Due to the recent nationalization of a major airway corporation in the People's Republic of Sovieticanas by recently-elected Socialists President Brandón Iglesias and Prime Minister Armani Valdez, The People's Republic of Sovieticanas is looking to establish new travel destinations with major nations near the Archipelago of Cienfuegos for economic support and an increase in the tourism industry.

The recently nationalized company, now known as CUBANA Airways to Sovieticanans or Sovieticanan Skyways to the rest of the world has opened up gates at the Frank Ceci international airport in Cienfuegos, Sovieticanas to expand buisness and trade delegations. These gates require an application filled out by either the CEO of a privatized airline requesting for a gate or by the minister of Foreign affairs if the airline is nationalized.
