Season I: Part III

Copa de La Luna y el Fuego Third Round
Tanrısal, oh brave Tanrısal, how you nearly provided a boon for all Pasargan clubs, alas Augustus had your number after ninety. Oh, but have no shame Tanrısal, for at least you are not Royal, who bowed out of the competition at home to Targas United of all clubs. Another shocker come from Torgos where Galactica, seemingly annoyed at not being part of the Liga's inaugural season, took down surprise Pocoan package of Real Minanda in a seven goal splendor. Also not lacking for goals was Cruzeira and Fetherdron, collecting nine in total in Racing's victory.

Galactica (PAS) 4–3 Real Minanda (QPM)
Almondvale (QPM) 3–2 Garrincha FC (QPM)
Allied Motor Trade (QPM) 1–0 Burston Wanderers (QPM)

Stourton Town (QPM) 2–3 SC Filwarfin (PAS)
Salaga FC (QPM) 0–0(1–0 AET) Sunset Village (QPM)

Matchday 19
And back to the league we go, where things were remarkably stable for the most part. The only real "surprise" if you can still call it that now, is Royal getting curb stomped in another Khaldoon derby, not evening managing to put up a goal on their behalf. I don't know what happened to the side, but they are not looking anything at all like the title contenders they were made out to be.

Jonastown United (QPM) 2–4 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 0–0 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 0–4 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Pythons (QPM) 3–5 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 1–4 Baskita FC (PAS)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 2–4 Augustus (QPM)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 0–3 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 1–1 Almondvale (QPM)
SC Sardin (PAS) 2–2 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Santos Luega (PAS) 3–0 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 0–1 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 3–3 Tanrısal (PAS)

Matchday 20
Maybe we spoke to soon about Royal's demise as they manage to get a very surprising victory over Augustus. Meanwhile Valengren is brought back down to second with their loss and CAP's victory, yet Stein-los could not manage to take advantage as well with their surprising defeat at the hands of Pythons.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–4 Tanrısal (PAS)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 0–1 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 2–2 Skyte City (QPM)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 1–1 Santos Luega (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 3–3 SC Sardin (PAS)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 3–2 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Augustus (QPM) 1–2 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Baskita FC (PAS) 3–2 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 4–2 Real Minanda (QPM)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 1–3 Pythons (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 1–0 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
Jonastown United (QPM) 0–1 Lunas FC (PAS)

Matchday 21
And is this the start of a wobble for Valengren, as they fail to pick up the full three on Peynol. CAP continues to show why it has been an international successful club as it brushed aside Ridgemont. Tanrısal however seemed to have a hangover after their victory against the kickers and were defeated in Paulinthal by lowly Tulduroc. And don't look now, but Santos is sneaking their way back up the table after dispatching Almondvale. Could they be in fort a second half surge?

Lunas FC (PAS) 1–1 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 0–0 Jonastown United (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 1–1 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 0–2 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 0–3 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 5–3 Baskita FC (PAS)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–2 Augustus (QPM)
SC Sardin (PAS) 0–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Santos Luega (PAS) 3–1 Almondvale (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 1–3 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 1–1 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 2–4 Tulduroc United (PAS)

Matchday 22
Well, make that three matches without victory for Valengren as they were held by a suddenly in form Tulduroc. Tanrısal bounced back from their own troubles against United with an edgy affair that eventually saw them emerge victorious over bottom dwellers 1860. And Royal lost again, but it was to CAP, who is getting on a right heavy good amount of form, so a loss in Pualinthal can be forgiven. In the Lunas derby, it was FC who pulled out the narrow victory over Peynol-Lunas.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–2 Tulduroc United (PAS)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 2–3 Tanrısal (PAS)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 0–2 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 2–2 Skyte City (QPM)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 2–2 Santos Luega (PAS)
Augustus (QPM) 4–1 SC Sardin (PAS)
Baskita FC (PAS) 2–0 SC Myrkan (PAS)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 2–0 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 1–0 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 0–0 Real Minanda (QPM)
Jonastown United (QPM) 1–3 Pythons (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 1–0 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)

Matchday 23
Oh dear, this was not how they wanted to end the first half of the season I would have to believe for Valengren. A trip to Lunas saw them as favorites but instead returning back to their Pocoan homes in fourth after only a few weeks ago being first in the league. CAP hit a small bump in their title run, as they were held in Myrkan. Augustus ended Santos strong surge with a huge victory in Pualinthal, but Tanrısal made sure that the city did get at least a single victory on the weekend. Royal however looks like a complete mess of a club as they fell at home to Club Stein-los, with that victory sending them over Valengren to third to end the first half of the season.

Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 4–2 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 2–5 Lunas FC (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 1–1 Jonastown United (QPM)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 1–2 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 0–1 Club Stein-los (PAS)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–2 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
SC Sardin (PAS) 1–2 Baskita FC (PAS)
Santos Luega (PAS) 3–5 Augustus (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 1–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 1–2 Almondvale (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 3–2 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 1–1 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)

Matchday 24
Five matches without a victory, two losses in a row, and it is revenge of the relegation favorites as 1860 and Tulduroc both notch impressive wins over much better opposition. Valengren is in a complete tail spin mode now and where they will end up crashing is anyones guess. Even Fetherdron got in the action of relegation favorites notching wins by adding to Royal's misery. There were a chorus of boos in Khaldoon when the final whistle blew. CAP increased its lead at the top to four points after Tanrısal were held at home, letting Stein-los slip into second with their hard fought victory over Myrkan.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–3 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 3–2 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 0–0 Almondvale (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 2–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 5–3 Augustus (QPM)
Santos Luega (PAS) 1–1 Baskita FC (PAS)
SC Sardin (PAS) 1–2 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 4–5 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 3–4 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 3–0 Jonastown United (QPM)
Real Minanda (QPM) 3–2 Lunas FC (PAS)
Pythons (QPM) 3–3 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)

Matchday 25
It just continues to get worse for Valengren as they are embarrassed by Pythons. After looking like legitimate title contenders, one has to wonder if the wheels have come off here in the dead of winter for Valengren. Maybe the spring will see them get their charge back up, but at the rate they are falling, it may be too little too late. Pasarga's big clubs squandered the oppurtunity though, with Stein-los drawing with Sardin, neither CAP nor Santos finding a winner in a Paulinthal derby, and Tanrısal getting upset by Athletic Khaldoon.

Pythons (QPM) 4–1 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 3–2 Real Minanda (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 1–4 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
Jonastown United (QPM) 0–1 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 2–4 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 1–1 SC Sardin (PAS)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 2–2 Santos Luega (PAS)
Baskita FC (PAS) 4–4 Skyte City (QPM)
Augustus (QPM) 2–2 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 1–0 Tanrısal (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 1–0 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 2–2 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)

Fourth Round
An the emperor was felled with a might swipe, his crown come falling down in the harshest of ways, as Augustus is brushed aside in CAP's seemingly irresistible march towards dominance. A bigger surprise was Targus defeating Baskita, albeit from spot kicks. Pythons showed some cracks in their armor, needing extra time to dispatch MS Leighton, while Galactica remains on course to show the Liga teams that not all those who did not make the cut are poor squads. The Quarterfinals could have some very tasty matchups depending upon the draw.

Salaga FC (QPM) 3-2 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
RC Sardin (PAS) 0–2 Galactica (PAS)
Racing Cruzeira (QPM) 4–0 Tharg-Calan (PAS)
Augustus (QPM) 2–4 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Targas United (PAS) 0–0(0–0 AET)[4–3 PKs] Baskita FC (PAS)
SC Filwarfin (PAS) 4–3 Allied Motor Trade (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 2–2(3–2 AET) MS Leighton (QPM)
Almondvale (QPM) 3–3(3–3 AET)[5–4 PKs] Port Los Renato (QPM)

Matchday 26
And at last, the crash has come and Valengren right the ship with a three to one win over Ajax. Couple that with a small run of bad form for Tanrısal, which continued with a loss to Augustus, and Valengren halts their fall and rises back to third. It's getting nervy at the top with only five points separating second from eighth. The question no longer seems to be if someone can stop CAP from winning the league, but what other three teams will be heading to the CC. It may be a bit premature to ask such, with only a four point lead for CAP, but they do not look to have the same sort of bad run of form that their rivals have had, despite a loss to bogey team Skyte.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 3–1 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 1–3 Almondvale (QPM)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 0–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 1–3 Augustus (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 6–3 Baskita FC (PAS)
Skyte City (QPM) 3–1 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Santos Luega (PAS) 2–1 Club Stein-los (PAS)
SC Sardin (PAS) 1–0 Fetherdron United (PAS)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 0–1 Jonastown United (QPM)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 2–2 Lunas FC (PAS)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 2–1 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 4–3 Pythons (QPM)

Matchday 27
Or perhaps CAP does have a bad run of form in them, as Turkish come into Paulinthal and provide the surprise of the round. Or it would have been the surprise of the round had Skyte not defeated Stein-los an hour before in the most extraordinary fashion. Tanrısal took advantage of the losses and pulled themselves back into the race with a comfortable win, while Royal just continues to flounder. It truly has been a season to forget for them.

Real Minanda (QPM) 4–2 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 1–2 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 1–1 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 3–0 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Jonastown United (QPM) 3–1 SC Sardin (PAS)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 2–2 Santos Luega (PAS)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 4–7 Skyte City (QPM)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 2–4 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Baskita FC (PAS) 1–3 Tanrısal (PAS)
Augustus (QPM) 2–0 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 1–0 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Almondvale (QPM) 1–1 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)

As we enter the stretch run, CAP holds a deserved lead at the top, but then it gets very edgy. Many teams jostling for the CC and GC spots, with many deserving the chance to strut their stuff come the summer. Unfortunately, deserving teams will miss out on their chance and it is a race to nab the spots availble. At the bottom, there seems to be a definite idea of which four teams are heading down, but if Royal continues to flounder, we may just have a surprise yet.

A moderately conservative, somewhat-religious nation with a lingering resentment for Osarius, their former colonial oppressors.
If you want a RL reference point, this nation is supposed to be a cultural, social and political mélange of Mexico and Jamaica.

I will sometimes RP in an approximation of Jamaican Patois. Apologies in advance ;)

Season I: Part IV

Matchday 28
It was not a good week for Stein-los as Tanrısal could not handle the power of CAP and Turkish fell in the derby. A score that was welcomed all over Pasarga was lowly Fetherdron giving Skyte a nice drubbing. Pythons however will be disappointed that they could not continue Royal's disaster of a campaign by only managing to escape with a point and not the whole set of three.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 3–2 Almondvale (QPM)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 1–3 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 2–3 Augustus (QPM)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 3–4 Baskita FC (PAS)
Tanrısal (PAS) 1–4 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 3–4 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Skyte City (QPM) 1–3 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Santos Luega (PAS) 3–0 Jonastown United (QPM)
SC Sardin (PAS) 2–3 Lunas FC (PAS)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 1–2 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 2–2 Pythons (QPM)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 2–3 Real Minanda (QPM)

Matchday 29
Fetherdron looks like they are making a push to get themselves out of the relegation fight late on as they hold against Turkish in a six goal sensation. CAP was unimpressive but managed to sneak by Tulduroc who continue to look like the surest bet of the Pasarga sides to be relegated. Tanrısal managed to beat Club in a second straight weekend of a Stein-los derby. Augustus and Royal both were beaten handily, while Valengren is sticking around the leaders with an unimpressive victory over Ridgemont.

Ridgemont Town (QPM) 1–2 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Real Minanda (QPM) 5–3 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 2–2 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 0–2 SC Sardin (PAS)
Lunas FC (PAS) 0–1 Santos Luega (PAS)
Jonastown United (QPM) 2–4 Skyte City (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 3–3 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 1–3 Tanrısal (PAS)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 1–0 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Baskita FC (PAS) 1–0 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Augustus (QPM) 1–3 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 0–1 Almondvale (QPM)

Matchday 30
Now that is how you defeat relegation canidates as CAP demolished 1860 to keep up their astonishing pace at the top of the table. It was a dreadful weekend for all of their competitors as Tanrısal was felled by the now in form Fetherdron in Stein-los, Santos was held in Paulinthal by Peynol, and Valengren could not get a winner in their match with Athletic despite being at home. All of that means that CAP stretches their lead to eight points on now second place Valengren with only sixteen matches left. I'm not sure anyone can catch CAP now.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 1–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Almondvale (QPM) 0–1 Augustus (QPM)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 1–0 Baskita FC (PAS)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 1–5 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 3–3 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Tanrısal (PAS) 0–1 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 2–1 Jonastown United (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 1–3 Lunas FC (PAS)
Santos Luega (PAS) 4–4 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
SC Sardin (PAS) 3–4 Pythons (QPM)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–3 Real Minanda (QPM)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 3–1 Ridgemont Town (QPM

Matchday 31
And there is a major kicker as Royal continues a mini revival with a stunning victory over the kickers to send them tumbling down to fourth as Stein-los and Santos both record wins to hop ahead of them. Tanrısal was not able to find a bit of magic in Jonastown and let the opportunity to leap Valengren slip by. At the other end of the table, Fetherdron recorded a victory over Tulduroc to send the capital club three points out of the drop zone while Ajax's loss to CAP puts them back into the bottom four.

Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 1–0 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 0–1 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 4–5 SC Sardin (PAS)
Pythons (QPM) 2–4 Santos Luega (PAS)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 2–2 Skyte City (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 0–4 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Jonastown United (QPM) 3–3 Tanrısal (PAS)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 3–1 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 1–0 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 2–1 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Baskita FC (PAS) 3–5 Almondvale (QPM)
Augustus (QPM) 4–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)

Matchday 32
Oh Valengren, you are on another swoon aren't you, as they lose against at home, this time to Augustus. However, the shock of the weekend came when CAP took a stumble against Almondvale, not even managing to get a goal in their match. Pythons destroyed Skyte and Santos will be disappointed that there was no winner to be found in their battle with Minanda.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 1–2 Augustus (QPM)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 1–3 Baskita FC (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 2–0 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 0–0 Club Stein-los (PAS)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 0–1 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 0–4 Jonastown United (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 3–1 Lunas FC (PAS)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 1–3 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
Skyte City (QPM) 0–7 Pythons (QPM)
Santos Luega (PAS) 3–3 Real Minanda (QPM)
SC Sardin (PAS) 0–1 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–2 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)

Copa de La Luna y el Fuego Quarterfinals
Well, that was certainly a close call for both CAP and Pythons, as each was forced past ninety minutes to secure their passage to the semifinals of the Copa. The draw afforded all four fixtures to be Pasarga clubs against Pocoan and it was Pasarga that came out victorious with three wins to one for the Pocoans. However, given that only three of the eight squads were in the Liga, it is not a fair representation of the strength of the clubs. All the same, fans in Targas, Paulinthal, and Torgos will be looking for their side to lift the Copa and bring Pasarga the first piece of silverware in the new joint league.

Targas United (PAS) 2–0 Salaga FC (QPM)
Racing Cruzeira (QPM) 1–1(1–1 AET)[1–3 PKs] CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Pythons (QPM) 1–1(2–1 AET) SC Filwarfin (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 0–1 Galactica (PAS)

Matchday 33
Yup, it is official, Valengren is once again in a rut of form, as they crash hard against Myrkan. Royal on the other hand seemed to have found their stride here in the latter stages of the season as they have clawed their way up to 14th after a win against SC Sardin. Santos were big winners overs Ridgemont, as was Tanrısal over Peynol, and Augustus over Baskita. However it was a second straight league loss by CAP that has the Liga teams thinking that the title might still be there to win and not all secured and ready to be presented in Paulinthal.

SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–0 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 3–2 SC Sardin (PAS)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 3–6 Santos Luega (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 1–2 Skyte City (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 2–2 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 2–4 Tanrısal (PAS)
Lunas FC (PAS) 2–0 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Jonastown United (QPM) 1–1 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 1–1 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 2–1 Almondvale (QPM)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 1–2 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Baskita FC (PAS) 2–5 Augustus (QPM)

Matchday 34
Hold the presses, the gap has been closed down to two points as a third straight loss has CAP holding on for dear life. Augustus is making a charge up the table and they as well as Club Stein-los are now just two points back of CAP, while Santos only three. There is finally some excitement back in the top half of the table again and we could be heading for a very interesting last fourth of the season.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–0 Baskita FC (PAS)
Augustus (QPM) 4–3 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 1–3 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 3–0 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 2–1 Jonastown United (QPM)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 0–0 Lunas FC (PAS)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 2–1 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
Tanrısal (PAS) 2–2 Pythons (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 2–1 Real Minanda (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 5–3 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
Santos Luega (PAS) 2–1 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
SC Sardin (PAS) 2–3 SC Myrkan (PAS)

Matchday 35
CAP gets back on track after a nervy victory over last years PSL champions in Paulinthal, stopping the free fall for now. Augustus however hits a bump in the road in Stein-los as Club takes sole possession of second place with their triumph. Royal has climbed up another place after giving Skyte a proper lesson in footballing class, and Ajax sends Jonastown into the relegation spots with their win and Jonastown's Yaforite draw with Almondvale.

SC Sardin (PAS) 0–1 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–2 Santos Luega (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 3–1 Skyte City (QPM)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 4–2 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 3–3 Tanrısal (PAS)
Pythons (QPM) 2–0 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 0–2 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 0–1 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Jonastown United (QPM) 0–0 Almondvale (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 1–3 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 2–1 Augustus (QPM)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 3–2 Baskita FC (PAS)

Matchday 36
And the day the Liga contenders failed mightily is this day, as Valengren, Stein-los, Augustus, Pythons, and Santos all failed to win in their matches, letting CAP reestablish a firm grip on the top of the table with their demonstrative victory over the kickers. It was a show of force to Valengren and the rest of the league that while CAP might stumble here and there, they do not falter completely. With only ten matches left, it is difficult going for those looking to usurp CAP's crown as the best in the Liga.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–4 CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Baskita FC (PAS) 4–2 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Augustus (QPM) 2–3 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 1–3 Jonastown United (QPM)
Almondvale (QPM) 0–1 Lunas FC (PAS)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 2–2 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 5–5 Pythons (QPM)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 1–1 Real Minanda (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 3–0 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 2–1 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Skyte City (QPM) 2–2 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Santos Luega (PAS) 2–2 SC Sardin (PAS)

It is all very tough going and for the first time, there is not a single Pocoan side in the top four of the league as we head towards an international break. When the teams return, it will be a dash towards the finish, while CAP and Pythons will also be getting ready for the Copa semifinals.

Stadium hosting bid
Champion's Cup: Harloop National, seats 150,00O, the Harloop National is the perfect place to hold a Champion's cup final as not only does it have sate of the art facilities in the stadium it is right in the centre of the vibrant city of harloop. We will start off with the fans experience during the match, on the back of every seat in the stadium there is a board. This board has a let's the fans buy food, drink, team kits, team hats etc with just a few taps of there finger and without leaving they'er seat. This is catered for by a team of over 500 a match. This is in operation during the match and 30 minutes before and after it. The stadium has two big TV at each end of the pitch providing the teams and the score for those who are sometimes a bit forgetful. There is no running track here to bring the fans even closer to the action. Now on to what we have for the teams. The dugouts are massive 200meters by 10meters and each player and coaching staff gets a seat with two arm rests and that is undercover (like the rest of the stadium). The dressing rooms are of equal size and have 30 shower heads and 15 bath tubs each. They also have places for up to 30 players a TV and a 50meter by 30meter medical room. The two teams have different press conference rooms too and we have a car park with room for 200 cars 75 with be reserved for teams and UICA. Of the 7,500 hotel rooms in the city 3,000 will be reserved for teams and UICA.

¡Okay, so, our photographer can take pictures of the really big games too! ¡Just look at these! ¡It was a really big game! ¡And we had pictures!

...Okay, you know what? We have...captions. It was a roll of 24. The Cafundelense developers must have been amused.

Uh...this is some guy from Valladares. I think it's Guy Perrin.

Salazar tackles Diego Héctor Carranza.

Yoan Gignac and Sebastián Cruz Medrano leaping to head away a ball.

Fans at halftime. (The photographer went up and asked them the great trivia hour question--"who or what it is a monument to?"--but didn't find out much except for some rambles about bygone Cafundelense sports journalism.

Sebastián Cruz Medrano doing some crazy kick thing that doesn't really work as expected, either that or we developed this one at the wrong angle.

Aleta Sierra, very nervous after being substituted out, dribbling her fingers against her sports drink with one hand and the bench with the other.

Antonio Lomeli is about to do a throw-in; he seems a little overwhelmed by the number of fans in attendance.

Jorge Mateo Cobo waving for a substitution.

Ismael Osorio takes the field for extra time. He just got to rest some, it's not clear why he's sweating so much.

Ezequiel Félix Varela enters the game at halftime of extra time. Note Quirino María with the “well, it's not going to be me” expression exhaling in the background.

Alain Tamount tries to keep his cool after Jean-Pierre de Roux misses his first shot.

This was probably supposed to be Clemente Bosque getting ready to take a penalty, but it turned out wrong and all you can see are the flashes of, like, every other camera in the stadium.

Unión de Ciudagua fans roaring after Bosque gives them an outright lead.

Rodrigo Hererra grimaces as Paul Lacombe saves his penalty shot.

Unión de Ciudagua fans roaring their disapproval after Lacombe saves Hererra's penalty shot (zoomed out this far, there's really no way to tell the difference between this one and the other one).

Sarita Martínez and Clara Ines Durante watch together; this picture appears to have been taken in the split-second after the latter, but before the former, realized that Gignac's shock was saved.

Jonathan Watson's shoulders sag—for tiredness, not unhappiness—as he hears that he has to retake his shot.

Obligatory captain-lifting-the-trophy pose; somewhat out of focus so if you're desperately curious to find out what font is on the Fontvielle Impact jerseys, you might just be able to.

A not-particularly flattering view of the back of Osoro Coceres' head; he is embracing his cousin Nuria Farias (it's her mother who's the sister of all those brothers), but maybe the right third of her face is visible.

Clemente Bosque in his normal deer-who-has-become-sort-of-used-to-the-headlights-always-being-on pose.

A reporter holding a microphone up to Jonathan Watson's face; the latter is exuberant, the former is a little confused, as if trying to figure out whether what he just said makes any more sense in poorly-pronounced French.

Ismael Osorio patiently explains to Enrique Ballesteros that, despite the renaming, they have not in fact become the "first" Champions' Cup Champions.

Edmundo Suárez with his jersey balled into his hand, just about realizing that he shouldn't flinging it into the crowd but sell it to a museum or something.

The champions. From left, back to front:
Medrano, Chavez, Martínez, Carranza, Lomeli, Coceres
María, Durante, Osorio, Herrera, Ballesteros, Bosque
Valdivia, Madrigal, Farias, Varela, Watson, Cobo
Suero, Ledesma, Antúnez, Sierra, Galindo, Suárez

Taeshan Premier League Season Preview

*Denotes Captains
**Denotes Foreigner

AC Quarant Xa‘virt

Ground:Quarant Xa’virt Sphark Stadium 400,000
Manager:Arin Flitin
Colors:Cyan, and Yellow
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Avoid Relegation, Stay Mid Table Another Season
Starters:Price, Wasabe, Fasnacht, Newman, Harrison, Crabwood*, Cailou, Cantebury, Cladius, McGregor, Phish
ReservesLee, Webster, Fitz-Williams, Boi, Reinhold
Sponsor:Ed’s Bar and Grill
Nickname(s):Athleticos
Offseason Moves:Starting RD Alan Ford, and Sub GK Harriet Gregs retired. Bought RD Scott Neman from Yaton FC, signed Academy star Maxwell Reinhold at GK.
Last Season Finish:12th
Team InfoAC was not an original member of the TSF. It joined in the first league expansion after season 4 and quickly rose to prominence within the league but has lately fallen on harder times with a few years of cash strapped coffers. The team will be in their 2nd year back up in the premier league and will look to have another successful year and not fall back to the Erste Liga.

Al Haxire

Ground:Al Haxire Club Stadium 200,000
Manager:Takin Reah Jr.
Colors:Green and White
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Stay Mid Pack
Starters:Darzi, Inketil, Bousaid, Kuruchet**, Ugrenrich, Antonescu, Abdullah, Tyreke, Jyne, El-Ghassawy*, Saab
ReservesAlbaf, McMicheal, Pertrand, Letterbee, Federer
Sponsor:Al Haxire Gentlemans Club
Nickname(s):Genis
Offseason Moves:LM Kyle Entwhistle Retired, Bought Antoletian International Petr Antonescu from Caché.
Last Season Finish:16th
Team InfoAl Haxire was another team that joined in the second most recent wave of new clubs, Al Haxire though is the most prominent of the second wave teams having been competitive in the championship race ever since making it to the top division. Located in the city of Wolfin, on Wolf island is a predominantly Arabic team, as are many of its fans. It seems the team is once again a lull where they are just not good enough to qualify for international competition, but not bad enough to be worried about their fate. This though could cause problems if they become complacent, and with the loss of longtime player Entwhistle many fans are worried the 10th year in the top flight may be their last.

Atlantea Hurricanes

Ground:Atlantea Coliseum 590,000
Manager:Alexander White
Colors:Blue and Green
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Win the League…Easily
Starters:Samuel, Ikerlawsonaz**, Nantucket, Vanswoi*, Sebastian**, Malote**, Kleinfelters, Knickerbocker, Valhalla, Prekith**, Murphy
ReservesLance, Drew, Klassen, Nichols, LaClaire, Muoesh
Sponsor:Atlantea Business Association
Nickname(s):Hurricanes, Canes
Offseason Moves:Sold LCD Wesley Talley to Knightspurs, Sold Conway Riverside to Los Riosa Monstas. Bought Drew Nantucket LCD from Bayern-Algaer, bought Kyle Valhalla LF from Blacklake Blues.
Last Season Finish:1st
Team InfoAtlantea Hurricanes is by far the most prominent of Taeshani teams on the international and national sides. One of the most successful sides in Taeshani international competition once finishing runner up in the Globe Cup, the only Tae team to ever be anywhere near that close to a championship. The team finished a nice double last year with Fadron Pizza Cup, and League Championships. The League Championship was their 13th win of the league title. The richest club in Taeshan will once again look to win the Taeshani title in the upcoming season, and hopefully they will do it in style.

Bayern-Algaer

Ground:Bayern Stadium 24,000
Manager:Johnathen Lee
Colors:Red and Black
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Win League, Beat the Phoenix
Starters:Habavëm**, Wantanabe, Nantucket, Angelburry, Tanner, Stewart*, Fisher, Walters, Williams, Petran, Kljestan
ReservesCross, Frederick, West, Jackson, Haney
Sponsor:Weaver, Smith and Wrangler
Nickname(s):Weavers
Offseason Moves: George Hermoney RS Retired, bought RS Brian Kljestan from Wiechester FC
Last Season Finish:3rd
Team InfoOne of the 12 teams added at the beginning of the third division many years ago Bayern-Algaer have proven in the past few years that perhaps they are as good as crosstown foes Bayern Phoenix. And with 3 league titles to their names to Phoenix’s 2 many believe them. With another 3rd place finish in the previous season though many fans are getting crossed by how the once repeat champions have now fallen into Globe Cup obscurity.

Bayern Battery

Ground:Joe Sixpack Memorial Stadium 88,000
Manager:Andrew Jeremi
Colors:Purple and Black
Fan Support:Moderate
Expectations:Stay in top Flight
Starters:Narkly, Laswank, Miller, Andrews, Grainger, Turcotte, Kline *, Potter, Sanka, Bolduc**, Miller
Reserves:Mills, Swartaz, Boston. Obermaier, Johnson
Sponsor:Taeshan Army Reserves
Nickname(s):Cannons, Gunners
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:17th
Team InfoThe third team to join the top flight from the city of Bayern the Battery are vastly outspent by the two bigger clubs from Bayern, and much of the time outplayed. Still in the top flight many predict them to continue to stay afloat in the top division, at least until things get really hairy in the coming years as many teams from the lower divisions start to get the cash intake of the higher teams, and with the new fifth division it only seems a matter of years until Bayern will be worried again.

Bayern Phoenix

Ground:Old Club Stadium 77,000
Manager:Tyler Smith
Colors:Red and Blue
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Win the Championship
Starters:Newman, Cardona**, Ewing**, Johnson, Svenson, Wantanabe, Raul, Grainger, Williamson**, Hughes, O’Hannigain**
ReservesDavenport, Sanchez, Green, Bishop, Santiago, Petreas
Sponsor:Glendale Pharmacy
Nickname(s):Phoenix
Offseason Moves:LM Perry Grainger, and MF Kyle Green Retired. LM Mark Williams bought from Greenville Glory, and MF Joshua Hagerty bought from Little Wingett. Bought LCB Fowler Ewing from Indica United Souther Cynocephali and released Mahatmo.
Last Season Finish:5th
Team InfoThe Phoenix were one of the teams added after the Island Cup was officially stopped and the league was expanded to 20 teams. The Phoenix have always been contenders in the league but barely ever prove to have any actual brilliance in the league. With two straight championships followed by an off year many wonder what is in store for the upcoming season a return to the top, or another off year with nothing to cheer about?

Blacklake Blues

Ground:Blacklake Blues Ballpark 79,000
Manager:Jeremy Fisher
Colors:Blue and Green
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Stay in top division
Starters:Martinez, Hardner, Martin, Montreal, Rat, Nicolescu**, Octavian**, Morgenstern*, Valhalla, Washington, Cannon
Reserves:Worchester, Drants, Tedeschi, Rodriguez, Phoenix
Sponsor:Blacklake Brewery
Nickname(s):Blues
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:20th
Team InfoAnother year in the premiership, but for many of their fans it’s getting kind of old barely holding on to the top flight. Sure they can continually be below average, but that isn’t good enough for the fans and no manager will stay as long as Fisher has without a result soon.

Celtic Rangers F.C.

Ground:Celtic Park 50,000
Manager:Micheal Jeanette
Colors:Blue and Green
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Avoid Relegation
Starters:Stamkos, Tashner, Meijer, Schnader, Fox, Vãduva**, Mohammed**, Warner, Forrest, Winters, Westerby*
ReservesMiller, Aguero, Tayler, Fayette, Asher
Sponsor:Chocomilk
Nickname(s):Rangers
Offseason Moves:Bought GK Jordan Stamkos and LCB Kyle Meijer from LeFever AC. Bought RW Peter Winters from Little Wingett.
Last Season Finish:4th Erste Liga
Team Info:Celtic will be the first team to join fellow newcomer SK Nethers United FC in the top flight since being promoted with them in their first year in the Dritte liga. The team is very exciting to watch, but can they continue that against sides that are much better than anything they have ever seen.

Fadrön Flight

Ground:Fadron University Field 89,000
Manager:Capricorn Mayuscula
Colors:Green and Red
Fan Support:Low
Expectations:Stay in top division...For god’s sake
Starters:Micheals, Forrest, Lewis, Wallace, Riggins, Weasley, Dumbledore, Scmitt, Dereke, Tree*, Descamps
Reserves:Salt, Kenssington, Johns, Wallace, Woods
Sponsor:Taeshan Air
Nickname(s):Flight, Flyers
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:14th
Team InfoIt was a great season back top side for the Flight, but many wonder if it was just a lucky year as a promotion side and if the team is for real. It is expected that the team will prove themselves or do the exact opposite in the upcoming season.

Knightspurs

Ground:The Dome 92,300
Manager:Micheal Tyler
Colors:Purple and Powder Blue
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup spot
Starters:Yitterbee*, Petree, Sanchez, Nedved, Talley, Etchebarne**, Farnsworth, von Hittite, Legart, Schwartz, Lee
ReservesFrench, Flash, Jacoby, Halfwech, Leonard
Sponsor:Tae-Mart
Nickname(s):Spurs, Knights
Offseason Moves:George Hamlut RCD, Drew Lenders LM, Adam Grey CM, Jopa Legerd DF retired. Bought RCD Wesley Talley from Bayern Pheonix. Bought LM Peter Farnsworth from Karela Sekhika. Bought CM Peter von Hittite from Little Wingett. Bought DF Nicholas Jacoby from Ying Jing Yankees.
Last Season Finish:4th
Team InfoKnightspurs had their best season ever with a 4th place finish in the previous season. After a bad Globe Cup performance though many are wondering how they can top it in the upcoming season. The team has shown flashes of brilliance, but one wonders if they can do better.

Laketown Rangers

Ground:Stadium on the Lake
Manager:Jose Williams
Colors:Blue, Blue and More Blue
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Stay in top Flight, Compete for Some sort of Cup
Starters:Riddle, Regulus III, Stevenson, Lovegood, Finnigan, Thomas, Sanders, Ireland, Pavel*, O'Stagles, Whaler
Reserves:Yelnats, Lafferty, Laurette, Leary, Warrington
Sponsor:Laketown Police Academy
Nickname(s):Rangers
Offseason Moves:Sold RM Jon LaCroix to New Capetown Falcons, bought Percy Ireland from Reading Rainbow Warriors.
Last Season Finish:7th
Team InfoThe Rangers continue to stay in the top flight, but after a great season which saw them finish just 6 points out of the Globe Cup, Manager Jose Williams decided to push for more this season working to get his team ready for a run for more glory than the club has ever seen before.

Los Riosa Monstas

Ground:Gangsters Park 99,000
Manager:Greg Loshie
Colors:Blue and Yellow
Fan Support:High
Expectations:High Middle Pack
Starters:Bobby, Allison, Johnson, LaRue, Lee, Overland**, Keens, LaPaige*, Mathers, Micheals, Riverside
ReservesFortuna, Michealson, Noles, Jones, Melville
Sponsor:Taeshan Mob
Nickname(s):Monstas, Gangstas
Offseason Moves:Jake Vern RF Retired, Conway Riverside RF bought from Atlantea Hurricanes.
Last Season Finish:9th
Team InfoLos Riosa is one of the few teams that have always been in the Premier League since they joined the league. In a surprising offseason move longtime manager A.J. Kline was fired and replaced by unknown Capetown Crocs former manager Greg Loshie who put the parts in place at the end of last season that have many thinking the Crocs may one day return to the premier league. We wish him well/

Mierton Manatees

Ground:Mierton Area Park
Manager:Ilya Baker
Colors:Blue and White
Fan Support:Low
Expectations:Avoid Relegation, or Don’t
Starters:Lightfoot, McMullen, Sanchez, Hedges, Levander, McCain, Pato, Evra, Gardner,Yelnats, Druw
ReservesMartin, Geronimo, Lewis, Nakrazeel, Stevenson
Sponsor:No Doubt Apparel
Nickname(s):Manatees
Offseason Moves:Patrice Liane CM, and Ute Lenox ST Retired. Signed Manny Pato CM from Real Chinchinhua and Kyle Nakrazeel from SK Ojian.
Last Season Finish:23rd
Team InfoAfter an very unshocking season which saw them finish just outside of automatic relegation from the Premier League the Manatees were luckily able to stay topside by defeating Reichland in the promotion playoffs and have added another year to their most recent stay in the top flight.

Minutemen

Ground:Sun Death Financial Field 20,000
Manager:John Smith
Colors:Red, White and Blue
Fan Support:Below Average
Expectations:Stay in top Flight.
Starters:Lions, Hartnell, Tamapher, Warkle, Lemure, Connel, Hart *, **, Newman, Scott, Wanner, McMicheal
Reserves:Lewison, Johnson, Edu, Williams, Lane
Sponsor:Sun Death Financial
Nickname(s):90ers, Rejected Oranges
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:21st
Team InfoBroke off from the other big Ojian Club Ojian Orangemen. The Ojian derby is a yearly double of exciting football. Last year left much to be desired for the Minutemen fans, but the only move made in the offseason was the firing of manager Kyle Granderson, and the signing of former Greenville Glory leader John Smith.

Mt Ceabring Thunder

Ground:Mt Ceabring Athletic Complex 10,000
Manager:Micheal Lupin
Colors:Brown and Cream
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Continue to Build for Future
Starters:King*, Gardner, Flores**, Scmidt, Parker, Bell, Arthur, Blake, Thonrton, Jamison, Zul’Zorander
ReservesSmith, Tyrony, Gorchakov**, Connelson, Thomas
Sponsor:Kane Industries
Nickname(s):Thunder
Offseason Moves:RF Don Holliday, ST Heidi James, MI Tony Zeke Retiring. Signed ST Eric Gorchakov from Polar Islandstates Academy, Signed MI Matt Thomas from Ying Jing Yankees, signed RF Jeremiah Zul’Zorander from AC Sikane.
Last Season Finish:18th
Team InfoMt Ceabring was an original member of the Island Cup but was not included in the expansion of the league, and only recently was reformed in the most recent league expansion. The team quickly vaulted in two seasons to the top flight and is looking to pounce into the international scene. They had an off season last year and didn’t even make much headway in the cup, but many predict it was just preparation for a big season to come

New Capetown Falcons

Ground:New Capetown Memorial Park 100,111
Manager:Matt Christopher
Colors:Pink, Red and Grey
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Middle Pack
Starters:Lance, Grey, Grant*, MacArthur, Nashville, Kelly, Skinder, Westinghouse, Williams, Leo, Lacroix
ReservesWhite, Mashkov, Denver, Frank, Cellani
Sponsor:Falcon Brewery
Nickname(s):Falcons
Offseason Moves:Jake Reillans CF and Sergey Liandro Retired. Bought CF Jon Lacroix from Laketown Rangers, Bought MI Patrick Denver from AC Sikane
Last Season Finish:15th
Team InfoNot a barnstorming team in any way one of the few teams to stay in the top division every year in its history the Falcons continue to show that they are not a team to be messed with, yet not nessacarily one to be feared either. Either way they continue to show promise, whether or not it matters.

Ojian Orangemen

Ground:Ojian Principality Field 99,000
Manager:Matt Wanner
Colors:Orange and Blue
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup spot
Starters:Randew, Jacobsen, Mester, Stasny, LeBefrve, Canada*, Feilhaber, Jewseth, Lise, Portmanteau, Drake
ReservesGlen, Drew, Grace, Toriago, Schlegel
Sponsor:Orange Lake Benefit Society
Nickname(s):Orangemen
Offseason Moves:ST Same Linchie and SS Annie Lewis Retired. Bought SS Ryan Portmanteau from Caché and ST Alexandre Drew from Greenville Glory.

Last Season Finish:6th
Team InfoWhat a great year for the Orangemen, just points away from a return to the Globe Cup, but progress is progress. The team continues to build and grow in strength as do its supporters. It wouldn’t be shocking if in the near future we finally got to see the Orangemen turn the nation orange with a championship.

Rapids

Ground:Rapid Athletic Park 100,000
Manager:Martan Lemur
Colors:Dark Blue and Pink
Fan Support:Rapidly Improving
Expectations:Stay in top Flight.
Starters:Möle, Lefwich, Sanchez, White, Martin, Patel, Wassie, Lemiux*, Rooney, Gretsky, Parker
Reserves:Obliski, Cook, Fisher, Eberly, Nagle
Sponsor:Rapid Corporation
Nickname(s):Rapids, Swirlies
Offseason Moves:DF Tyler Gritsky Retired, bought DF Andrew Cook from Pwux Panthers.
Last Season Finish:13th
Team InfoThe team is once again returning to the top flight but as shown before they do not have the knack for staying there. Still no changes but after that last season making no changes was a bright change. But can they keep it up in their second season topside?

Reading Rainbow Warriors

Ground:World Aquatics Park 67,000
Manager:Randall Lee
Colors:All of Them
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup
Starters:Cataguay, Micheal, Gerald, Micheals, Walker*, Czapp, Debronowitz, Wiggin, Walters, Peters, Dirt
ReservesMason, Williams, Catamount, Lennon, Clapton
Sponsor:World Aquatics
Nickname(s):Rainbows, Warriors, Rainbow Warriors
Offseason Moves:Sold RM Percy Ireland to Laketown Rangers, and signed Seth Clapton at ST.
Last Season Finish:8th
Team InfoReading oh what a site to see, on any given day they have a new jersey. In fact I’m pretty sure their contract stipulates that they cannot where the same exact colored jersey in more than two games...Yeah weird huh, owner Peter Fuller is flamboyant at the least and a flaming homo at the most. Well it was an interesting offseason for the most out and about team in Taeshani football. It included the loss of a starting midfielder and goalie, and a backup in the middle. One year it took to get rid of their biggest signing selling away Percy Ireland, but promoted Ender Wiggin to replace him even though not a natural Midfield player. According to the coach, “It’s Ender Fucking Wiggin, He can do anything.” We’ll take his word for it.

Real Chinchinhua

Ground:Real Stadium on the Lake 99,001
Manager:Mefusula White
Colors:Red and Purple
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Compete for Championship
Starters:Lichaj, White, Sacha, Fisher, Green, Fuller, Houck, Palisades, Fullerton, Flowne, Oberholtzer
ReservesLaake**, Dissinger, Longer, Lee, Anderson
Sponsor:Water Solutions of Lake Minor
Nickname(s):Chihuahuas
Offseason Moves:Bought Defender Gustaf Laake from Polar Islandstates Academy. Sold DF Manny Pato to Mierton Manatees.
Last Season Finish:11th
Team InfoNot a bad season for a rebuilding year, but now things are starting to look up. The Academy prospects have a year in, the team is getting an influx of cash flow, and the former champions may soon be back in the thick of the championship.

SK Nethers United FC

Ground:Netherpia Municipal Stadion
Manager:Grant Valdez
Colors:Royal Blue and Light Yellow
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Finish Mid Table
Starters:Foose, de Huiyten**, Oorschot, Cramer*, **, Iqbal**, Bradley, Stern, Jarrold, Hanson, Hiarchrates**, Catamount
ReservesKing, Hemingway, York, Gadje, Alexander
Sponsor:Notzi Zombees
Nickname(s):Flying Dutchmen
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:19th
Team InfoThe Flying Dutchmen now have a rival from their few years in the lower division in Celtic Rangers. And if they continue to impress top side they may one day have an impact on the international scene. Things are looking up, and so are they.
Taeshan City Miners

Ground:Taeshan Educators Park 56,000
Manager:Connor Skiles
Colors:Red and Orange
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Avoid Relegation
Starters:Xavier, Hornet, Perry, Myers, Miller, Skiles, Hopkins, Sanchez, Livingston, Praetor*, Ralkin
ReservesParks, Swartz, Lake, York, Lancaster
Sponsor:Taeshan Educators Association
Nickname(s):Miners
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:2nd Erste Liga
Team InfoFor the first time since Hele departed for Daehanjeiguk there is a buzz in the city former capital city. Many fans are happy to see that the Miners have once again returned to the top flight. There are still many problems with keeping them topside, but it’s such a thrill to see them back in the thick of the premier league.

Tintown Terrapins

Ground:Tintown Stadium 23,000
Manager:Josiah Grant
Colors:White and Jade
Fan Support:Low
Expectations:Avoid Relegation
Starters:
Reserves
Sponsor:Tintown Ironworks
Nickname(s):Terrapins
Offseason Moves:None
Last Season Finish:1st Erste Liga
Team InfoJust a year out of the top flight, but that can really hurt a team. The elevator may go up and down a lot, but for most people they’d like this to be the Terp’s last year on the pony.
Wiechester FC

Ground:Fadron Pizza Field at Wonder Park 450,000
Manager:Muazong Kuha
Colors:Red and Black
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Compete For Championship
Starters:Williams, Hollows, Watkins*, Patel, Yelnoes, Blueknife, Holloway, Keller, Leszack, Grveler, Woods
ReservesGrainger, Smith, Growel, Miller, Werner
Sponsor:Tae-Mart
Nickname(s):Ballers
Offseason Moves:Sold ST Brian Kljestan to Bayern-Algaer, promoted Academy Member Rudolph Werner.
Last Season Finish:2nd
Team InfoSecond in the league is not too shabby, not too shabby at all, but they are Wiechester FC, they should be doing that year in year out. The real question should how dominating they are against most teams. Another season is about to start, and it’s time for them to once again push to be that team to take the next championship.

X Island Marauders

Ground:X Island Metropark 200,000
Manager:Jack Long
Colors:black and White
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup Spot
Starters:Diego, Kline, Landsdale, Green, Tedeschi, Lane*, Grace, Landslide, Granni, Fisher, Conway
ReservesOlliver, Micheals, Lewis, Drew, Perans
Sponsor:Winehold Crematorium
Nickname(s):Marauders
Offseason Moves:LCAM Jordan Granni retired with injury, bought LCAM Ludvig de Huiyt from FC Torshavn.
Last Season Finish:10th
Team InfoX Island Marauders are the most historic rivals to the Atlantea Hurricanes, but have only once one the cups themselves. They were members of the Island Cup championship always losing to the Canes in the finals. They have had a rollercoaster few seasons lately and are not a very consistent team. Still around they continue to be good, but not above good. But what can you do? They also decided not to make any summer moves which are a trend this year for mid table sides second division. It should be another interesting year avoiding relegation, but it will be exciting.

Miskatonic Varsity Leagues

For the purposes of UICA qualification

The Miskatonic University is the principle organiser of football in the nation of Wight, where professors, lecturers, graduates, under-graduates, administrators, cleaners, alumni and general riff-raff with an interest in playing come together to compete for the various departments and schools. There are four leagues of varying standard in the Miskatonic Varsity Leagues; at the top of the pile are two equally ranked leagues - the Inter-Faculty and Alumni leagues. Under UICA rulings, these two leagues will provide the top two each for UICA competition - with a play-off of the league winners - the Despite Trophy - to decide the University champion and Champions Cup entry. Below the top leagues is the Students Union Football League for present students - this will provide the Serie B entrants - and below that, the Haphazard Foundation for those students, staff and alumni not good enough to play for the more serious teams - the riff-raff. There is no movement of teams between leagues, but of course there is movement of players, as they graduate and move to the alumni or become faculty staff.

Founded by writer of dark arts H.P.Lovecraft, the Miskatonic University exists, like all things, in any number of iterations. In this particular version, the University was stolen - in it's entirety - by capricious Búa, a fan of Lovecraft, the art of lying and football, and refounded in the extensive granite citadel of timeless Wight Spit, where it is devoted to the usual academic pursuits of science, reason, the arts, fanciful theology and some additional interests which remain to be explored. The present Chancellor of Miskatonic University, and by extension head of the Varsity League Association, is Dean Jules Verne Re-Animated.

Showing off their incredibly minor league's results for the first time, its the twin-city of Ares-y-Penthesilea's very own Emirate League.

Clubs for Esportiva internationl competitions should be taken from the top, as many as is appropriate.
(NOTE: Results have to be copied from nsfs directly rather than saved to notepad first, otherwise Greek characters are lost, therefore just the anglicised name is perfectly acceptable.)

SO YOU WANT TO FOLLOW ACQUAN FOOTBALL, EH?
A consumer's guide to understanding the newly uncovered Campiocinato of Ossidiacqua

Image

As some of you may or may not know, the Oasirican Campiocinato was already well established, if fairly isolated, when the nation headed into a period of national deterioration and reformation under the time wall, during what because known as the Pause Time. The game went from insanely popular, to banned under curfew laws to prevent the spread of la Plaga, to being played underground away from the regime's prying eyes, to taking its place back in the obsession of the nation, and eventually becoming a light for the Acquans to hold aloft together, a beacon of hope in dark times.

43 years of championships, then 270 years of Pause Time championships means a lot of history...

Now fully back in the real multiverse, the Campiocinato is opening its doors for international scrutiny once more, and will soon be posting its first post-Pause league results for the UICA and the international community to digest. But first of all, with a potential audience in the millions suddenly becoming available, an awareness campaign is required. So, without further ado, the teams of the Acquan Campiocinato...

Image

ImageImage
CA Conquistadores
63 Campiocinatos
El Imperio - 95,411 (Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
The most successful side in the nation, but only just, Conquistadores make up one of the four clubs with a near enough stranglehold on the titles. For fans of those outside the big four, Conquistadores are perhaps the best of a bad bunch. For fans of Conquistadores, only the best will do, but failing that, finishing above Caballeros will suffice.

ImageImage
Condensadores CD
62 Campiocinatos
Estadio Acqua - 93,300(Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
Trailing cross town rivals Conquistadores by only a single championship, these two teams have been tit for tat almost as long a anyone can remember. Situated in the north of the colossal city, around some of the huge condensing plants that generate drinking water for the city.

ImageImage
Caballeros CF
58 Campiocinatos
Stade Blanco - 89,770(Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
With a reputation for rough riding and generally negative tactics, the Knights are nonetheless a team on the up and catching up with their main two rivals. Hate Conquistadores fans with a passion.

ImageImage
Qolo-Qolo
46 Campiocinatos
Il Cratere - 98,211(Sant'Antioco, Centroasi)
Lagging somewhat behind the 'Sant'Elia Three', Qolo-Qolo round up the 'big four' all the same. Have undergone huge periods where they won nothing in their history, interspersed with periods of huge domination. Perhaps the best supported side in the nation.

ImageImage
Internazionale
23 Campiocinatos
Rue de Novembre - 74,100(Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
A classic side built on old fashioned values and a progressive outlook, Internazionale are envious of the other Sant'Elia clubs' success, blind to their own successes with envy sometimes, despite the fact they've been the main club to break up the dominance of the big four in recent years.

ImageImage
Atletico Sant'Elia
17 Campiocinatos
Palacios Luis Stade - 56,033 (Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
Always strong performers, despite the fact they've not actually closed out a championship for absolutely ages.

ImageImage
Unión Gimignano CF
17 Campiocinatos
Camp Perez - 78,014(Pax-en-Gimignano, Gimignano)
Currently winning 17-0 in the town versus gown rivalry going on in Pax-en-Gimignano, Unión are a strong defensive side with an intimidating atmosphere hovering around their stadium.

ImageImage
AS Débardeurs Nationale
11 Campiocinatos
Stade de la Mer - 61,031 (Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
One of the most improved teams of recent years, their district is one of the big dockland areas in the capital, and also houses Il Colosseo. Fierce rivalry with Berenice-Fedora.

ImageImage
Magisterio AC
9 Campiocinatos
Stadio Municipal - 72,941 (Sant'Elia, Sant'Elia)
One of the most successful clubs in early years, the official club of the Magisterium has lost its ties with the religious orders, but maintains their sense of tradition, not changing their kit or badge once in 313 years.

ImageImage
Académica di Terrabianco
4 Campiocinatos
Estadio Domingo - 42,044 (Terrabianco, Centroasi)
Won the first two Campiocinatos, but have done precious little ever since.

ImageImage
RCD San Marco
1 Campiocinato
Stade du Ray - 79,233 (San Marco, San Marco)
Clings to the memory of their one championship season like a jewel. The big dock city of the north;s main team enjoys a feverishly dedicated and loyal support.

ImageImage
Clube Cobreloa
1 Campiocinato
Stadio Luis Giro - 47,211(Collindiana, Collindiana)
One of the strongest defensive sides in the league, have a real giant-killing reputation, and regularly come away from the capital with three points in hand.

ImageImage
Olimpico Oasi SS
Stadio Olimpico - 59,001 (Sant'Antioco, Centroasi)
Fierce rivalry with Qolo-Qolo often leaves them exhausted, as they cannot hope to match their cross-town rivals for skill, history, support, or prospects. Still, the odd victory over Qolo-Qolo is enough to tide them over.

ImageImage
RC de Mallerosa
Stade Oasi - 58,244 (Malleros, Centroasi)
Have come close twice in recent years, but have never lifted the precious trophy.

ImageImage
SS Clube Vortice
Stade Symphorium - 56,921 (Sommieres, Cittadella)
Covet the title more than anything, if only to match up to Hibernia fans' bragging.

ImageImage
RC Vitória de Cavasco
Stadio Martin Salazar - 48,052 (Cavasco, Cittadella)
Consistently punch above their weight, reputation-wise, and have their fair share of cup exploits to show for it.

ImageImage
AS Universidad Tecnico
Campo Domingo - 60,042 (Pax-en-Gimignano, Gimignano)
Can probably never be the side that Unión are, but make a living out of trying to emulate their rivals.

ImageImage
Unione Industriali CF
La Fabbrica - 50,582 (Villacqua, Marquestra)
Located in the centre of an area of what used to be heavy industry, the name stuck despite the city's deterioration as an industrial hub.

ImageImage
CD Parquisteres
Stadio Parquistolos - 58,122 (Arquilio, Parquistolos)
For reasons nobody is quite sure of, have labelled RCD San Marco as hated rivals, and strive to out-perform them each season.

ImageImage
Estudiantes CRF
Stadio Comunale - 42,011 (Elbegna, Nerocosta)
Used to be top half regulars, now have become used to division hopping. Still, nobody ever fancies a trip to Stadio Comunale.

FC Sommieres Hibernia
1 Campiocinato
Stade Hibernia - 27,692 (Sommieres, Cittadella)

Additionally, there is the Trofeo Magisterio. Running throughout the season, it features home and away ties drawn randomly from all teams in the league, leading up to a single leg final at Il Colosseo after all the other action has been played out. Though it features more past winners than the Campiocinato has, the Sant'Elia clubs again dominate, and AS Débardeurs Nationale are the current holders.

HO league - the homelands our tier 2

For the first time to HOFA (HomelandOurFootballAccosiation) has decided to make a new league. This will start as an inter-city league but from next season will have promotion and relegation from the super league. So no one goes up or down this year. Harloop is split as it is the biggest city.
Team	P	W	D	L	F	A	Pts
napio 16 10 2 4 27 16 32
jersey 16 10 2 4 26 25 32
east kilbride 16 8 6 2 30 17 30
swift 16 6 4 6 16 17 22
Harloop north 16 4 6 6 17 21 18
harloop south 16 5 2 9 16 19 17
choup 16 4 2 10 19 26 14
Newland 16 3 4 9 20 30 13

So well done to NAPIO who has won the first HO league, but they will have to do it again next season to be promoted.
SBCC:Napio, Jersey, East Kilbride, Swift full qualification will be posted soon.

Season I: Part V

Matchday 37
And back and forther we go as CAP losing in Stein-los to let their lead once again become the balance of only a single match. Myrkan continues to be a nuisance, this time felling Turkish at home, while dear Tanrısal could not add to Royal's tough goings.

Santos Luega (PAS) 2–2 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
SC Sardin (PAS) 1–0 Skyte City (QPM)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 1–0 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 1–1 Tanrısal (PAS)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 2–2 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Real Minanda (QPM) 3–3 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Pythons (QPM) 1–1 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 0–1 Almondvale (QPM)
Lunas FC (PAS) 1–1 Athletic Khaldoon (QPM)
Jonastown United (QPM) 2–2 Augustus (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 1–3 Baskita FC (PAS)
Club Stein-los (PAS) 3–2 CA Paulinthal (PAS)

Matchday 38
Well, a lucky escape in the capital for CAP and a surprise victory for Valengren over the Club and CAP once again has a five point lead at the top. Baskita has put a string of victories together and now finds themselves out of the drop zone. Seeing as how they won last seasons PSL and are struggling to survive the Liga goes to show the depth and talent found in the league. Peynol-Lunas and Santos were both big winners this weekend, both dominating a Pocoan side in their fixture. Is this a sign that maybe Pasargan clubs are the better of the two associations?

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–1 Club Stein-los (PAS)
CA Paulinthal (PAS) 4–3 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Baskita FC (PAS) 2–0 Jonastown United (QPM)
Augustus (QPM) 2–2 Lunas FC (PAS)
Athletic Khaldoon (QPM) 0–5 Peynol-Lunas (PAS)
Almondvale (QPM) 2–4 Pythons (QPM)
Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 2–0 Real Minanda (QPM)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 1–0 Ridgemont Town (QPM)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 1–0 Royal Khaldoon (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 0–1 SC Myrkan (PAS)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 2–3 SC Sardin (PAS)
Skyte City (QPM) 1–5 Santos Luega (PAS)

Matchday 39
Holy Santos! A seven three demolition of Turkish and they are suddenly the in form team of the league. Royal can not say the same as the failed to find even a lousy point against 1860 who is all but relegated already. Baskita wins again and inches ever closer to safety, while CAP needed an injury time winner to keep their lead as it is, though expanding it to six points over Santos now as Club managed to lose in the capital to Fetherdron.

Skyte City (QPM) 0–3 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Santos Luega (PAS) 7–3 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
SC Sardin (PAS) 3–4 Tanrısal (PAS)
SC Myrkan (PAS) 2–2 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Royal Khaldoon (QPM) 0–1 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)
Ridgemont Town (QPM) 2–3 Ajax Khaldoon (QPM)

Matchday 40
Fetherdron takes another scalp as they hold the Kickers at their own place. All is not lost for the title contenders around the league though, as Santos was held by Tanrısal in Stein-los and CAP lost in Pualinthal to Lunas, who continues to show up when we write them off as nothing but a midtable side. Royal edged out Ajax in another Khaldoon derby, but sitting only five points above the drop is sure to make the last few matchdays quite nervy for them and their supporters.

Copa de La Luna y el Fuego Semifinals
Well, it was a tense affair that was rather hyped, but turned out to be less than what it was expected as Pythons managed to edge CAP in extra time to secure their passage on to the Final. It will be disappointing for CAP, as they were hoping to do the inagural double, but it is a testament that there is some fight in the Pocoan upper echelon. Pythons will be facing Galactica, who despite their second tiered status, have performed like one would have expected from the upper tiers of the Liga side. The match will be played in Stade de Torgos the weekend after the final league matches, with each side receiving 40,000 tickets a piece to the ninety thousand capacity stadium.

Pythons (QPM) 0–0(1–0 AET) CA Paulinthal (PAS)
Galactica (PAS) 4–2 Targas United (PAS)

Matchday 41
A rather strange weekend that saw Skyte once more play the role of the bogey team for big clubs, this team stealing a draw away from Tanrısal with a last minute winner to separate the two sides. Turkish stifled Valengren's attack and converted a penalty on the hour mark to get the full three points in their big clash. Baskita's brave run finally ended against Pythons, CAP went into Lunas and crushed Peynol, while Sardin and 1860 put on a finishing clinic in a nine goal thriller that saw the Pasargan's get the victory.

Matchday 42
Just when you think CAP has the title gift wrapped, they let others back in, after slipping up against Pythons while Santos escaped 1860's ground with a victory to bring the gap to three points with four matches left. It has likely come down to either CAP or Santos winning the title, which will make the supporters in Paulinthal happy, but not the rest of the nation and certainly not the Pocoans.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 1–0 Jonastown United (QPM)
Fetherdron United (PAS) 2–2 Lunas FC (PAS)

Tulduroc United (PAS) 4–2 Skyte City (QPM)
Tanrısal (PAS) 4–0 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)

Matchday 43
Tanrısal decided to race to a three to nil lead in Stein-los against the Kickers and then had to hold on for dear life as they nearly came all the way back, but did in fact earn the three points. Baskita, in a show of wanting to stay up in the Liga, went on a six to nil RAWRCRUSH in Ridgemont. The biggest news is that there is a new leader on top of the table as Santos defeated Ajax and CAP fell to Minanda.

Tanrısal (PAS) 3–2 Valengren Kickers (QPM)
Stein-los Turkish (PAS) 0–0 Tulduroc United (PAS)
Skyte City (QPM) 2–3 1860 Flumineiro (QPM)

Pythons (QPM) 3–1 Club Stein-los (PAS)
Peynol-Lunas (PAS) 0–1 Fetherdron United (PAS)
Lunas FC (PAS) 3–2 Jonastown United (QPM)

Matchday 44
Oh Santos, this was your chance to claim the title, as CAP and Ridgemont put up goals galore in Paulinthal, twelve combined, but CAP only coming in with five of them to drop the game. Yet Almondvale had their say in the title race by blanking Santos in their own victory, as the small clubs of the Pocoan side showed their might. Royal has to be getting nervy as they dropped their match with Baskita but are thankfully six points clear with two matches left.

Valengren Kickers (QPM) 2–4 Lunas FC (PAS)

Ajax Khaldoon (QPM) 3–1 Skyte City (QPM)
1860 Flumineiro (QPM) 1–4 Stein-los Turkish (PAS)
Tulduroc United (PAS) 0–0 Tanrısal (PAS)

Matchday 45
Santos and CAP both lost again, meaning that it is all going to come down to the final matchday to see who earns the title of champions. The pair of losses have allowed Tanrısal to pull themselves back into the race, sitting two points adrift from the co-leaders. Augustus sits three back as well, but their goal difference means even if the right scenario fell for them, they really do not have a legitimate shot at taking the title. However a mere draw for them secures them their spot in the TQCC in the summer, though Almondvale could nab it with a victory and Augustus losing on the final day.

Tulduroc United (PAS) 0–1 Valengren Kickers (QPM)

Cyprardeos- Duchy League

For those who may not know, the Grand Duchy of Cyprardeos is made up of two fiefdoms, as different as night and day. The Northern Fief is the main nation, and is The Fief of Cyprardeos. Which operates on a community culture, and chiefs and village shamans lead the nation.
The Southern Fief is the Fief of Asadur, and is made up of a king, controlling fifty-seven different states within Asadur, each headed by a baron (think feudal europe). The two fiefs are enourmously different, untied only by the fact that Cyprardeos, long, long ago, annexed Asadur, and the Asadurans are content to stay under the relative control of the Cyprardeans.

Which brings us to football. The Duchy League is composed of four leagues, 2 from Cyprardeos, and two from Asadur. The best two teams from each league enter the Cyprardeos Champion's League, which follows a unique format known as a "Cyprardean Bracket".
In the first round, the Four league winners play a single round-robin group. The best two teams go straight to the final. The bottom two teams then play the top two teams from the runners-up group in the qualifying round. The top two teams from this join the winner's group champion's in the final, and the top team in the final wins the Duchy League.

In addition, there is the Fief's Cup. In the first round, the four third-placed teams play a group stage, and the best two move on to play a group stage with the bottom two teams from the runners-up group in the champion's league.
The next round sees the two best from that round play the bottom two from the qualifying group of the Champion's League, the winner of this group winning the Fief's Cup.

And so, without further ado, I present to you the Duchy League's First season!
