Is there anyway to search for topics started by a user, like on Jolt?

It seems that you can, but it's much harder:

Go to the Search Page
Look for the "Search for author:" field in the Search Query category, and type in the poster's name.
In the Search Options category, change "Search within:" to "First post of topics only."
Change "Display results as:" to topics.
Click the search button.

Not even close to being as easy as it was on Jolt...

at least it works.
