Principles:

Economic Neoliberalism: The key principle that differentiates the new Veranist movement from the old ideology practiced by previous Emperors. The passage of time has seen the Emperor's main guiding philosophy on economic matters shift from a strong interventionist and mercantilist focus; to one emphasizing the role of the private sector in society and the dismantling of protectionist trade barriers. Though this was a slow process at first and has only truly come into form under Emperors Gauis and Augustus.

Varist Christianity: The long-standing faith of the Imperial Family, the role of Varist Christianity and its main attendant body, the United Church Militant has seen a marked increase in importance under Emperor Augustus since the 1970's. Before this, while the religion was nominally the nation's state religion and fourth branch of government, extensive freedom of religion laws curbed its power domestically. In contrast to this domestic weakness, the Church has been used extensively in the Dominion's foreign affairs and during it's period of internal expansion.

Social Conservatism: The first of many principles carried over from the old Veranist ideology, this belief encourages the veneration and encouragement of traditional societal values; such as a respect for the military and a promotion of patriotic values and a stable home environment.

Political Authoritarianism: A central theme in both old and current Veranist ideology, this idea dictates that all power should be vested in the person and office of the Emperor. This theme has taken a slight hit in the last century, as the idealistic and young Emperor Augustus broke with tradition, giving into reformist demands for a Constitution and Legislative representation in government. However, much of the lost authority and power was regained by the office of the Emperor following the 1966 attempted coup.

Tergnitzian Exceptionalism: The core focus of the Imperial Family's foreign policy since the establishment of the Dominion in 1721. This idea advocates the idea of 'jingoism,' or the promotion of an aggressive foreign policy driven by the nationalist belief that Tergnitz is superior to any other nation.
