Turino Trains International (TTI) is a global railway, construction and train operation firm. Since 2012, it is 50% owned by The Mercantile Federal Government, Orbis and TransPolar Railways, under the Aurora Confederacy, in a joint venture known as TraxNet.

State Rail Program

[1] TTI will build the rail network, including a map where possible at a cost of $296.5k per km. This provides connection access to the entire TTI network joining your country up with other nations. The line will be operated by TraxNet. As state owners of this line, you will receive a weekly profit.


Private Rail Program

This involves a bespoke franchise agreement. Typically this service is less popular as with no-up front costs, it has lower long term profitability. It is most suited to cargo/freight or tramlink networks in an airport system.

the red line is the Rai'Lal seaspan, it crosses 1680 miles of open ocean and is a railway bridge.



Project Aurora, who run the Aurora confederacy rail network under the Trans Polar Railways label and the Project Aurora Rail System are formally inviting Turino to start running trains from the Holy Empire to Khayr Valaricz, this means crossing the Rai'lal sea crossings.

the route is electrified and only electric trains use that line, however, trains MUST be 1500v DC overhead, and NOT 25kv AC Overhead, this is because Aurora Confederacy does not use alternating current at all

In relation to the map, Turino itself is too far to establish a direct route. However, it is possible that from the Elathea Connection Line, which travels to a section of what is known conventionally to be Southern Finland, a Linkage Connection could be formed. This would involve however the construction of a large-scale Rail Network. Turino Trains International does not have the financial backing or incentive to build such a line using normal materials,however by extending outdated and historic lines, TTI believes it can construct a basic network, capable of handling 2 trains daily between Turino and Khayr Valaricz via Royal Terras for the sum of NS$211.4m

This unique experience for visitors to see and travel along "Polar Railways" and the The Sea crossings, means TTI could offer luxury train journeys to the area, charging up-to NS$1899 standard for the full journey. Therefore, TTI is willing to pay for the construction costs, as long as it receives full ownership of the New Line constructed and in light of its high expenditure TTI will not need to pay a service fee to the Aurora Rail Network System for using its railways until the cost of the new line has been recovered (in around 3 months time where the amount will be negotiated, TTI will pay ~2.1m a week)


Also, Is it possible to receive a list of Stations currently in operation so a Transportation Map and detailed plans for construction to begin.

Hoping this seems reasonable and a deal can be reached,

There is a standard gauge track that runs from Novaya Zemlya down into Western European regions which is already electrified to 1500v DC. Though as a nation Aurora Confederacy does not have AC power at all on its main grid, the electric trains are AC compatible to allow inter-operability with AC regions.

This track was laid because of Russian gauge track being 1500mm in gauge and not 1485mm, this was made to allow easier carriage of cargo from regions, this track is used regularly by Orbis expres trains so is up to the standard required for high speed operations.

TTI is keen to deploy two daily trains on this hopeful new service, but is also considering developing a Sleeper Car Overnight Train in addition.

TTI would be very grateful if Orbis Railways, a State Owned Enterprise of the Confederacy could recommend any of its own products. (eg: Which combination of Train would give a maximum number of sleeping cars for the service and our Budget for this Overnight Train is very flexible.)

Therefore, once this and the stations have been chosen, TTI will calculate the fee it it is willing to pay the Confederacy for being able operate on both the Standard Gauge Track and The Aurora Rail Network System.

All trains, be they the 9 car Orbis express, 10 car TGX1 and 11 car ICX/TGX2 can be specified as sleeper cars or standard cars. Stations are designed to hold 24-car express trains to allow two trains to use the platforms at once. The flagship train is the Orbis R300 EVE, (export variant - electric)

TTI has calculated a weekly fee for usage of the Aurora Rail network to be NS$1,168,465, and TTI is willing to pay an additional NS$184,000 per station per week. Hoping this seems reasonable. TTI also requires the names of the said stations.

Station fees are integral with the primary rail usage fee, so there is no requirement for the additional $184,000

Construction if your first ICX is also well under way and will be delivered soon, do you wish it to start by sending the train from the Aurora Confederacy as a revenue service. Your crews are formally invited to Orbis to begin type training on the ICX ready for recieving the new high speed train. It is also duplex compatible with the following products:
ICX EV1

TGX EV1

2E2-7 electric locomotive

As well as the high speed end-train powercar type locomotives in the 2E2 range, this will allow you to run 2 or more trains in tandem with eachother any double-ended locomotive can be suplemented as a power car in the TGX-01 such as the 2E2-2, or it can run push pull with 2E2-6 and 2E2-7. put two power cars in there, and the mid-block of an ICX-1 can sit between the power cars, making a 5 car + power car + 9 car + power car + 5 car formation.

I would like that Turino build a State Railway Network starting at Turino Grand Station then going to jungf station, Colland then Thirve Station, Colland next Olok station then back to jungf station then to Turino Grand Station. The length is 3200km in total.

Turino Trains International operations have been delayed recently due to PR Claims in its home nation- when one of the leading newspapers seemed to suggest our company was involved when one of Turino's Environmental Minister's campaigning for " Bikes Only Everywhere" policies was tragically killed by a train when he carelessly slipped and fell onto the tracks (and a bullet which was on the floor there) on a night stroll just 200km from his home.


Referring to the Coland State Rail Network, I understand you wish for us to build you a thriving rail centre. Such a "loop" network can easily be arranged, however we propose a simpler and cheaper route would be if we built 2 lines ie; Turino Grand Station-------->Junf Station.

Then at Junf Station there can be Via Thrive : Junf Station------------------>Colland---------->Thrive
...................................or Via Olok Junf Station------>Olok ---->Colland--------------->

This would be a cheaper route that would also cut journey times and not compromise travel as passengers can change both at Junf and at Colland to reach any part of the line, as all providing areas for expansion.
Turino Trains International's Finance and Management team have calcuated that to allow our company to use such a productive network, we are willing to pay NS$413,700 per week to use it (Payments for renting the network will start only after Basic Costs of connecting the State Network have been recouped--this will most likely be after 2 weeks) . I hope some deal can be negotitated.

Hi,

Our Country wishes to make use of your Railway Services. Our Large Island Nation has 5 provinces and each province has a unique need. We hope your company will be able to cater to our needs. We want to make use a mixture of both your privatized and State Owned Service.

Northern Province:

Hilly region and hence we would railway networks that takes the tourists to Hill Station. We want it to be a privatized Railway Network.
The region also has lot of our Military Bases and we would need trains to transport of military personal. We want these railway lines to be state owned.

Southern Province:

The region has large number of rivers, which tend to flood frequently. Hence we would need lot of bridges in this region.

Here we have large number of education institutions, and we would love to have a railway network, that can have normal fare for other passengers and a highly subsidized fare for students. This can be privatized.

We also need railway network to transport large quantities of agricultural produce that grow in this region. We need this to be State Owned.

Eastern Province:

The socialist Government that rules this part of the nation has made it clear that the Railways has to be 100% state owned in their province. They have lot of Reserve forests, hence they require Eco friendly railway network. The railway network needs to go through forests and follow lot of restrictions placed by the state Government like not operating during specific hours and not months.

Western Province:

The Capitalist Government that rules this province wants a completely privatized railway network. They have lot of companies and want high speed railway lines that can reduce transportation time.

Central Province:

This is one of the poorest regions of the country and they feel they cannot afford this high fee unless, some discount is offered to them, considering the fact that, if the Railways has to link other 4 parts of the country, the only way is to go through the Central Province.

Below is a detailed report of what Turino Trains International feels can be managed regarding your requests:
Note Each Heading has a detailed report, and there is a summary of financial situations and balances at the bottom.

Northern Province

Hill Tourist Privatisation Scheme
The proposed privatisation scheme here seems financially viable as it is most likely the quickest connection and access point for TTI's existing lines. Therefore this rail connection (built along 118km from Turino International's Rail Station/VA international Airport, costing 34.7m for us to construct a double rail-line , can be constructed. (Time to construct probably around 10 days). TTI will then provide its own service here, most likely bringing 174,132 tourists per week to the station.

Profits on this line for the Subramani Government (by allowing us to build the network in your nation) would generate weekly profits of NS$2,860,800
One question: Hill Station will that also be privatised or does your Government wish to remain in control of that too?



Millitary Transportation Network

For this , TTI Construction's team needs to be aware of how many bases need to be supplied and how far away ( ie total distance of network). However just to aid our model, we have assumed this only needs to be a basic line , (75km in length) that can provide basic transportation. The cost to build a basic network, (One line only with line changers) is reduced to less than 120,000 per km to a total of 11.1 million NS dollars.

Normally, TTI operates civilian networks so could charge users on the train , but as this is to transport State personal , TTI have calculated to maintain the network , ie trains, fuel , salaries of drivers etc this comes to NS$50,000 a week. Therefore TTI have a solution, we will PAY for the costs of building the network, and you simply pay us NS$300,500 a week to run the service,-Note the Network will be in legally owned by the Subramani Government, but only TTI will operate it as long as it is in service

Southern Province

The Environmental factors involved pushes the track costings to nearly NS$300K per Km.For a proposed 80km transportation network, TTI will happily build a Privatised Transportation Network, that we believe could accommodate nearly 2800 passengers an hour *during rush hour services*(service every 15 minutes) . The cost of tickets to travel for normal passengers will vary, probably around NS$4.50 one way from one end to the other during rush hour.
Normally the Subramani Government could achieve profits on this, but TTI is willing to offer a NS$2.00 Discount Service to Students instead (Ie your profits are used to subsidise students instead).

Note : For Construction to begin TTI needs a list of Stations and educational establishments where it would need to stop as well.


Agricultural Network: Similar to the Military Scheme, but this will be considerably cheaper as TTI has experience in goods transfer (currently operates Rail Transport for an International Tea Company-New Waterford) and flat lands of agricultural pastures reducing building costs. For a network, this will be around 12.5m to build and for your Government to directly buy, or TTI will build this network and maintain services there, in return we simply ask for 12% of Agricultural Export profits from that region.




Eastern Province

A State Network here, would probably cost you NS58.2m (one of the most expensive builds) especially with concerns to sustainability. TTI does not currently possess any Eco-Friendly Rail Vehicles, but can purchase a new fleet if required (would probably cost nearly 14.2m for TTI. Also restrictions on times can be arranged but do mean losses on Profits margins. Here The only option is for the Government to build the network,and we will pay NS$2,512,600 a week to use it.

Western Province

This sounds perfectly ideal. TTI will cover the costs as usual , and having recently purchased new trains at 6m each from Orbis Engineering, one of the most prestigious Train Storefronts, it will easily accomodate this service. Calculations suggest your profits here will be over NS$2,269,325 per week.


Central Province

Being one of the poorest regions, and being such an ideal location, TTI will operate a basic service here, slightly cheaper then before, but crucially will set up its Rail Yards and Storage houses here. Moreover, TTI is wiling to help boost employment further by using 80% local workforce to stimulate the economy there.

Would Turino Trains International be interested in a lease of a Trans Polar Railways Orbis R300?

The Orbis R300 is fully compatible with the ICX, and can be coupled to it to form one train of 20 cars length (11 car ICX + 9 car Orbis). The extra wheels of the Orbis allow for a more even traction spread as each of the 50 axles is driven, (where as only dual axle wheelsets of the ICX are powered), this has been found to reduce wheelslip of the Orbis in the high arctic that Trans Polar operate in.

Because Trans Polar are however leasing you the Orbis, we request it remain in Trans Polar Rail livery.

cost of lease: 200,000 Northern Dinars over a 12 month period, maintenance inclusive

That is very pleasing news. Construction of the lines will begin immediately and will approximately in total take around 2 weeks (to include Timetabling, Hour Services, Train set up and railway connections and maps as well as the network itself). Please send the amount agreed upon 142,000,000 in the following 14 days if possible. To ensure your money is invested properly, once the money has been sent an Interim Contract will be issued, underlining the value of your investment and it will be tied directly to a proportion of TTI Assets, (this will protect the bulk of your investment).

Regarding queries :
A) we only wished to become more aware of what scenario would be operating
B) This figure is slightly higher than our estimates, so costs of operations may go up by NS$50,000 a week (may reduce your profits by around the same)

If you think " Rail is the Future" and want to achieve high revenue as well as increase tourist numbers to your nation/region look no further! 2) This joins up or builds you Potential Rail Access to all TTI lines and brings tourists and visitors to region
3)Let TTI operate on the new rail network
4) Recieve money per week in return (eg Aurora Confederacy is a TTI client and it recieves NS1,694,500 per week!)

5) Optional: Build New Stations to generate more cashflow and sell outlets to other retail store fronts.

Royal Terras is such an example. It is Turino Trains International First Outer-Regional Network and cost the Royal Terras Government over NS$132m to build including a new station containing over 8 diferent shops and retail outlets. Three trains pass along the line daily, which bring over over 11000 visitors a week and generate NS$935,6450 in fees pw (or 48m a year) from the TTI to the Royal Terras Government as well as obtaining revenue from their station.


2) Privatisation of National Rail (Industrious and provides more jobs and tourists, but yields expenditure)

1) TTI will pay for everything, costs, stations and rail you name it!
2) TTI will make profits on the line it owns (compared to above you own) and pays you a simple fee (eg 5% of costs)
3) Alternatively, if you Government wishes to Subsidise travel, TTI will operate your public rail network for a set fee
4) This method is much cheaper than above, brings more visitors (as more trains operate here to cover privatisation costs) but can yield small expenses from you.

The Rai'Lal sea crossing across the icecap is a 2688km bridge that spans the 300m deep Arctic Ocean, for a regular locomotive hauled passenger service takes 26 hours to cross it. Trans Polar Railways built it because ports were forever being frozen in. At its highest point, you are 300m above the surface of the ocean to allow ships to pass underneath.

The Westernmost point of the bridge has a visitor centre to allow people to go up to the observation lounge, a further 200m above the tracks, here you can dine in absolute comfort in a revolving restaurant that takes in the views of the polar north, and during the long polar night, there is a dark observation room above the restaurant that allows visitors to view the Aurora Borealis.

In the visitor centre, you can actually decend deep into the bridge with a guided tour, showing the generators and signal control centre that control singnalling across the bridge. Tours cost 20 Northern Dinars for an adult, 10 for a child under 16years of age and take aproximately 2 hours.

The above High Speed Trains have airline seating rather than sleeper cabins, complete with headrest entertainment systems, reclining seats and full climate control. The R200D is powered by a diesel drivetrain so is not restricted to electrified routes.

23 2E2-9 locomotives*

60 passenger cars (20 first class 40 second class)

Inclusive in the cost is a fully comprehensive maintenance package, so should anything break there will be cover, with the part being flown out within 24 hours to reduce any downtime to as short as possible. With these being mainly geared for domestic use on the Aurora Confederacy, they have local Direct Current internal sockets for plug in appliances.

*2E2-9 locomotives are set up for DC track, so are suitable for holland and the Aurora Confederacy, if needed they can be converted over to AC but this will take aproximately 3 weeks to complete the task. They are also FIXED standard gauge unlike the rest of the Orbis product range which use Talgo sourced axlesets to enable them to change up to Broad gauge for Russia and Spain.
