Those are not our objections. Our objections stem from the fact that this resolution codifies into law what Reasonable Nation Theory would suggest anyway, and does so in a way that may block further requirements of recognition of foreign marriages. Since when are all World Assembly member states reasonable? How will this resolution "prevent any real acceptance of full marriage equality from taking hold" when it expands the number of marriages that receive legal recognition? "Marriage equality" for whom? People who want to marry siblings or pets?
