was St. George; he was riding a bright white horse in full plate armor. He yelled something and turned his horse toward Merkut. Lowering a lance, the Saint put the horse into a fast trot, then a dead-on sprint. He clearly meant to impale the dragon. What a poor try at heroism. Merkut didn't take into the air, simply watching the man charge forward in amusement. When the lance was just about to hit, he sidestepped it with more grace than was becoming of a ten-metric-ton dragon, and used his wing's claw to grab the lance and point it into the dirt. St. George flipped into the air and landed very hard. Merkut reared back and stepped on the little human: the suit of armor did nothing to stop him.

The motley rabble of villagers watched in amazement; no doubt the Saint promised to bring the dragon back, meek as a dog, and slay it for some random religion. Merkut snorted and turned to the villagers, still watching a hundred meters away. One man stepped forward. "No!", he shouted in anger. Merkut approached, amazed himself anyone would stand up to him. Everybody but him backed away. Merkut him, "Why do you believe in yourself? The spears of march come to impale." The man didn't say anything, so Merkut turned to walk back - 'Accidentally' shattering the man's ribcage with his tail. Order was restored.

Benjamin Silva floated through the empty reaches of space. Beside him, Gunther Hardstriker the Berserker floated with him. Silva's magic kept them breathing. Gunther scratched Silva behind the ears, and Silva's tail curled up as he purred. The berserker looked at him strangely.

"I shall never get used to that."
The small cat flipped onto it's belly. "What?"
"This is your true form?"
"Yes."
"I watched as you slaughtered a thousand of the Frost Giant King's elite Housecarls."
"So?"
"You were a twelve ton armored monstrosity that stood hundreds of feet tall and breathed fire."
"I also do Ice, Water, Wind, Electricity, and Acid."
"You convinced a hundred more to commit suicide by throwing themselves off a cliff."
"They had weak minds."
"Now you are a two pound house cat."
"Your point being?"

Gunther sighed and they kept floating. It seemed like they were traveling rather slowly, but the pair was being pushed by microsopic asteroid fragments. The rock condensed into plates that pushed the pair along.

"Where does it all go anyway?"
"What?" Silva asked.
"The extra mass."
"Another dimension."
".... Oh."

Rak Dakar lounged in his lair: a large, hidden cellar beneath the city above. He was surrounded by luxurious food, comfortable furniture, and the best she-slaves money could buy. He had everything that a wererat could ask for and more... but something just didn't feel right. For weeks he had felt this feeling of unease. This feeling of restlessness. This feeling of... emptiness. The truth was, he didn't want these creature comforts. What he wanted was to be adventuring again.

Life is good, he thought, patting his stomach (which was much too large as of late). But staring death in the face is still better. I need to get out of this hole. I need to travel. The guild won't miss me while I'm gone; I'll just put J'rok in charge of operations. He can handle things.

Rak pushed himself up to a sitting position and then stood up slowly. He walked out of the room, and along a narrow corridor. He followed it to a room and, unlocking it with a key that he procured from his belt pouch, entered. The room was full of his old adventuring gear. Thieves' picks, leather armor, daggers, a rucksack, some non-perishable provisions, a fire-building kit... the whole nine yards. Donning his equipment, he set out for the exit to his thieves' guild's complex network of corridors. Meeting his second-in-command, J'rok, on the way out, he left his instructions and then left, leaving his lackeys staring in wide-eyed wonder. What's come over him all of a sudden? they all thought.

Rak emerged into the sunlight. Squinting, he adjusted the brim of his hat. He hated the sun. Looking left and right, and muttering an "eenie-meenie-miney-moe" under his breath, he set off in a random direction. Casually picking the pocket of the first commoner that he encountered—he had "forgotten" to bring traveling money along with him—he left town and started walking down the road into the wide-open countryside. He expected to reach the next city by nightfall.

Kerinstav looked out through the large window infront of him, of his fortress of a dragon's den. He layed on top of a large pile of whatever Kerinstav thought was valueable. Near anything really, things like art work and small shiny trinkets to large jewels and bricks of gold or silver. Money and riches is what Kerinstav was after, not like other dragons who would want only things like a good home cooked meal from a local town's selection of the finest citizens.

Kerinstav had gotten to this point in life through hard work in the merchant sector of jobs and deceitful illusions, it was his natural calling in life. But in all, waiting for his employees to come back with news of the markets was quite boring. Kerinstav stepped off his "collection", his body skinny and frail, but eloquent, with a strange black smokey substance being emitted from his flesh. He wasn't quite sure what the smoke was or where it had came from, but it had appeared after Kerinstav had begun learning shadow magics from his, now, long dead parents. His body weaved itself out of and inbetween the ruins of the fortress and then to the courtyard. Kerinstav looked to the sky, jumped, and with one swoop of the wings, was in the air. As he flew, though unlikely, he wondered if any other dragons were in the area. If only to converse to pass the time, not to murder and steal from like he usually did.

Alex kicked one of his sparring partners to the ground before swinging his longsword at another opponent and bashing his shield into the chest of another sending the man flying into the wall of the arena "Come on! Stay light on your feet or a dragon will sweep you off of them!" shouted Alex as he used the edge of his shield and slammed into one of the men's stomach sending him to the ground "Good, keep practicing." Alex finished as he removed his leather gloves and stuck them in between his belt before leaving back to his quarters. As Alex walked down the large dark gloomy corridors of the fortress he encountered one of the servant's that kept track of everything in the fortress "Lord Auridge. Lord Auridge, can i have a moment of your time?" asked the servant as rushed up to Alex "What is it?" asked Alex as he opened the door to his living quarters "There is talk that a dragon is terrorizing some villagers. St. George was killed by this dragon named Merkut." finished the servant as he looked Alex "I will go to this village and see if this dragon terrorizing this village or just lying." said Alex as he entered the his quarters and closed the door in the servants face.

As Alex closed the door to his living quarters he took off his sparring armor before walking over to a bowl of water and cleaning himself of his sweat, after quickly cleaning himself he walked over to the armor stand that sat in the corner of his quarters and moved his finger tips across the cold metal of the armor and smiled "Summoned to kill dragons and Daeomons once more." Alex said to himself as he pulled his heavy plate armor off of the armor stand and donned it. Alex looked into the eye holes of his helmet and stared at the darkness within the helmet for sometime before sliding his helmet on and leaving his quarters, as he left the same servant from before ran up to him and was carrying his longsword, shield and lance which all carried the coat of arms from Auridge's family "Here you are my lord." said the servant nervously as he held out the personal weaponry of Alex "Thank you." replied Alex as he grabbed his longsword and sheathed it before grabbing his shield and strapping it to his back. "Is my horse ready?" asked Alex as he pushed open the large oak doors of the fortress and headed towards the stables "Yes, your horse as been saddled and it is waiting." replied the servant as he watched Alex open the stable doors and mount his clydesdale warhorse "Thank you. You may leave now." said Alex as he grabbed his lance from the servant and spurred his warhorse and took off out of the fortress, the banner catching the wind as he made his way down the road.

Adolphus sat on a cushioned chair, enjoying a truffle as the undead captain gave his monotonous report. A few more villages raided, the dead bolstered the ranks. He perked up upon hearing about dragons in the area. They were facinating creatures. He decided to send a messenger to one of the dragons, who had killed a saint george. The message consisted of good tidings and an offering of friendship.

A small blue planet floated in the upper left corner of Silva's vision. The darkness of space had become so dreary, it would have been hard to miss it. Silva turned to Gunther.

"Heads I eat it, tails I save it from whatever evil is inhabiting it."

Gunther nodded and pulled out an ancient silver coin. Silver was Silva's calling card. Every world he visited he left some chosen goodly mortal a dragon's horde in silver. Or if he ate the world, an exact replica, minus the inhabitants, made of silver. This one particular piece of silver was enchanted to land accordingly to Silva's own deepest wishes. It also was indestructible, but that was another story. For another time. Gunther flipped it, and the magic of the coin made it as though the force of gravity was acting upon it. Tails landed upward.

Silva shrugged. "Save the world it is." The two turned, and were propelled at almost ten times the speed of light toward the blue planet. That said, it took them a few minutes to arrive. They slowed down as they entered the planet's atmosphere, and stopped a few miles above the ground. Off in the distance, Silva watched as a dragon ate an armored knight. Closer, another dragon was terrorizing a small city. Silva rolled his shoulders and smiled.

"Big me or little me?"
"Little you. It's more intimidating when a two pound cat utterly destroys a dragon."
"True, but I'm in the mood for shock and awe."
"Hey, it's your body."
"Damn right it is!"

With that, Silva began to change. The air around him shimmered, and what replaced the cat was nothing of the sort. It was a twelve ton hundred foot tall humanoid figure. It wore gigantic armored plates, which contributed to the weight. In each seam, green fire blazed with the heat of a thousand forges. Silva's eyes glowed a far deeper shade of green. He had decided on Acid to kill this dragon. Below, the seven ton Blue looked up at the challenge and screamed its own. Silva unsheathed a massive sword from seemingly midair, but was actually another dimension. An empty one except for a few of Silva's arms and armor, along with a good portion of his hoard. The blade was half Silva's height, fifty feet. The hilt added another fourteen and a half feet to it's length. Silva swung it in an arc, and launched himself at the Blue.

A few streams of electricity shot forth, but Silva parried them all. He then swung the sword in a massive, unrelenting arc, which sliced through the dragon, cutting it in half. Silva grabbed each half as he banished the sword to it's home dimension. Holding the two halves of a dragon, Silva squeezed, and they vanished to the same dimension as his sword. He would add them to his combat form later, gaining another two or three tons of mass, to be proportioned as he saw fit.

The guildmaster looked sullenly around the guild. He had gathered everyone to the central hall, ready to give a small speech. He silenced them with a wave of his hand. "Listen up. As you already know, we have found a large number of monsters who seem to be gathering. We know now that they are gathering around here." He pointed to a mountainous area of the map at the front of the guild hall. "You are all prepared to depart, correct? You have twenty minutes to get everything you need and have yet to obtain, and then meet back here, ready to depart."

Pedro looked at the circular image before him. "...and then meet back here, ready to depart." He closed the image, reminding himself to open it again in twenty minutes.

A gentle noon soon looked down upon the peaceful village of Silas. People went about their day-to-day chores: watering flowers, trimming tall grass, feeding livestock, and hawking their wares. Everything was serene, everything was perfect.

But not for long.

At the fringe of the forest bordering Silas some half mile away, the trees bristled with unsheathed weaponry and the ground swarmed with at least a hundred thousand hulking, green-skinned warriors: Orcs. At the head, a huge armored figure crouched, arm resting on a knee while the other gripped the massive haft of a war axe. Keen and fiery eyes glared down at the docile village, whose population was so blissfully ignorant of what was about to descend on them. Lips forming a slit, he whistled harshly, and the lines of his horde -- the Earthstalker horde -- rustled with the sound of checked equipment and drawn weapons. They were ready.

And then Varok Earthstalker gave the command. It was as if the forest itself had come alive, for miles across hulking green beasts poured forth from the trees with savage battle cries in their guttural native tongue, singing songs of war and of victory and of violent bloodshed. They swept into Silas with ease: there was no guard posted -- none had ever been needed. Some had torches in hand, and those were plunged into the sides of the wooden huts and on top of their thatched roofs.. soon Silas was a nightmare of bloody death and burning destruction. With a force over one hundred thousand strong, a small village such as Silas was child's play, a conquest lasting on minutes that did nothing but increase Varok's already insatiable hunger for bloodshed. The heads of humans: men, women, and children alike -- had been skewered on the heads of pikes and embedded to form a ring around the village. All would know who visited Silas that day: Varok Earthstalker and the Earthstalker tribe. Scourge of the North, and now Conqueror of the South.

Serenity was having a blast in Russia. Literally. She was in the frozen waste land with a target and her powers. She would send burning fireballs at it and watch the target repair itself. She had created the target so she wouldn't have to go and buy new ones. She focused her energy and made this fireball bigger and hotter. She heard sizzling and she laughed.

She sent the ball around the target and when it didn'y turn away from her when she sent it she ducked into the snow and covered her head, it whizzed by and she jumped up, sending a blue burst of light at it and it exploded. She then laid back into the snow to cool her off and she got up again, mumering a word and the target collapsed and went into her book bag.

She then walked to the east and then after a few minuets sighed and said a few words in latin and she floated and sped to the nearest village and stopped about a mile out and walked into the village. People looked at her like she was crazy, because all she had on was her pants, tank top, cloak and no shoes. Her glasses were on her head almost frozen and her skin was still pale and not red. She ignroed them and went into a bar and sat down. Shaking the snow of her and looking around. If someone were to touch her they would feel heat coming off her that melts the snow she is walking on. It keeps her warm and her blood flowing at a good pace.

ONe dude walked up to her and askled her to dance. She shook her head and spoke russain back to him. He got angry and asked again, stress in his voice as he tried to remain clam. She turned and looked at him, uncrossing her legs and crossing just her ankels. Her eyes were of grey around the iris and a haunting color of dark blue around the grey. She said no again in russian and when he went to grab her she jumped off her chair and grabbed his wrist and twisted it behind her back, she felt something against the back of her head and turned, seeing a spear against her head.

She heard a sizzling this time and ball of red light was behind that guys head and she looked at him sideways. He winked an eye and she ducked quicker than you could think and the guy with the light thing threw it forward and burned the guy with the spear. He went down and the guy that asked her to dance was scared as hell and looked at her. She looked back and threw him out of the bar and yelled at him in russian to never come back when she is here. The guy with the hood came up and introduced himself.

"My name is gregor, miss."
"I am Serenity."
"Nice to meet you."
"The pleasure is mine."
He chuckled and lead her out of the bar and soon they dissapeared in a cloud of snow and were on their way to England.

In england they arrived at her house and he walked up the stairs as she undid the lock with a spell and walked in, taking his cloak and hanging it up as well as hers. He looked at her like she was something else and he was about to say something but she walked off to the kitchen and got a cup of tea and handed one to him as well. She sat down on top of the counter and he pulled up a chair and they began talking about spells and looking through her spell books.

The road was paved with stone, but that did not hinder the elements of nature to cover the road in grasses, weeds or tree stumps which had been cut down due to them growing out of the paved road that led to Silas. Alex looked around at his surroundings as he spurred his Clydesdale war horse one more time and rounded a hill that overlooked the village of Silas "My God. What as happened here?" Alex whispered to himself as he saw the many heads of men, women and children skewered on top of pikes that circled around the village of Silas. As he neared the village of Silas he could smell the iron from the blood and sighed as he rode up to one of the pikes and pulled the head of the pike and examined it "Skin is pale and the lips are hardly blew." said Alex as he threw the head to the ground and tightened his grip around his lance "This happened just recently." Alex said in surprise as he took a quick look around himself before dismounting from his Clydesdale and stabbing his lance into the ground before unstrapping the shield from his back and sliding it onto his left forearm before gripping the handle of his longsword and quickly pulling it out of its sheath.

Alex took a step away from his Clydesdale and felt the dirt underneath his foot depress "The ground is soaked in the blood of the villagers." Alex said to himself as he walked over to a nearby hut and kicked open the simplified door and walked in with his longsword resting on his raised shield. As Alex entered the hut he saw the decapitated bodies of family laying strewn across the floor of the hut "Must be Orc's." commented Alex as he stabbed his longsword into the ground before kneeling down on one knee and grabbing one of the headless corpses and taking a look at the neck "Most definitely Orc's." said Alex as he let go of the corpse and stood back up and left the hut "There's only one tribe that surrounds the village in piked heads." continued Alex as he sheathed his longsword and quickly pulled his lance out of the ground before mounting his Clydesdale war horse.

Black smoke billowed behind Kerinstav as he flew, his search for company had been fruitless as of now. But then something caught his eye, a village ringed with the severed heads of it's inhabitants. Silas, was what came to his mind, he had set up a trade post here in the guise of a human merchant known as Vanderbilt. Kerinstav knew very well that this was the doing of orcs, to him they were savages, but they also meant no one would be in the village to stop him from looting it.

The black, shadowy dragon landed down upon a ruined stone church, the landing causing the bell tower to tip and crash onto the street below. "Subtle," he said to himself, he would've alerted anyone to his presence, although to him everyone was dead that had lived in Silas. Kerinstav jumped off the church and into the village street, and began snooping around for something of value, maybe some books or maybe some dead family's relics.

A black smoke filled the air as a black dragon landed on the small church in the village of Silas "A dragon." Alex silently said to himself as he raised his lance into the air and pointed it at the dragon "Dragon! Leave now!" Shouted Alex as his Clydesdale war horse reared back its two front hoof's pawing at the air "Begone dragon! Leave the Village of Silas!" ordered Alex as his war horse stopped rearing back and aimed itself at the black dragon. As Alex waited for the black dragon's actions he couched his lance under his armpit and held it level so it was as flat as a table, after couching his lance and saying a quick prayer he looked at his ring of strength that was hanging from his neck "Guide me through this fight." Alex whispered to the ring as he looked back at the black dragon.

The war horse pawed at the ground with its front right hoof and began to neigh as it was nervous of what was to come, "settle down." said Alex as he gripped the reigns of his war horse tightly and looked at the black dragon once more before saying his battle rite "Lo there do I see my father. Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers. Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them,in the Halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live...forever." said Alex as he said the beginning softly then got louder to the end.

Kerinstav looked up from digging in a pile of destroyed bricks and building stones. He was suprised that anyone was in Silas, especially a knight. It was strange to him that a knight was here, in the middle of a village destroyed by orcs. Kerinstav gave Alex the best smile he could, it would be more frightning than friendly, he was a dragon of course, but Kerinstav wasn't one for fighting.

"Now why is it that we have to fight, young knight? Couldn't I leave you to your business, and you to my own? Is that so hard?" the dragon questioned his knightly adverzary. If talking himself out of a fight didn't work, kerinstav would have to resort to using illusions, which worked best only on the weak minded and uneducated.

"You are in a human town and the guild does not look to kindly to a dragon near towns." replied Alex as he watched as the dragon gave a weird frightening smile "I can't leave you to your business because the guild doesn't look kindly on dragons. Now leave this town or I must fight you!" yelled Alex as he continued to watch the black dragon carefully making sure to keep track of what movement the dragon was making.

As Alex waited for the black dragon's decision he noticed that his war horse was jumping a little, "Clam down. soon this will all be over." said Alex as he patted his Clydesdale on the side of the neck before turning back to the black dragon "Leave now or I must fight you." Alex yelled again as he tightened his grip around his lance before say the battle rite over and over in his again.

Not the answer that Kerinstav was really waiting for.

"I have profit that can be made from the ruins of this village! And with a larger hoard for myself. This town is no more, no reason to guard and protect that which is not holy or uninhabited. How about you leave human?" Kerinstav threatened, the skinny and frail black dragon showing his teeth, illuminated by the light of a low fire in the back his throat. Mostly for show, really.

But more was needed. Kerinstav used his shadow magics to project a bigger, badder version of himself that was circling Silas up in the sky. Hopefully for the dragon, Alex would fall for the trick.

"Profit! I don't care if you have profit to be made from this village or not. If this village is uninhabited then we will rebuild like so many others that have been destroyed by dragons or hordes of Orcs!" shouted Alex as he watched the frail and skinny black dragon show his teeth. Alex watched as the black dragon seem to get bigger and began to circle around the village of silas up in the sky. "You do not scare me dragon! Death before dishonor!" shouted Alex as he raised his lance into the air then pointed it at the black dragon.

Wow... He fell for it, I'm amazed!

In reality, Kerinstav was still on the ground, not up in the sky as what Alex was seeing. The dragon himself was only doing half of the work, he had suggested the image of a bigger version of Kerinstav to the human. Then from there if Alex accepted the illusion (which he did), then said illusion became very much real to those veiwing it.

Kerinstav quietly made his way from being infront of the knight to behind him, careful not to make a noise. If he slipped up, the reality of the illusion would break down. After which it would be extremely hard to set up the suggestion of a second illusion. The black dragon then projected the false dragon having landed a couple of ruined building over. Kerinstav was going to have fun with this.

Alex watched as the false dragon seemed to get bigger as it seem to land on a couple of ruined buildings next to him "What how did he get bigger?" Alex asked himself as he remembered the dragon being more skinny and frail the first time he met the dragon "Illusions! Back away from me dragon!" shouted Alex as he thrust his lance in front of him then behind him trying to get the black dragon to back away from him and his war horse "Enough of this sorcery!" yelled Alex as he stretched back his arm and thrust to the left of his before swinging his lance over his war horse's head stabbed to the right of his body "I will not fall for this sorcery." shouted Alex as he spurred his war horse and took off with the illusion still in effect.

As he moved away from Alex, Kerinstav felt like bursting with laughter. He had thought that this knight would have realized that the entire false dragon was an illusion, but no, the knight had gotten it in his head that the false dragon was Kerinstav only bigger.

Kerinstav, the real one anyways, took to the sky. Fly up in the air, watching the knight charge at the false Kerinstav. Then the dragon stopped the entire illusion altogether. The black dragon laughed, "Silly little meat snack in a tin can, you fell for that trick so badly. For that laugh I'll leave this village, hope the rest of the Guild isn't this stupid!" Kerinstav then turned and began the flight back to his ruined fortress of a den. But in the back of the dragon's mind, Kerinstav thought, what if the knight follows me to my den?

Spetznaz Assault Teams wrote:A small blue planet floated in the upper left corner of Silva's vision.

Rak Dakar had arrived in the city earlier that day, and had been fattening his purse for the past few hours. The citizens all around him were in a panic, and thus, were careless and vulnerable to thieves. Rak would've never thought that a blue dragon attack could be so profitable to him!

Suddenly, the commotion and panic around him subsided, replaced with a stunned silence. Rak turned around, witnessing a huge beast--nearly fifteen times the size of the dragon--cleave the winged monster in half! The dragon seemed to vanish into thin air, and the giant beast paused for a second. The citizens of the city burst into mixed expressions of emotion--some cheering gleefully, some screaming even more than they had at the dragon. Rak seemed to be the only quiet one. He was thinking deeply.

I came in search of adventure, didn't I? he thought. And I certainly don't fear for my life. I think I'm going to follow that thing. What've I got to lose?

Mind made up, Rak approached the monster quickly. He wasn't worried about being detected; he had a way of escaping people's notice (especially when in the midst of a crowded city, full of what looked like ants to the monster). He dashed for the beast's foot. Right as it began to lift its leg to take a massive forty-foot stride, he jumped for its heel and caught a nitch in its armor. Transforming his hands and feet into the claws of a wererat in order to better grip the thing's foot, he scrambled up the armor on its lower leg and settled into a comfortable, man-sized gap in the armor. The heat radiating off of the inside of the thing was almost unbearable, however; Rak made a mental note not to accidentally roll in close to the thing's skin. All that was left for Rak to do now was wait, see where the beast would take him, and hope that it wouldn't notice him any more than it would notice a speck of dirt.

Serenity had fallen asleep on the couch and the man was gone. She had made him leave a few hours ago because he was being rude. She felt a pang in her left temple and looked on her map. A spot on the map was glowing and she got everything ready and put her book bag on before she touched the spot and dissapeared out of her house. She stayed perfectly still when she landed/appeared a few feet above the ground. She felt light headed as always and a little off balance but soon after a few minuets she was running down the sidewalk to the commotion.

She turned a corner just in time to see someone chop a dragon in half. She stood alittle dumbfounded and saw a man running towards the guy. She mumered something and followed silently. She saw him transform and she stopped again. This was getting a little more wierd. Even for her. She looked at the giant and mumered a few words. She soon was floating off the ground and soon at eye level with the humanoid figure.

"What are you doing here?" It was a question to some but a demand to others.
"The world is full of stupid people, get used to it."

Silva rolled his massive shoulders and muttered a few arcane phrases in a language that had never been heard on this planet before. With that, he shrank instantly to his normal form. The small cat perched on Gunther's shoulder in the blink of an eye. The cat licked it's paw and started to wash it's ear as Gunther walked down the road.

Rak uttered an exclamation of surprise as the monster whose heel he was perched on shrank to an average-looking human. Not even noticing the small housecat nearby, he trotted after Gunther.

"That was incredible," Rak exclaimed to Gunther. "Pray tell, how did you manage to morph like that? What great power you have, slaying a dragon like that!"

As Rak spoke, he sized up Gunther, trying to decide whether or not picking the person's pocket would be worth it.

Silva let out a purr of amusement. Gunther laughed and held out his hand. The small cat leaped off his shoulder and into Gunther's hand. The cat's next leap brought it out into open air, where it was replaced by a handsome male human.

"Haha, aha, aha." The man was laughing. Gunther had joined in, and the two paused for a moment, looked at eachother, and laughed again.

"I apologize" said Silva, "but my friend here is no more magical than a river rock. As you have probably guessed, I'm the one who killed that dragon. Most irksome really, but my battle form gained a few tons added to its armor, so no harm done. My name is Silva, this is Gunther."
