Maybe it didn't need its own thread (Sorry about that), but i find this bbc article fascinating. They make decisions, socialize with eachother, share information, and even recognize family members. Its also interesting that their kind of a egalitarian species, a bit like a democracy if i understood the article correctly.
At any rate, I'll be a bit more hesitant to kill one the next time i see one...
