Storylines

Reformation Fever

Ah, we all thought the Cam.H.L, Now the Bartewick Financial Premier Class (BFPC or Barfin Premier Class), would never change. We were so wrong. Now, the Camian Hockey governing body is named simply the Hockey Association or TheHA, and it's top tier will have 16 teams! Supporters claim that the BarFin Premier will be the biggest most dominant league in the world.

Last Time?

John Moncrief has hit the age of 37, with one year remaining on his contract. After suffering two minor concussions in the the last two seasons, Moncrief is wary of rumors of his exit. However, a lot of pressure is on him to win the upcoming BarFin Premier Season and the upcoming World Cup of Hockey.

Moncrief has said nothing about retiring, he reportedly spent countless hours at a message therapy clinic over the off season. His wife, Janet Moncrief (32) is expecting a baby boy by the end of this season. Having a child may encourage him to quit hockey and spend time with his family.

The Romans are Coming

A large amount of amateur hockey players from San Pellegrino Romana have signed with newly formed clubs for this upcoming season. The most appealing of which is star Goaltender Mario Merletti. The "Catholics of Camwood" organization is appalled because many of these players are homosexual, which is fairly common in San Pellegrino Romana. TheHA simply replied that they do not discriminate among Race, Sexual Orientation, Wealth, etc.

New Teams

Many new teams are being added to the league to fit the 16 team projectile. They are:

  • Agristino Crop
  • Northmont Blizzard
  • Kanston Hurricanes
  • St. Edward Bears
  • Henrysburg Tigers

Some of these teams used to be part of the AAA Class, and Some of them our purely new.

Season 4 Results

The Fourth Season of the Camian Hockey League, now the BarFin Premier, has occurred. Very Few rarities took place but the races to qualify for the playoffs were very tight. Janta Bay beat out Yellow Beach by four goals to grab the Southern Division fourth seed. Petmonton beat out Port Kostas on a head-to-head tiebreaker, since the goal differences were exactly the same.

Many teams made their Barfin Premier Debuts, including the hyped Nattas Heat, who snagged a second seed in the South. The North brought heart break for the new clubs as they all had off par performances.

Montreek's farm team, the PK Sailors took the AAA win against a tough Delacuse HC attack. The AA version of Petmonton, the Smithsboro Titans received the grand prize with a one-win lead over the PFI Navigators, a Compolis owned team.

Nattas Heat 0-3 New Athens Warriors [New Athens Warriors leads series 4-0]

It took the entire series to decide the Northern Division Champions over the course of a very close race. In the South, the Warriors took the series with ease, producing a goal difference of +16, no goals against what so ever. John Moncrief got what might be a final bite of heroics as he scored a hattrick in game one and in game two.

DANIEL CUP FINALS

New Athens Warriors 2-0 Port Kostas Mates [New Athens Warriors leads series 1-0]
Port Kostas Mates 0-2 New Athens Warriors [New Athens Warriors leads series 2-0]
New Athens Warriors 1-1 Port Kostas Mates (2-1 OT) [New Athens Warriors leads series 3-0]
Port Kostas Mates 0-2 New Athens Warriors [New Athens Warriors leads series 4-0]

In a not-so-epic series, New Athens swept the Mates and only allowed one single goal. John Moncrief was in tears as he scored the final goal, was presented the Series MVP and was presented the Daniel Cup. He says he is greatly debating his own retirement, but nothing is set-in-stone as of the moment he was interviewed.

Three, a lucky number for some, a jersey number for others. Nonetheless, this is in fact the third season of the C-League and Camwood is ready for football. Get Ready for Football!

Championship Contenders

The championship race is hard to predict, but fascinating to watch. Many teams could pull it off but no one has better odds than the championship defenders, New Athens United. New Athens has a decent mix of domestic and foreign talent. Edgar Houston and Jason Li make up a phenomenal attack which helped New Athens lead the league last season in points for. Manager Nicholas Bentaly is the slightly unsuccessful manager of the Camian U21 team, but nonetheless, led his team to a title the previous season.

The Dynamo, the Vanler Dynamo, made a bold move this past off seaosn and traded away two aspiring players in exchange for one Caleb Benson. Benson has on and off the national team and is yet to make a name for himself. But with a franchise with the history of Vanler, great legacies are easy pickings.

It's one thing to come close to taking the championship, but to tie, and loss by goal difference, that stings. Inter Compolis has truly come too far to turn back; it's a make or break season for the blues. However, after being idle among an action filled off season, Compolis make encounter off-par results. Talent is a tangible asset that must be invested upon to receive success.

Victor Giles possibly is a bad, bad person. Following his sale from the Port Kostas Strikers, investigators are on the verge of filing a criminal charge against him, not to mention countless pending civil cases from the school which he coached and parents. However, Giles is in Darmen, and getting him back to arrest may be difficult, and getting political asylum from Darmen maybe an easy way out for Victor. Port Kostas may fall in the standings, after losing a key member to their squad.

Henrysburg posses a great outside threat to at least qualify for UICA competition. Andrew Sandy is on a fast path back on to the World Cup roster, and money from championships can generate a lot of cash towards the transfer funds. If PK really fails, expect the Bees to take their place.

Clemson FC's back to the top tier, and they are ready to battle. After aquiring a couple of U21ers with great potential. Also, their manager, Dustin Wells, is on the verge of releasing a new book about Camian football that may change the way the game is played.

As the league has an alarming amount of players over 30 years of age, injuries have been plentiful. Thomas Jacoby is on the Doubtful injury status after sustaining an ankle injury in Matchday 3. Jeremy Arnolds has been out with issues with his thigh from day four.

Jason Li and Edgar Houston have carried forward last season's attacking assault to this season. New Athens has tallied thirty one goals for. Leonard Rossi and Jeff Cecil has also lead a great attack, giving the pair a combined 18 goal this season.

On the other hand, the Henrysburg defense, lead by Andrew Sandy, has been spectacular. Only seven goaals have been allowed this season. Also, the strikers' defense has been faring well with the absence of Victor Giles. Fredrick Candell, the Port Kostas Keeper, has had a remarkable first half, recording eight clean sheets. Meanwhile, Thomas Jacoby is reaching the end of career and has four clean sheets.

John Moncrief is now 36 and still playing hockey. After facing elimination in the World Cup of Hockey, Moncrief stated in a public comment that he would play through the rest of his contract, which has two seasons left on it, and then reassess the situation.

Many offseason international transfers have been made. Civil Citizenry and Camwood exchanged a few national team players during the WCoH. Camian teams have also been able to snag a few players from Cotdelapoms.

Brian Wesbrooks, a scholar turned hockey player, is preparing to have a vibrant season with the Montreek Camians. Wesbrooks is a top player as predicted by the website fantasycentre.cmw.

CONTENDERS

New Athens Warriors
New Athens has been dominant forever. In the Olympian Centre Arena, New Athens has won three straight championships. The new ideology is “Anyone but the Warriors”. The question is, will New Athens ever not win the championship?

Petmonton Oil Rigs
The little engine that can is the Rigs. Petmonton has a lot of unused talent. They drafted star youngster Jacques Morrlean right from the Cotdelapomais minor league. Fan base patience’s are wearing thin, can the Rigs finally win a Daniel Cup?
Star of the Show: C Jason McDonald

Montreek Camians
The nation’s favorite, the Camians are poised to win. After the edition of a Cotdelapomais forward, and a Cotdelapomais goalie, Montreek is ready to run with the big dogs and make a splash this season.

New Athens made quick work of the Clemson Sens by only giving up one goal throughout the series. Nattas and Yellow Beach had a decent bout, but Nattas came up on top after six games. Port Kostas swept Compolis which shows that the Cats still have room for improvement. Brian Wesbrooks and the Camians came out early to win two games in the series, but then lost for straight as Jason McDonald released his overtime heroics in Game Six of the series.

Port Kostas Mates 3-0 Petmonton Oil Rigs [Port Kostas Mates leads series 4-3]

It took six games for New Athens to deliver their lethal blow to Nattas, and Port Kostas had to use seven games to retire the rigs. Nattas center Keith Gates was able to help Nattas pull though by using his young talent in shootout situations. The Northern Division finals was a battle of the netminders because six out of seven games were shutout for either team.

New Athens Warriors 1-0 Port Kostas Mates [New Athens Warriors leads series 1-0]
Port Kostas Mates 0-0 New Athens Warriors (0-1 OT) [New Athens Warriors leads series 2-0]

Port Kostas Mates 0-0 New Athens Warriors (0-0 OT, 1-3 SO) [New Athens Warriors leads series 4-0]

Not Adding Up

"...Missed by a wiska!" to quote an anonymous commentator from CSNN radio after witnessing how close New Athens Warriors' netminder, John Haroll, to making a vital save in the Olympian Centre Arena. It was so close indeed, that single goal kept New Athens from playing Port Kostas in the Champions' Hockey League final.

Despite missing out on a chance to put Camwood within the record books, a clear dominance has been made by the Camian Hockey League, formerly known as the Bartewick Financial Premiership. For the previous four straight Champions' League tournaments, including the current one, Camwood has had a team in the final every single time, and won the deal once out of three, since the fourth will actually occur shortly. However, new faces are in the finals. For once, instead of New Athens, the Port Kostas Mates, who have been BarFin Premiership runners up for two years running, will get a chance to put Camwood on the map.

So how come our league is so good, but our national team does't want to perform. Age. It's as simple as that. In the BarFin Premiership, young talent can easily flourish, you can tell by the shear performance of the Nattas Heat in the previous two seasons. Anthony Weir, has been goalie of the year both of the past two seasons on behalf of the Heat. He's only twenty three. So why isn't Weir on the national team? The Scouting Committee for the Camwood National Hockey Team has a tendency to hold on to the past; to hold on to elder players who are pretty good but have been around for awhile. If the Scouting Commitee would be open to include some of the younger talent, the National Team may have more success.

As the Bartewick Financial Premier Class gets more competitive, the national team won't be able to keep up. So, the national team Scouting Committee for TheHA must open their eyes to the younger players, that way we can build a brighter future for our World Cup of Hockey performances.

Telecate League Season 3 Results

What used to be the Thomas Automotive Rugby Union League has been renamed after Thomas Automotive folded and was bought out by the DaRarri Auto Company. It's new sponsor is Telecate Communications, which is Camwood's largest telecommunications corporation. The league itself will be known as the Telecate League which has expanded greatly thanks to the new sponsors. Now, twelve team will take place in a doublle round robin season, followed by the top eight teams battling it out in the AalbergPettersen Trophy.

The battle for first overall was close indeed. The Runners Up, Nattas, were two points off the Port Kostas Bruisers. The Bruisers had a phenomenal amount of points against: 86. The full back Brad Garrett takes a lot of credit for that since he was voted Back of the Year. Compolis RFC were very close to reaching that second seed; the lost just one to many games. A draw and about fourty extra points could have boosted Compolis into that third seed.

Controversy arose mid season as North Shore's manager, Benjamin Wells, apparently paid his players an extra $10,000 dollars out of his pocket for hitting five people in one game. The CRF dropped these charges saying, "[Benjamin] Wells incented and rewarded players for performing well, not for hurting opposing players." Critics state else wise.

CHAMPIONSHIP RACE

Image
INTER COMPOLIS
  • Location: Urbalyn (Compolis), Camwood ~ Compolis Coliseum Cap. 41,500
  • Manager: Jake Graton
  • Nickname: 'The Blues'
  • Formation: 3-4-3
  • Key Player(s): Jeff Cecil, Kevin Torress
  • Foreigners: Gaxan Echabeguren (Iturributan)
  • Predicted Finish: First
  • Comments: At last, the mighty Kevin Torress has come back from North Woodlands, in Civil Citizenry. After receiving an offer from nearly every club in the league, Torress chose Compolis. Now, he'll team up with Jeff Cecil to become a driving force for the championship. The Blues have a very good chance to bring home the championship for the second time in two seasons. Compolis also was able to snag the Iturributan goalie Gaxan Echabeguren from the Astograthian league to help on defense. Inter Compolis also re-branded over the off season. The three rings on the logo represent the three boroughs of Compolis: Wesley, Josephine, and Urbalyn.

Image
PORT KOSTAS STRIKERS
  • Location: Port Kostas, Camwood ~ Portside Arena Cap. 34,000
  • Manager: Kirby Hurst (Citiz)
  • Nickname: 'The Strikers'
  • Formation: 3-5-2
  • Key Player(s): Leonard Rossi
  • Foreigners: -None-
  • Predicted Finish: Second
  • Comments: After Arnur Jarntur's retirement, Port Kostas is a little short on defensive talent besides Frederick Candell who hopes to capture the starting gig on the Camian national team. Leonard Rossi hopes to set his sights on getting a championship, and have a break out year before Kevin Torress steals the show. In other striker related news, Kirby Hurst was signed from Civil Citizenry, and his managerial expertise is expected to greatly boast the club's performance.

Image
NEW ATHENS UNITED
  • Location: New Athens, Camwood ~ Olympian Centre Cap. 63,000
  • Manager: Nicholas Bentaly
  • Nickname: 'The Scholars'
  • Formation: 4-4-2
  • Key Player(s): Jack Gibson
  • Foreigner(s): Edgar Houston (Citiz)
  • Predicted Finish: Third
  • Comments: New Athens is doing well for talent supply and they sure wheeled and dealed over the off season. Keeper George Webber transfered out to Saugeais, and Edgar Houston's contract was extended through the sixth season. New Athens is a little bit weak on the defensive end but it will be interesting to see how Jack Gibson and Edgar Houston will connect.

Image
VANLER DYNAMO
  • Location: Vanler, Camwood ~ Dynamo Dome Cap. 55,000
  • Manager: Henry Telison
  • Nickname: 'les rouges' (French for 'The Reds')
  • Formation: 3-4-2-1
  • Key Player(s): Alec Taber, Caleb Benson
  • Foriegners; -None-
  • Predicted Finish: Fourth
  • Comments: Vanler isn't as much of a premier club without Thomas Jacoby and Kevin Torress. Jacoby went off to Dominion in Hamilton, Cotdelapoms, and Torress returned to the C-League but ended up in Compolis. Alec Taber and Caleb Benson will be expected to carry the load for Vanler's attack, while their defense shows next to no promise what-so-ever.

LEAGUE COVERAGE

HENRYSBURG FC
  • Comments: Henrysburg is a pretty talented team for just coming from AAA two seasons ago. Andrew Sandy is a great centre back, and in today's C-League a lot of elite teams are short on backs of any kind. Henrysburg FC has a shot at actually qualifying for UICA competition this time around if they can get to the leaders of the pack.

SPORTING WHITE ROCK
  • Comments: Sporting is barely hanging in there. Justin Kiplin is just one poor finish away from being sacked from the club and perhaps the national team. However, White Rock was able to snag a striker from Saugeais named Jason Devereaux whom hopes to jump start the Sporting attack. White Rock also signed rookie keeper Zachary Owen out of Sam Dell University who controversially opted to not pursue a medical school course.

YELLOW BEACH UNIVERSE
  • Comments: Universe has had talent that's been disposed of over the years, critics joke that Yellow Beach is a feeder system for the more elite clubs. Jason Cox and Michael Cook who were traded to Yellow Beach from Vanler are starting to blossom, but aren't much in spite of leading a very average attack last season.

THE REST
    8. F.C. Nattas
    9. Montreek AC
    10. Delacuse United
    11. Janta Bay Sharks FC
    12. Kanston Dynamo

Now We're Balling

Highlights
  • New Professional Basketball league is being formed
  • Fourteen teams, with seven in two divisions
By: Alex O' Harold
May 29, 2012
Basketball

After a few unimpressive years of amateur basketball which was way less competitive then the under hyped collegiate versions, professional basketball is on its way to Camwood.

It has long been needed, but until now, nothing has come up. Fourteen teams split into divisons made up of seven will form this new league. The most important part of this is the name: A very generic Camian Basketball Association. The CBA, which is literally born in the dark last night, has come forward and stated that official sponsorship for the league maybe sought out for, but no official work is to what the premier level of play will be named.

It's a great improvement from that ratty old amateur, four team league, with players that weren't worth anything. Now, youngster from college will raise the bar this first season, in hopes that some foreigners will show up the next to make things interesting. Anyways, after lame experience in post-college hoopps, all i can say is "Now we're balling".

Camians Prep to Compete in Citiz Circuit
Posted by: Will D.
5.30.2012 @ 12:03 PM

As the Citiz tennis administration elected not to run the International Tennis Association again, they instead decided to host a series of domestic tournaments open to internationals. Camian tennis talents have seized the opportunity and are ready to do battle on the courts!

Part of me wants to write a kids' book about the Camian entries to the Citiz Championship Circuit. There's new players, old players, hot players, and most of all "meh" players. Camian tennis players have never been the creme of the crop, but none the less the Camians hang in there when it comes to international rankings. In summary, Camian players are average, which is good if you can develop your players.

Standing out from the crowd is the youngster by the name of Sam Miller. Miller came out of collegiate tennis with a couple D1 titles in singles play, which is pretty impressive. Miller isn't the hardest hitter, but can place the ball wherever he desires. However, a very prominent figure in Camian tennis is being quickly discarded. Trevor Arnold is getting old, but at his prime he was in the better half of ITA rankings. He has good backspin, which is about all that's left of him.

On the feminine side of things, a two girls are showing off their skills in the Citiz land. Ashley Little, the winner of the latest Camwood Open women's singles, is not only making revenue via winnings, but has struck gold with her body. Regarded as a very attractive female athlete, Little is on her way to becoming a superstar. Shame, it'll get in the way of her play. One of the most likely prospects, Helen Tyson, is still in college, but is bringing home titles left and right. The has the division one singles and doubles prize.

The CCC is coed, which may pose a threat to the lady contestants. I am not sure what the CTA's reasoning is behind that, but in my opinion, I'd keep things gender specific. However, male or female, it looks like the CCC will be very benefricial to Camian tennisers (ha! New word!) and should help overhaul the Camian talent.

League Report

MATCHDAY 1
Inter Compolis 5–0 Port Kostas Strikers
New Athens United 0–0 FC Nattas
Yellow Beach Universe 3–0 Montreek AC
Sporting White Rock 0–1 Vanler Dynamo
Janta Bay Sharks 1–0 Delacuse United
Henrysburg FC 0–0 Kanston Dynamo

Zeros showed up across the score ticker today, as every game ended in a shutout for somebody. Kevin Torress returned to the C-League with a bang, he and Jeff Cecil both had a brace each. New Athens surprisingly wasn't even able to get a goal past the FC Nattas defense, which has alas risen to the Premier Division. Universe was able to take care of Montreek by putting up a three-blank score. Vanler and Janta Bay allso had a win.

MATCHDAY 2
Port Kostas Strikers 1–2 Kanston Dynamo
Delacuse United 0–2 Henrysburg FC
Vanler Dynamo 2–0 Janta Bay Sharks
Montreek AC 0–2 Sporting White Rock
FC Nattas 0–4 Yellow Beach Universe
Inter Compolis 1–2 New Athens United

Port Kostas looks as if they are going to continue to struggle after being beaten by the Kanston Dynamo, who are no where near the level of play of the Strikers. Henrysburg, White Rock, and Vanler both won with a score of two-nothing, Universe beat FC Nattas by four goals also. Jack Gibson had a brace in his match against Inter Compolis.

MATCHDAY 3
New Athens United 0–1 Port Kostas Strikers
Yellow Beach Universe 3–2 Inter Compolis
Sporting White Rock 1–0 FC Nattas
Janta Bay Sharks 0–0 Montreek AC
Henrysburg FC 0–0 Vanler Dynamo
Kanston Dynamo 0–0 Delacuse United

Port Kostas finally got a win, but Inter Compolis lost their second straight match to fall to eighth on the table. White Rock beat FC Nattas, and everyone else had a non-scoring draw. Very uneventful day in the C-League.

MATCHDAY 4
Port Kostas Strikers 0–0 Delacuse United
Vanler Dynamo 2–1 Kanston Dynamo
Montreek AC 1–0 Henrysburg FC
FC Nattas 2–1 Janta Bay Sharks
Inter Compolis 4–3 Sporting White Rock
New Athens United 1–3 Yellow Beach Universe

P.K.S. had a draw with Delacuse which shows the Rossi and his crew have room for improvement yet, Vanler continues to stay hot with a two-one win over the Kanston Dynamo. Montreek and FC Nattas had their first Premier Division win. Kevin Torress worked his heroic side and scored a last minute goal against White Rock to push Inter up to a .500 winning percentage. Universe beat a very subtle New Athens team to stay undefeated and atop the table.

MATCHDAY 5
Yellow Beach Universe 2–0 Port Kostas Strikers
Sporting White Rock 3–1 New Athens United
Janta Bay Sharks 0–3 Inter Compolis
Henrysburg FC 2–2 FC Nattas
Kanston Dynamo 1–0 Montreek AC
Delacuse United 1–2 Vanler Dynamo

YB still has it going after Michael Cook, a nearly unknown striker before this season, had a brace in a two-nothing shut out against Port Kostas. White Rock's Jason Devereaux had a hat trick against an in-a-slump New Athens. Compolis and Iturributan netminder Gaxan Echabeguren shut out Janta Bay to get a good jump towards first overall. Nattas and Henrysburg drew while Kanston and Vanler got a one goal win each.

MATCHDAY 6
Port Kostas Strikers 0–2 Vanler Dynamo
Montreek AC 2–2 Delacuse United
FC Nattas 1–0 Kanston Dynamo
Inter Compolis 3–1 Henrysburg FC
New Athens United 0–1 Janta Bay Sharks
Yellow Beach Universe 2–2 Sporting White Rock

Vanler picked off Port Kostas who sit in eleventh with one win, Yellow Beach remains somewhat undefeated after drawing with White Rock. Cecil had a brace in a three-one win over Henrysburg, Janta Bay, whom were expected to go nowhere, beat New Athens and sit in seventh in the table. Sporting

MATCHDAY 7
White Rock 3–2 Port Kostas Strikers
Janta Bay Sharks 0–0 Yellow Beach Universe
Henrysburg FC 0–2 New Athens United
Kanston Dynamo 1–2 Inter Compolis
Delacuse United 1–2 FC Nattas
Vanler Dynamo 0–0 Montreek AC

Yellow Beach drew again, and now are tied with Vanler for first. Port Kostas lost yet again, and allegations are beginning to surface that manager Kirby Hurst is intentionally trashing the squad. New Athens finally won putting up two goals against Henrysburg, and Inter Compolis continued their win streak after Torress cashed in to get a brace. Nattas was able to beat Delacuse on the road and Vanler came up short of getting first against Montreek with a draw.

MATCHDAY 8
Port Kostas Strikers 1–0 Montreek AC
FC Nattas 4–2 Vanler Dynamo
Inter Compolis 2–0 Delacuse United
New Athens United 0–0 Kanston Dynamo
Yellow Beach Universe 1–0 Henrysburg FC
Sporting White Rock 2–1 Janta Bay Sharks

P.K.S. got their second win against Montreek to push themselves out of the relegation zone...for now. Nattas' attack went rabid as they scored four goals against Vanler who may or may not being losing their shine. Inter Compolis now has a four game winning streak and moved into second and are only two points off of first. Yellow Beach hung in to get a one-zero win against Henrysburg, and White Rock had a two-one win over Janta Bay; White Rock is winning .714 and sit in fourth, the third and final Globe Cup spot.

MATCHDAY 9
Janta Bay Sharks 1–0 Port Kostas Strikers
Henrysburg FC 1–1 Sporting White Rock
Kanston Dynamo 0–3 Yellow Beach Universe
Delacuse United 0–4 New Athens United
Vanler Dynamo 0–2 Inter Compolis
Montreek AC 1–0 FC Nattas

Janta Bay narrowly beat Port Kostas to put the Strikers back in the upper relegation berth, Yellow Beach, New Athens, and Inter Compolis all got clean sheets. Montreek had a narrow win over FC Nattas is in the shiny new "The Stable" stadium.

MATCHDAY 10
Port Kostas Strikers 0–0 FC Nattas
Inter Compolis 3–1 Montreek AC
New Athens United 1–1 Vanler Dynamo
Yellow Beach Universe 4–2 Delacuse United
Sporting White Rock 0–2 Kanston Dynamo
Janta Bay Sharks 1–2 Henrysburg FC

Inter Compolis continued their winning streak, but made no progress table-wise because Yellow Beach also had a win. Port Kostas drew with Nattas, and New Athens drew with Vanler in the Olympian Centre. Port Kostas and Janta Bay shined the most this season, both won either thirty games or more. New Athens also did well winning twenty eight games; their point guard Drake Sizemore won this season's MVP prize. Compolis did very poorly, despite being expected to win the Court Championships. The Nets' starting center, Blake O'Borne, will likely seek playing foreign league sense his current team isn't giving himself room to shine.

Season 4 League Report

MATCHDAY 11
Henrysburg FC 1–3 Port Kostas Strikers
Kanston Dynamo 0–1 Janta Bay Sharks
Delacuse United 0–1 Sporting White Rock
Vanler Dynamo 1–1 Yellow Beach Universe
Montreek AC 1–5 New Athens United
FC Nattas 1–2 Inter Compolis

Port Kostas is hopefully on their way back up the table after Leonard Rossi got himself a brace against Henrysburg. After Yellow Beach's draw with Vanler, both clubs are tied at 27 points. New Athens walked right over Montreek AC to end the day's festivities. So, at the halfway point, things are starting to heat up.

MATCHDAY 12
Port Kostas Strikers 2–1 Inter Compolis
FC Nattas 0–1 New Athens United
Montreek AC 0–2 Yellow Beach Universe
Vanler Dynamo 4–2 Sporting White Rock
Delacuse United 0–2 Janta Bay Sharks
Kanston Dynamo 0–0 Henrysburg FC

Port Kostas suddenly is coming back up the board after beating Inter Compolis 2-1 at the Portside Stadium. Yellow Beach once again has a three point lead over Compolis after beating Montreek by two goals. Vanler also made a statement today by saying they want a piece of the championship race as wel by beating White Rock 4-2.

MATCHDAY 13
Kanston Dynamo 0–1 Port Kostas Strikers
Henrysburg FC 5–1 Delacuse United
Janta Bay Sharks 0–9 Vanler Dynamo
Sporting White Rock 0–0 Montreek AC
Yellow Beach Universe 4–0 FC Nattas
New Athens United 1–2 Inter Compolis

It looks like Port Kostas might try to do the impossible after hanging on to what is now a three game winning streak. It turned out to be a very unlucky matchday 13 for some teams seeing that Delacuse lost 5-1, Janta Bay lost at home 9-0, and FC Nattas was walked over by Yellow Beach. Compolis alos was able to beat New Athens to finish up today's news.

MATCHDAY 14
Port Kostas Strikers 3–0 New Athens United
Inter Compolis 0–1 Yellow Beach Universe
FC Nattas 2–2 Sporting White Rock
Montreek AC 2–1 Janta Bay Sharks
Vanler Dynamo 3–1 Henrysburg FC
Delacuse United 0–3 Kanston Dynamo

Kirby Hurst and Leonard Rossi are really starting to pull the strikers, but Compolis is in somewhat of a slump after being beat by Universe; Compolis is now six points away from first place Yellow Beach. Vanler almost has a chance now to overtake Compolis and move into second; they are two points behind Compolis. Dynamo beat Henrysburg 2-1, by the way. Port Kostas has gone from zero to hero on the table; they are now in fifth, two points behind the lowest UICA seed.

MATCHDAY 15
Delacuse United 2–1 Port Kostas Strikers
Kanston Dynamo 1–1 Vanler Dynamo
Henrysburg FC 2–1 Montreek AC
Janta Bay Sharks 1–2 FC Nattas
Sporting White Rock 0–7 Inter Compolis
Yellow Beach Universe 0–3 New Athens United

Delacuse, of all teams, was able to snap the Strikers' win streak by getting of a one-zip win. New Athens was completely able to blank Yellow Beach by scoring three goals and letting in none. However the day's largest suprise was Inter Compolis' seven goal win in the Ice Bowl against Sporting White Rock. That put Compolis back in arms' reach of YB.

MATCHDAY 16
Port Kostas Strikers 2–1 Yellow Beach Universe
New Athens United 1–1 Sporting White Rock
Inter Compolis 1–1 Janta Bay Sharks
FC Nattas 0–2 Henrysburg FC
Montreek AC 2–2 Kanston Dynamo
Vanler Dynamo 3–0 Delacuse United

"Wow" is the one word that describes today's matches. Port Kostas somehow managed to beat Yellow Beach, and Inter Compolis only could draw with Janta Bay, that means that the difference between YB and Inter is two points. New Athens and White Rock drew, as did Kanston and Montreek. Now, Port Kostas is in fourth, about nine points away off of third place Vanler Dynamo.

MATCHDAY 17
Vanler Dynamo 0–1 Port Kostas Strikers
Delacuse United 1–0 Montreek AC
Kanston Dynamo 0–1 FC Nattas
Henrysburg FC 0–1 Inter Compolis
Janta Bay Sharks 1–1 New Athens United
Sporting White Rock 6–1 Yellow Beach Universe

And it has officially happenned, Compolis is back to the top table, after Yellow Beach got drilled in the Ice Bowl 6-1. Port Kostas, despite beating Vanler 1-0, dropped down to fifth place in the standings. Delacuse beat Montreek 1-0, however both team are likely to relegate. Lastly, Janta Bay drew with New Athens to get to ninth on the table.

MATCHDAY 18
Port Kostas Strikers 0–1 Sporting White Rock
Yellow Beach Universe 0–1 Janta Bay Sharks
New Athens United 4–1 Henrysburg FC
Inter Compolis 2–3 Kanston Dynamo
FC Nattas 0–1 Delacuse United
Montreek AC 0–1 Vanler Dynamo

Port Kostas might not break into the Globe Cup zone just yet after losing to White Rock. Janta Bay, who has been rarely covered this season was able to overtake Yellow Beach. New Athens dominately overtook Henrysburg by three goals. Inter Compolis was upset last minute by Kanston Dynamo. Delacuse and Vanler both won by a score of 1-0.

MATCHDAY 19
Montreek AC 0–1 Port Kostas Strikers
Vanler Dynamo 1–0 FC Nattas
Delacuse United 1–2 Inter Compolis
Kanston Dynamo 0–1 New Athens United
Henrysburg FC 3–0 Yellow Beach Universe
Janta Bay Sharks 2–0 Sporting White Rock

Vanler has risen into second and are currently two points away from Inter Compolis. New Athens, White Rock, and Port Kostas are all in a three way tie for fourth place.Today's action included minimal victories for Port Kostas, Vanler, Compolis, and New Athens. Henrysburg was able to beat Yellow Beach by three goals as well.

MATCHDAY 20
Port Kostas Strikers 1–0 Janta Bay Sharks
Sporting White Rock 2–2 Henrysburg FC
Yellow Beach Universe 2–2 Kanston Dynamo
New Athens United 2–0 Delacuse United
Inter Compolis 2–1 Vanler Dynamo
FC Nattas 0–2 Montreek AC

THE STABLE (CAP. 47,000) ~ NATTAS, TEXERTA
Given the name, "The Stable" in honour of Nattas' equistrian racing industry, The Stable is Camwood's newest football stadium; its construction was completed prior to the start of the fourth C-League season. The Stable seats 47,000 spectators, and has about 2,000 people worth of standing room. The stable is home to the Nattas rugby union team, the Nattas Buckers gridiron football team, and of course, the Premier Division squad, FC Nattas. The Stable sells all of Camwood's notorious match-watching foods including to-die-for soft pretzels and root beer, both made fresh and of finer quality then you'd expect of average stadium concessions. The Camian Association Football Administration hopes the UICA committee kindly takes into consideration The Stable's bid for the hosting rights of the Globe Cup Final.

Season 1

After a long time, Camwood has a professional baseball league...again. The Camian Elite League is made up of three division with five teams each. The regular season entails four, three game series against division mates, and a pair of three game series against each inter division counterpart. The playoffs will encompas each division winner, and a wildcard consisting of the best team which has not won their division. All the teams will play in a single elimination knockout tournament made up of five game series.

It was a great first season for Camian baseball. The Port Kostas BlueSox had the most wins this season: 62. Their division mates, the Compolis Forms, came home with the Wildcard seed and won sixty games, more than any division winner except for Port Kostas. The tightest race was in the Southern Division when the Clemson Ministries beat out Janta Bay with a one game advantage.

The statistics race this season was pretty mediocre. Hayden Holmes had the season's most Homeruns and RBIs, with 30 and 85 respectively. The batting average leader was Kyle Murphy, who hit .345 at the end of the season; Murphy also had the season's most stolen bases. In the pitching sphere of things, Haven Morland from Civil Citizenry had the most strikeouts this season with 155 of them and 16 wins, which was second to BlueSox starter Josh Green with 18 wins. The lowest ERA was held by knuckleball-hurler, Andrew Freeman of Clemson. The most saves, 16, was earned by closer Patrick White from the Nattas Seekers.

Season 6 Preview

Season 6 is here and it is time for some hockey. Some big off-season moves have been made and it's time to see if they will pay off.

Northern Division Notes
  • Petmonton Oil Rigs
It's time that the Rigs break out. Jason McDonald is a great, possibly legendary player entering his prime and if he can win a Daniel Cup he could possibly get himself onto the first line of the national team. Colin Chapman lost all his confidence in the WCoH. Hopefully he can get some back in the BFHP.
  • Port Kostas Mates
No one has gotten closer to defeating the almighty warriors than the Mates. Nick Collens is a player who is redefining Camian Hockey. He is showing theHA that players can be finesse and use their body at the same time. They also drafted Alexander Andrews, a netminder out of Vale University; Andrews is known to have spectacular self esteem which is vital to the role of a goalie.
  • Compolis Metropolitan
They who used to be the cats have rebranded and are set for a new era of hockey. Ever since trading away John Moncrief, the cats have been nothing. Donald Hatfield is a good goalie but he is getting up there in age. Andrew Davis and Kevin Carter are also good players but don't have the experience as some other great players do. Metropolitan also have the brand new arena, the Wesbrooks Forum, named after the Wesbrooks computer manufacturing company's main product, the Wesbrooks Forum laptop.
  • Montreek Camians
The Camians hung in there with the big dogs for awhile, but are starting to fade away. There is no question whether or not Ryan Wesbrooks is in his prime, but this will be his last year on his contract with the Camians and the club's financial status doesn't look like they will resign him. Besides Wesbrooks, there is no defensive talent that can help carry the load.
  • The Rest
The rest of the Northern Division is basically the poorest couple of teams one has ever seen. The Vanler Whites, the only public team in the BFHP, have a stock price of under $10. The White Rock Polars are trying to develop a bunch of young players who could potentially be good, but the potential loss in the investment is huge.

Southern Division Notes
  • New Athens Warriors
There is a whole library's worth of hate letters geared towards general manager Brandon Bishop. The warriors decided to trade away the John Moncrief in exchange for the Cotdelapomais center Leif Proulx from the Hamilton Tigers. The warriors dealt Proulx a decent $19 million to be distributed over two seasons. New Athens also has Chris Cooper, who is arguably the best defenseman of the Camian hockey modern era.
  • Yellow Beach Beachmen
The Beachmen are probably the only team that can give the warriors a hard time. Winger Alex Russell is an ideal hard-hitting forward. The Beachmen are one of the only teams in the premiership who can routinely forecheck and make it work.
  • Clemson Senators
Clemson is one of the older teams in the BFHP. Ben Reed and Jordan Simpson are bringing back the Sens' former glory. The two are swiftly able to backcheck and create key turnovers to score goals.
  • The Rest
The Nattas Heat are alright, but they have a way to go. Howeverm don't count them out in the race to get in the playoffs. Agristino, Kanston, Janta Bay, and Henrysburg all aren't at the level of every other team, which makes the Southern Division very unexciting.

COMPOLIS -- Pride of Maria, with 6-1 odds, set a record for the fastest time in Camwood Racing history for a mile and a quarter long race. Pride of Maria was able to beat two female titans, For the Win and Diamond Jubilee. Brave King who was expected to win finished fourth, but was only three fifths of a second off of For the Win, the year's most promising female who finished second in the Diamond Stakes.

The horses from San Pellegrino Romana had a very poor showing. Three out of the four Roman entrants finished below sixth. However, probably the best Roman horse in the entire circuit, Diamond Jubilee and her jockey, Mario Benatelli, came in third place and went home with $200k in winnings.

THE ICE CLASSIC

For the firs time ever, the BFHP is going to host an outdoor game. The Ice Classic is usually a showcase between two rivals. At this game, the teams will show off their coolest sweaters. This season's Ice Classic will feature the Compolis Metropolitan hosting the Port Kostas Mates. The game will take place on artificial ice placed on the turf of the Compolis Coliseum Association Football Stadium (CCAFS).
