CAFUNDELENSE LEAGUE - FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON - POSTED AFTER THE SECOND HALF THIS TIME

The first half of the season 26 of the Cafundelense league has ended. As everyone in the whole world must know now, this part of the Cafundelense season is the least important, being only useful to get the players fit (with the exception of the Emperor’s Cup [former Empress Cup and Prince Regent's Cup], which has some importance... but its winner won't go to the TQCC, but to the Globe Cup instead). The State-related competitions don't have practical importance. Other competitions are State Championships, and the only reason why the supporters want to win this is because they have to defeat their rivals to get the trophy. And that’s the only reason why they exist too. The State Championships and the State Champions Cup have tradition, while the Emperor's Cup has an interesting reward, which is the GC spot. (yes, I'm lazy and won't update the introduction).

THE EMPEROR’S CUP
The Emperor’s Cup has the same format of the former Prince Regent's Cup (former Empress Cup too), with the name being the only difference. The regency period in Cafundéu has ended, with the former Regent Miguel I giving his position as head of state to the new Emperor, Raúl I. A bigger competition than the last ones, it involves 64 teams. Finally, the CCFM have decided to make serious rules about the participation in the cup: the 40 teams from 1st and 2nd divisions, the best 12 from the 3rd division, the top 8 from the 4th division and the top 4 (not necessarily promoted) from the 5th division in the last season participate, with their last season results, of course (so the best of the 5th are probably now in the 4th division).
See the results (obs: no away goals rule). And now it is seeded for the first stage as, following the criteria, the 32 best teams play the first game away, being separated in the draw from the other teams. Note that its champion goes to the Globe Cup:

City Details: capital of the country, is a big metropolis, with many things to do, many clubs, good nightlife and shops, and also many points for tourism. The police is well funded. The city is the most important for the economy of the country, and for the politics too, being the centre of the government, held in the Praça de São Jorge (St. George’s Square). It is the headquarters of the Bovacaf, Cafundéu’s stock market’s main building. For a long while it was the second stadium of the city, since the Estádio Rei Albieri Van Tocco, owned by Clube Imperial, is bigger. However, due to being Cafundó do Juta's stadium, this one has far more tradition. It is a 1-hour of travel away from the seaside, the city of Tijhus.

City Details: this stadium is located in Lasft, the main city of the country for sports and the economic centre of Cafundéu, with its beautiful beaches and intense nightlife. With this, the city ends being the most famous of the country, although it isn't the capital, especially after hosting the last Summer Olympics. The Estádio Anchieta is a reasonably big stadium, but is used only for domestic matches, since it is overshadowed by the most important stadium of the country, the Obelisco Monumental. However, it has impressive facilities, and is located in a very accessible neighbourhood, without the chaos of the city centre. With its enormous parking lot, some people may end walking a lot from their car to the entrance.
