Modern Gebeta was founded Nov. 2009
Prior to that was a war which included Gebeta and United Belkan Empire. The war started when Gebeta Fw200 Transports and Bombes invaded Belka territory and launched a suprise attack. With in weeksof this invasion Belka was ove runed except for its last air base. Lord Robetsons AB was located on a fairly large island. Gebeta launched a air raid that was defeated. In response a seris of attacks on Belka occupied mainland to drive Gbeta was launched. Major oil reseres for Gebeta were hit, as well as Radar sites and naval yards. With this crippling blow, Belka was able to launche a invasion of the western coast. The invasion was succesful and after a long air campaing in which Gebetan and Belka aircraft fought fo supemacy near the coast. It ended when Belkan forces succeded in retaking the airbase lost earlier in the war. A major advance through the Belka moutains finally ended when Belka forces were able to breech through the Instran fortress on the River Elna in Gebeta. Hornstad about fifty miles was the sight of the wars longest and bloodest battles. mostly hilly terrain and flat terrain, the wars largest tank battles took place there. Air raids launche against Hornstad Airbase and a tank drive finally helped Belka occupy the city. Other operations were successful and helped Belka gain territory in Gebeta. In this Belka was making large advancements securing several cities in the process. This left the western lands left, a 600 mile long defense line was created. Past that line was Gebeta Capital and few remain Bases. Belka prepared to breech it from the cites it occupied along the line
This was a mistake which both countries payed dearly. At this time Gebeta was desprete. At 2:24 Am on Dec 26 2008 a large Nuclear missle strike was launched at the cites Belka occupied all along the Defense line. The resulting blast created a nuclear fall out defence line, where Gebeta and Belkan forces were un able to Advance through.
This ended the war in which Gebeta lost most of its modern day fighters and tanks. Belka Returned all occupied territory four months later and disarmed all nuclear missile silos and subs. Gebeta retained its nuclear bombs because there were no aircraft left capable of handling them.
In December 2009 a war broke out in which Swedish America and Gebeta engaged Macedonia. The war ended with a Cease Fire. Gebeta News was not allowed to join with any forces that Deployed. Only Gebeta news coverage was at Rudestien Airbase Gebeta as the transports prepared for departure to Swedish America. During the war, the GBS Pathe sacrificed herself in a nuclear detonation of her reactors to save a hospital ship that had been attacked but got far enough to surive the blast. The Pathe only did this because she was doomed to sink after taking on too much water and having her pumps overwhelmed.
2012
Gebeta invades Desh after a Belkan false flag attack hits the Gebetan Navy in port. The war escalated to eventual landings and swift ground battles. The air war was fought by mainly fighters and attackers, while JSF units conducted spec ops mission.
The war eventually lead to the Belkan incursion and the occupation of Desh after the country collapsed in the wake of the war.
