1. All member states must agree to abolish all tariffs on goods and services between member nations.
2. Member nations may not force unfair prices upon other member states.
3. If a member state succumbs to financial crisis, it is the responsibility of other member nations to step up and help with foreign loans and donations with low interest levied on these acts of charity.
4. Outsourcing of jobs between member states shall not be forbidden under any circumstance.
5. A state wishing to gain admission to the ECU must go through a vigorous application process upon which member states have one (1) vote for or against and partner states have half (1/2) vote for or against admission.
6. All partner states or applicants must formally agree to the above terms in order to gain full membership into the Ellorean Commercial Union. If only a few rules are recognized, the title of "partner state" will be placed upon the specific party.
Application Process
In order to be admitted into the Ellorean Commercial Union, an applicant must receive an approval from two-thirds (2/3) of the Union. Full member states will have one vote in favor of or against an applicant, while a partner state will receive half (1/2) a vote for or against an applicant. This is to ensure that partner states are properly represented in the Union's affairs.
