New Acardia- is a semi presidential ,semi unitary,semi democratic and constitutional republic

The Central Government- Is divided in to three branches which are listed below

1.The Executive Branch- Headed by The President( Elected once every four years and can only serve a maximum of two terms ) The President runs the day to day affairs of the government, Is the Commander and Chief of the military, Makes treaties with other nations and signs bills that been passed by Parliament in to law or vetos them.
Requirements the President must be at least 35 years old or if a naturalized citizen. Has to be a citizen for at least 20 years.

1A. The Vice President- Acts as the chairman/woman of the upper house in parliament.Only voteing on legislation if there is a tie in the upper house voting. And to replace the President if the president is unable or unwilling to serve out the rest of his or her term. The current Vice President is -Joseph Liberwitz


2.The Legislative Branch- Headed by the Parliament .Which is divided in to two houses which are The Upper House(Elected once every six years.)( Each commanwealth gets two members) (And is chaired by the Vice president) and The Lower House ( Elected once every two years)(The number of members each commanwealth gets is based on that commanwealth's population) .The Parliament is headed by the Prime Minister-Vincent Goldeneagle is the current Prime Minister

The Prime Minister is elected by the Lower House of Parliament
The Vice president is the presidential candate who got the second most votes. In a presidental election.

3.Judical Branch-Headed by The Constitutional Court-(There Nine members of the court)Which has the final word on any law .But only if complainants bring to the court. And only if they brough to lower courts first. The President nominates members to the court. But The Upper House has to aprove the president's nominee.The current Chairman of the court is Justice David Breen


The nation is divied in to 20 commonwealths.The commonwealths are organized the same way that the central government is. Except for the following

1. The Executive branch is headed by a Governor.
2.The Legislative branch is headed by the Commonwealth Assembly. The Commonwealth Assembly is headed by the Speaker
3. The Judical branch is headed by the Commonwealth Court.

A census is taken once every 12 years. Which results in some commonwealths looseing members to the lower house and other commonwealths gaining lower house members

New Acardia is a successor of an older nation(The United States of America) The Old Union/Old Empire
1.The Old Union-Is the name that is used by people who think that The United States was a force for good.

The current government traces its origin to the winners of a civil war called "The Color War". Named for the colored arm bands its combatants wore.
